Direct connection to US. Otherwise no in flight food choice and food quality is poor. Not much entertainment choices and are outdated. I just starved and slept through the flight.

My seat wasn’t comfortable enough even though I paid for it. Seafood menu wasn’t good. I was left hungry throughout my flight because I cannot eat a lot of stuff :( overall it was a pleasant flight. Passengers are pretty well behaved and less noisy compared to Cathay Pacific. There are no toilet seat papers.

On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

When boarding in Hong Kong we had to go through an additional security check between the gate and the plane (that was a first...) and had our water bottles confiscated. So we were reliant on what they would give us on the plane. Seats were tight, unlike some airlines that give you a little extra room. Wouldn't fly again unless their price was a real bargain."

But you did get it out again and proceeded to pull the same stunt as we descended. Stunning behaviour. I enjoyed how you convinced the crew to put your laptop in the overhead bin both times. I believe the clincher was the four carry on bags you had with you. Priceless. Guess you should be grateful you weren't on a US domestic flight. But I'm sure you would have turned the story away from you and on to the crew."

I very much enjoyed the meals and snacks. Also, the complementary wine was a nice treat and tasted surprisingly good. -The complementary pillows and blankets were nice, warm, and soft. -The flights were on time, much better than American airlines that I've flown on. -The bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the flight and were much cleaner and nicer smelling than other airlines that I've been on."

I understand how hard it must be to design a plane that fits that many people and that's comfortable for 24+hrs of flying, but a few improvements could relatively easily be made I think, which would improve the experience dramatically: -If the seats were softer (and perhaps more ergonomically designed with an average person's shape in mind) it would make a world of difference, I think. -Being able to put the arm up on the wall side of the window seat would make it much more comfortable. -Padding on the arms would also help. -Of course more leg space and wider seats would make a world of difference, but I know that is tough to do since space is limited."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Khuyết điểm: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Luggage handling. Arrived in Johannesburg without my luggage. Communication regarding lost luggage is basically non-existent.
A really excellent and comfortable experience. No wifi in my section of business class though - would have made it perfect.

Khuyết điểm: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Khuyết điểm: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."

Khuyết điểm: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Ưu: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."

On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."

Khuyết điểm: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."
Ưu: "I didn't feel cramped in a Window Seat. Two meals were served during the flight. It was nice to get back to being fed something other than skippy snacks on an airline flight."
Khuyết điểm: "I was ignored over and over again as ice cream, drinks and snacks were offer by the crew. It would have been nice if some would ask me before falling asleep if I wanted to be roused for snacks and desserts. After being on back to back flights of more than 10 hours each it would be considerate for the crew to be aware of my length of travel and to make sure they don't assume my resting my eyes is the same as me being asleep. Even when I was awake it appeared I was being overlooked, ignored and left out of complimentary services I saw other receiving....my bad for not asking to be noticed."
Ưu: "The crew was very comfortable speaking two languages and friendly. They also had air conditioning! This was great because it was strangely hot in Paris and we were sweating profusely. And our last air france experience we were so hot and it was aweful. Even though it was like an hour and a half flight they still served us sandwiches ,really good."
