Latam never said that I needed a PCR test 24 hours prior to traveling. I got an email saying “72 hours”. I had to leave the airport in Santiago, pay $45 for a taxi and pay $50 for a rapid test and then rush back to the airport. The Santiago flight left late and I lost my JFK connection to SFO. Alaska air couldn’t help. I had to buy a new ticket

I booked the flight through budgetair.com and paid for one checked bag. When I went to LATAM gate at the airport, they told me they had no record of my purchasing a checked bag and would need to charge me. Budgetair insisted I had paid for a checked bag and LATAM insisted I had not and would need to pay again. Not sure if the issue is with budgetair or LATAM or both

Others had their rolling pieces brought onto the plane and there was enough room, so I was a little worried about if someone was going through it or if it would make it to the destination. It did show up."

Ưu: "LA844 was cancelled the day before but luckily our day went off without a hitch. LA842 was delayed several hours to create LA1144, which was effectively the cancelled flight from the day before. Airport wasn't as chaotic as I might have expected. No issues at all with this flight."
Khuyết điểm: "I'm still weary of LATAM after they left us in Lima for 15 hours after 2 cancelled flights. No issues this flight though (at least for us... poor sobs on the cancelled flight the day before were delayed about 15 hours themselves)."

VERY disappointed! We had to wait for over an hour at the desk for help, just to find out that we had missed our connection. No communication whatsoever from LATAM!"

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was delayed for 5.5 hours first and another 40 minutes after the boarding due to mechanical problems. Instead of arriving at 10 pm we ended landing at 4 am. We were so exhausted and basically wasted the hotel we booked for the night."
Ưu: "Absolutely no customer service. Lost my full payment because Latam has no flexibility. They don't need to employ people in a "custom service department " because they don't offer any. Their options for rescheduling is zero. Their reply to all modifications is "no". Not even if you're standing at the boarding gate and they have empty seats. Use any other options for flight. Try Sky Airlines instead."
Ưu: "I flew business on the new airplane the Dreamliner. The experience was overall good. Very comfy plane. Slept like a baby. The food was the only bad thing I skipped both meals as it tasted like airplane food or frozen food out of a box."
