Boarded quickly. Arrived on the tarmac early. Delayed a little getting to the gate because of gate crowding.
Very friendly crew, but again had separated seats and had to swap.
Missed connection due to bus driver shortage between terminal and plane. 5 hours of waiting in multiple lines to find new flight. Lost luggage. Scanners not working at terminal gate entries. Nightmare experience!
The delay was very annoying
The crew was great. We were in first class in 2D and 2F. The man in front of us coughed continually with a very deep cough. We were very concerned that he may have been infected and we plan to be tested for Covid-19. As a Condition of flying we support airlines requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test within the past 72 hours. Otherwise airlines may find a segment of the population refusing to fly.

Khuyết điểm: "AA needs to standardize their WiFi. Sometimes it is boingo, GoGo, or Panasonic or something other. Each has a different way of logging in. It is way too complicated. Sometimes you can watch on the iPad in a browser, other times you need a flash player or the AA app. Have a common way of at least accessing the internet, otherwise it can take 10 minutes to log in if switching from a GoGo yo Panasonic service. It is just too difficult and buggy. I am glad I don’t actually pay for the internet."

Khuyết điểm: "I paid $70 for what I thought was Updating my seat to bulkhead section and it ended up being for me just selecting my seat. Epic fail."
Khuyết điểm: "Truth is they practice in like cattle. I ended up sitting next to a ginormous woman. It was a very uncomfortable flight from DC to Charleston. Come on American you're better than that quit using such small planes!"

Khuyết điểm: "This was a terrible flight. Had a connection that was delayed several times and eventually cancelled without explanation. I was traveling for my best friend's wedding and they did not work with me to try to get me on the next flight. I had to book another flight from another airline."

Khuyết điểm: "Seat back in economy was uncomfortable for a shorter person. The head rest pushed my head so far forward that my back and neck were curved so much it caused upper back pain."

Ưu: "The crew was pleasant and it was nice to have a complimentary meal and wine. We landed very early."
Khuyết điểm: "This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

Khuyết điểm: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Ưu: "We where late boarding, jet didn’t have fuel, we had delay after delay. This flight is never on time. every time I have taken this flight I am delayed. Also getting into charolette, we always spend at least 20 min on the tarmac"

Khuyết điểm: "Boarding lounge and plane were hot. No gluten-free options for snacks. At least I’d had a long layover where I could get a decent meal."
Khuyết điểm: "Our connecting flight to New Orleans was cancelled and we had to rent a car or wait until the next flight out which was 5pm the next day. We opted to rent a car and Had to cancel our return flight home to be refunded. American Airlines cancelled multiple flights and were in total disarray. Still waiting to see if they will honor the refund"
Ưu: "Again, we had heard stories of kids being separated from adults, but all family was together. Many entertainment options and friendly staff. Also, when I asked at gate, the attendant allowed our family with 3 kids ages 5, 7, 9 to board with one of the earlier groups. That helped a lot as it took the kids a little longer to get all set and we were not hurried."

Khuyết điểm: "Few staff people were clearly having an off day and seemed very unfriendly and crabby, especially obvious when almost everyone else was so friendly and attentive. Makes them stick out like a sore thumb."

Ưu: "Due to weather my flight was cancelled. Before I even realized it I had been rebooked on a direct flight. No glitches, no headaches. Perfect!"

Khuyết điểm: "My daughter is in a wheelchair. She was a carry on (I e I carry her on board). The staff knew this but failed to notify the airport. Hence, we had to deplane without a jetway. I didn’t. The steep stairs made it unsafe. Had to wait a long time for a handcranked lift. No one really knew what they were doing and they wanted to put her in an adult wheelchair in spite of my identifying safety issues. My daughter was scared and upset. Epic failure on AA’s part. Communication breakdown on many levels. Shameful."
Khuyết điểm: "the AA flight arriving to Charlotte experienced a door malfunction that delayed deplaning by 15 minutes. Not a big deal unless you had a close connection to begin with. Result was a dead sprint to Charleston gate where no attempt to hold the plane for those passengers. Also, a black, middle-aged woman with short hair working the ticket counter had the personality of a piece of cardboard with zero responsiveness. AA should reconsider who it places to interact with the general public."

Khuyết điểm: "This flight was operated by Avianca, the flight was delayed 2 hours at the beginning, they said they will give as a voucher for food while we wait, when I went to the counter they said they don't give anything for a 2 hours delay. Then the flight was delayed a 1/2 hour extra, it was not even announced and we ended up boarding at 12:15am from a flight that was supposed to leave at 9:35pm, then the plane was waiting for 1/2 hour before we went abroad and I ended up arriving at 2am to my destination when I was supposed to arrive at 10:45pm, this was the worst fight experience and we didn't even got an apology for the inconvenience."

Khuyết điểm: "Still arriving in Washington where we have no gate. Being on time stinks because you still sit on runway. AT the destination. I would focus on quicker turn around and less accommodation of highly variable flight times in tight NE corridor"

Ưu: "Great service. With FOOD!!! Real Food! The entertainment system was great ( I played most of the flight) On time!"
