Excellent service. Clean aircraft. Took off and landed on time. Did not feel it was an 18 hour flight. Will definitely fly Singapore Airlines again.

Also, we booked on Kayak and was routed through a third party vendor JustFly, which I was a little worried about - but our booking went off without a hitch."

We later upgrade seats via Singapore then discovered the duplicate booking and misspelling. To fix that JustFly cancelled the booking with the seat upgrade. Singapore restored our upgrade at the airport but only on one direction so we had to go through it all again."

Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

Poor boarding. Missed connecting flight. Had to stay in airport for 7 extra hours. Meal was provided but no accommodation provided and no lay flat seats. Would have been satisfied if a place to stay were provided for

I went ahead and took it, then as a way to apologize he offered to get me a piece of fruit, a banana. I accepted but he never came back with it. It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

Ưu: "This review is for return travel from ATL to MAA (Chennai, India) and back. Route: ATL-DOH: about 14.5 hrs; DOH-MAA: about 4.5 hrs; Likes: 1. Baggage check-in process was simple and easy. 2. Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."

Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

They also pressurized us to decide quickly. our each check in baggage was over weight 1 KG or less than 1 KG due to faulty scale at home. They pressurized us to make one baggage over weight from all 7 bags and harassed us to do it quickly because they are closing counter in 20 minutes. That's how they charged me another $65. Also they lied on the counter that your seats are in a row but when i went into the plane our seats were separate. Lesson learned don't trust the person over the counter of Qatar airways."

After going through the whole security screening process to enter the departures area (I boarded in Singapore), the whole security process is performed again to get to the gate. Why do I and my carry-on luggage need to be checked twice? Once at the gate, all passengers are herded like sheep into an area that has insufficient seats for the number of passengers, so many are left to stand or sit on the floor. If the airline wants to use a plane that carries 500+ passengers, then use a gate that can accommodate that number."

Emirates put us on a new flight, we were waiting in queu for 30 min, and my queu wouldn't move because of one passenger. I asked the person in charge, if it will take another 30 min, I should go to another queu (because the other two queus already finished with lines up longer. ) the guy said nothing. I was next in line and when my turn arrived, I asked for a similar seat or something at the window, he give me an angry look and give me seat 50B on EK121. That is the last seat next to the toilet. I adked him to change and give me somthing else because I have medical condition and easily get nauseau if I sit toward e end, he said, that is it ma'am. I repeated to him my request and medical conditon, he turned his face away and said next person in line! There were at least 50 more passengers booked after me and 50 more seats available, he intentioanlly gave me the seat I asked not to be given just because while standing in line I asked him, why the line up hadnt moved an inch in 30 minutes. This is a very un professional behaviour and unacceptable behaviou. I had never before had such uncomfortabel flight in my life. I had nauseau during the whole flight!"

TV positioning is not ergonomical and co-passenger's TV screen is too bright when trying to sleep."

Service could be better. Not if it is because of covid or if it because Etihad is facing financial struggles but the overall journey was below average compared to other business class I have taken in past. I was comparing with Emirates which is much better service and plane quality.
Overall experience except baggage collection in Chicago was good. In Chicago, baggages from many flights routed to single domestic carousel that had caused lots of mess and many had to wait for more than 90 minutes to collect the baggage as Etihad baggages were released in pockets due to priorities given to other domestic flights baggage

Our attendant was not customer friendly- infact I don’t recall her smiling once throughout the 13 hour journey. Overheard her being stern and rude with other passengers. I specifically asked the crew to deliver my stroller in AUD for transit since we were flying the next day and they didn’t fulfill our request. Luckily AUD airport has strollers so we used one and took it to our hotel. The fact that Etihad doesn’t provide hotel accommodation for 14 hour transits is beyond ridiculous. Really disappointed in this lack of arrangement for long haul flights."

I believe that this person needs to be trained in order to know who needs to be helped first as he worked at that particular counter for people who already Checkin online."

I asked more than one Eithihqd personeel and they did not know the difference bewtween Nyac flight and DC flight . Then came back to request for seating and they again made believe my security will be declines if i waste timein requesting seating. Got a flight between 2 males for a 15 hour flight and a run across the airport with a heart problem . I will never fly Eithihqd and also will not recommend to anyone"

Ưu: "The flight was very quiet so I was able to lie down and get a good rest - I know this isn’t possible on every flight but it made the long flight a lot more comfortable. All of the crew members were very friendly and attentive. The food was really good and tasty (lamb curry I think it was) - best plane food that I’ve ever had. Good choice of new movies too."

The food was very bad taste during the flight,coffee and tea had a very bad taste. Orange juice taste very bad too. No personal kit was given during the flight. Over all very bad experience. Please coney my comments to Etihad Airways."

A minimum flight of 5 hours was served with just the one meal. We were served lunch at 930 am on one flight. The observations in economy aren't as important as business class. Only if we could all afford to travel on business class."

Khuyết điểm: "Boarding was a chaos at the Abu Dhabi airport, they were just calling out for the Business Class and passengers who are disabled and those who are travelling with children to board first when everybody came to line up. Nobody from the ground staff even asked them to give way for those who are boarding first or announced what zone are they boarding next. Also, i used the mobile app to check in, i am definitely sure i chose an isle seat (you can see it on the seat map during online check in) but i was surprised to see that i got a window seat."

Why must you pay $600 for missing a flight you ALREADY PAID for. I loved my first experience with Etihad but second time was not as pleasant."

However, near the end of my flight I went to the bathroom and noticed there were MANY open seats with more than a handful of people that had a whole row to themselves. I wonder where she got her information because what she shared with me was totally false and I am totally appaled. very old on flight - dress warm!"

Khuyết điểm: "I sit in 2K of A350-900. Though it is known as a throne seat, there is an error on the installation of this seat. The foot rest that comes up and supposedly joined with the ottoman to make up the flat bed is too long so this seat never can actually go to full 180 degree mode."

No one from Malaysia Airlines showed off to explain the situation. Me and my wife dont have any clothes to change. Very bad"

Than on the way back from Jakarta to KL the flight was late again I just nearly made it for my connnecting flight to Osaka. Overall it was ok but something must be done for delayed flights."
