Their safety demonstration was uniquely done by dancer, which made it interesting to watch every time! I left my jacket on one of my flights, but they returned it to me when I boarded the next flight - I was gratefully surprised! They had complementary tooth brush/toothpaste, ear plugs and eye masks in the restrooms. I thought this was a good way to reduce passing out items not all passengers wanted. I wish all airlines could copy these amazing features from them."

The rolls with margarine, same fruit and strongly cultural seasoned vegetables that were served every time, all of which I could not eat. I have liked every airline meals and hospital food, but their food was below institutional food quality. For an Asian airline, the flight attendants were rather crude in their speech and mannerisms. I could barely hear and understand the announcements in spite the fact that passengers were extremely quiet. Their choices of movies were very poor; it seemed that 3 out of 4 flights had similar options."

Ưu: "It's hard to get a flight out of Vietnam one-time using their cheap local carriers so I went with an international brand. At $200 roundtrip, I was worried there were going to be a bunch of charges for things as well as delays. But low and behold, UNI/EVA seems to have figured out cheap tickets that run on schedule and includes all the normal perks like luggage. 1:50am flight is perfect, left Vietnam on time and even arrived in Taipei ahead of schedule! I would definitely fly them again."

As an airline I understand you need to have rules and guidelines to function, however sending me over to open my luggage on the floor in front of 1000's of other people is just humiliating!! If that is such a strict policy you really should have a space with some kind of privacy available and set up for customers to prepare to make things meet your standards. Then he changed my seat assignment for some reason and put me in an exit row..... not explaining that there is NO SPACE AT ALL for ANY carry on bags. That means no pills nearby that I needed, or headphones, magazines, iPads etc. I was really mad when I sat down and immediately asked to be moved. Luckily someone was willing to trade. Needed more to eat on a 14 hour flight also. Was really hungry."

Overall, not a good experience as I hoped it would be."
On June 18th, I flew from RDU to JFK, NY. The plane was delayed in the runway for 1+ hours. As soon as I got out of the plane, I got a wheelchair (dur to my heart and back pain) and told the agent to go as fast as he can to Turkish airline terminal so we can catch the flight. We arrived at Turkish airline gate and the airplane doors were closed. I asked and almost begged to let us get in, but our request was denied. Therefore, we lost our connecting flight by Turkish airline to Istanbul, Turkey. We still had 20 minutes left from the departure. But Turkish airline said, they close the door 40 minutes before the departure. Around 12:15 AM (now is June 19th), I walked all the way from Turkish airline to JetBlue ticket counter (half an hour walk) and asked for next flight to Istanbul. After waiting for 2+ hours in the line, JetBlue indicated that next day flight to Istanbul is all sold-out and Turkish airline does not have any space from JFK to Istanbul. The agent said, why don’t you get a hotel and come back tomorrow morning and there might be a space for you. She said, most of time, there is a cancellation, and they should be able to accommodate us. Then, we have started to search for near-by hotel and after 2+ hours searching (all near-by hotels were sold-out) around 3:30 AM we found a Comfort-Inn which was 10 miles away. We got Uber and went to that hotel. The guy asked for $230+$50 deposit cash (no credit card) per person for only 6 hours as we had to be out by 12 PM. My son and I got 2 rooms very close to lobby (Room# C15 and C17). Once I got to my room, I saw flies and bugs in the corner of my room. At this time, I thought about getting a rest and try to connect my next flight to Istanbul which was extremely important to me. Once I got into the bed, it was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was uneven and bad. To make the long story short, I only slept one hour (at the most) due to around 6 AM, lots of kids in the lobby were making noise which I could hear them well. They only reimbursed one of the rooms and the other one they charged us as my son had the same problem as me. I did not argue as my goal was to get to JFK airport and get my ticket to Istanbul to see my nephew and his new wife. We came back to JFK airport and again stayed in the line for 2+ hours. Once it was our turn, the JetBlue ticket counter indicated; they don’t have anything from JFK to Istanbul. However, they have a flight from JFK to Boston and from Boston to Istanbul. I said, Let’s get that ticket, immediately The JetBlue agent said, I had to go to Turkish airline “Lost and Found” section to pick up my luggage and hand carry it back to JetBlue from JFK to Boston, then from Boston to Istanbul. This means, I had to go back again all the way to Turkish airline in another Terminal, get my luggage and bring it back to JetBlue. Due to so many people missed their flights, I had to wait for 2+ hours to get my luggage due to “Lost and Found” being so busy with so many lost luggage from other passengers. After 2+ hours, I picked up my luggage and took it all the way back to JetBlue (half an hour walk). I got to JetBlue ticket counter and re-checked my luggage going from JFK to Boston and Boston to Istanbul. I spent 3+ hours walking around and then I went to JetBlue’s gate for departure to Boston at 7:30 PM and then from there depart to Istanbul at 11:30 PM. Around 7:10 PM, the agent announced that, the plane which was supposed to pick us up has not arrived and there will be a delay. I asked the ticket counter agent, how long is the delay and he said, he does not know. Around 8:30 PM, the plane was arrived. The agent told me, by time they board us, it will be 9:00 PM and the soonest we get to Boston, it will be between 10:30 to 10:40 PM which Turkish airline closes the gate for their 11:30 PM departure to Istanbul. So, the agent said, there is no way we could make on-time and I will miss the flight from Boston to Istanbul. I went back to the ticket counter, and they said, they don’t have anything next day (Tuesday June 21st) and asked to stay in the hotel for another night. At this time, I was unbelievably shocked and stunned by JetBlue and how they treated me. Being in JFK airport and that bad hotel for over 30+ hours, not having my medications with me, I was at a point of falling due to being weak of not taking my medicines. I never thought this would happen to me. I decided to go back home to RDU, NC as we have missed my nephew’s wedding on June 19th and also missed the “Ceremony after the Wedding” on June 20th. There was no point for us to go to Istanbul as my nephew and his wife were gone to Honeymoon and all relatives were going back to their countries. We were extremely disappointed as it happened twice and the level of caring we received were extremely low. JetBlue agents did not even care that we lost connecting flights twice. They were all laughing, working very slow, talking personal and eating Pizzas while taking care of JetBlue tense customers. At this point, we decided to go back home to RDU, NC. This was due to being weak and having dizziness. The agent said, they will issue us 2 on way tickets which will be paid for. The plane was supposed to leave JFK towards RDU at 9:55 PM. Guess what, it left the airport at 11:30 PM, and arrives in RDU around 12:45 AM. As soon as I got home, I took my medications, passed out and slept for 11 hours. On Monday I rest all day as my heart and my body were aching. Yesterday, I was in contact with jet Blue (Code share department) as well as Kayak agency and other agencies for hotels and tours which all were cancelled due to JetBlue delays which occurred twice back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. In summary, I lost my nephew’s wedding who is like a son to me. While I was in airport, we spoke on the phone, after the Wedding and after the ceremony. He said, uncle, without you, this wedding was meaningless to me and my bright. As soon as he said, I cried. It broke my heart and we both cried over the phone. These back-to-back delays happened only because of JetBlue. My nephew and I lost a big one here as I am still at lost and could NOT believe, this happened to me.
The crew at checking give us a hard time even with two children and one Enfant for no reason just for 2 kilo overweight they make us stay there for like one hour be careful with that Not helpful at all and so weird people bad experience bad experience

Sitting in an overcrowded Airport in Turkey was so uncomfortable and miserable. Boarding was very long lines and went through so many check points. But the staff was very friendly on board. Praise God I made it home safe."
Khuyết điểm: "The lay over from Munich Germany to The US in the Turkey Airport was So Uncomfortable and Miserable. I was told that I would be given a room but never received it. The Airport was severely overcrowded all night and day. I was going to use Turkey monthly to go back to Germany but I probably won't now."

When time came other crew member served us completely ignorant of our request. We were served flash of some animal. We did not want to make a scene but people around were were also bothered. We came out hungry at the other end"

Khuyết điểm: "- there was a gate change less than half an hour before boarding, which was not announced via speaker or on the screen in the previous gate - therefore most people were still in the previous gate and only because one of the passengers realized and communicated the change everyone else became aware of it as well -> then everyone ran to the new gate, which did not have enough seating and where children were crying because they did not understand the hectic - On board - just before departure - two families got into an argument and yelled at each other and the crew. They were very loud and aggressive. - Usually I love the food Turkish Airlines serves, but this time I had dry and oily pasta and a very strange and too sweet chocolate mousse. I did not enjoy eating this and it did not taste fresh at all. - There was no entertainment."

I was so uncomfortable sitting with a person who was drinking whisky repeatedly and also please take care of the smell in the aircraft , it was really bad in the flight from Dubai to N Delhi Juice should have some more options"
Ưu: "I thought 11 thousand dollars for 2 of us to fly was way to dear business class there was not a lot of room. Was my own fault I thought I was going on a380 but I woukd think twice about booking again for that price not worth it."

We got stuck with $350 in baggage fees, because a clause stating that we were not allowed a check-in bag was buried in the fine print for our ticket purchase. The website was not working prior to our return flight, and if it had worked, we would have been able to get at least a discount on this outrageous fee. But , despite this, (we took a screenshot) the counter staff in Abu Dhabi would not give us the discount. A baggage fee for $350 dollars for one bag? There is word for this. Thievery."
Ưu: "The flight was very quiet so I was able to lie down and get a good rest - I know this isn’t possible on every flight but it made the long flight a lot more comfortable. All of the crew members were very friendly and attentive. The food was really good and tasty (lamb curry I think it was) - best plane food that I’ve ever had. Good choice of new movies too."

My luggage was not delivered along with my flight and I had to file complaint to get it delivered. It caused lots of hardship as I had no way of contacting my family to let them know I had arrived and was safe. They were all worried when I didn't come out of the airport at Hyderabad in a timely manner since I traveled alone due to an emergency."

Felt like second class..."
Khuyết điểm: "Etihad overbooked me along with more than a dozen other passengers on a 14-hour international flight. Apparently Etihad decides on who gets left behind. Etihad's "Transit Travelers" service is one of the WORST customer service desks I've ever been to. I waited in line for 2 hours. Passengers were urging to be served so they can make it to their connecting flights not knowing they have been already selected not to board those plains. Voices were raised and demands were made to speak to the supervisor. It was chaos. I made it to the agent shortly after the gate to my flight had opened. I was shocked by how the agent lacked empathy when he informed me I won't make it to the connecting flight because it had been overbooked. Not an apology or even sir! I was forced to be rerouted which stretches my 25-hour trip to 33 hours. Then the connecting flight gets delayed more than an hour resulting in missing the second connecting flight. Now my trip has become a 41-hour trip, I missed a day of work that's worth more than double the value of the voucher Etihad gave me and lost one day of unscheduled vacation. Etihad even damages my bag that had servived more than 10 flights. I will never fly Etihad and strongly recommend against flying with Etihad."
