The Pilot was Good. Better Food will be nice.
The flight was very good, no problems. Movies and TV to watch. Food was ok. My only criticism is switching flights in Manilla was awful. . I have never seen anything done in such a ridiculous manner.. I came from Singapore with a destination of Hawaii. I am from the USA, so of course I had to go through customs. Can't blame the airline for this, but the Philipines ought to reconsider this process.

Ưu: "The "Forward seats" are advertised on airline documents for $20 on regional flight. MNL-SGN is definitely a regional flight, but they charged me $50 for the one seat choice. The comfort is definitely much better. I had guessed it was worth the 20 dollars, but 50 seems a rip-off."

They told us to transfer to a different location for lounge access then we were denied after we paid for it. They didn’t do anything to correct the mistake. Very unfortunate despite speaking to many managers."

Khuyết điểm: "PAL is literally never on time. The terminal process was absurd - 300 person line to check in and print a boarding pass. Then it was 1hr late to boars and then >90 mins waiting on the tarmac. Just a terrible on-time performance and inconvenient process that is typical of PAL"

Ưu: "Loved that the crew boarded everyone accorsig to seat zone starting with the backmost part... enabled speedy boarding and you'd think this would be SOP but many PAL flights don't do this. Always happy with the refurbished aircraft and selection of in-flight entertainment."

Khuyết điểm: "I checked in early and was given a middle seat. I have back problems and walk with a cane and asked at the check in desk if I could have a window or aisle. I was told no because the flight was completely booked. I arrived three hours early and checked in online so I could get a better seat and they still said no. No one was able to help me. The flight was delayed over an hour and there was no apology. I always fly Philippine Airlines because IV always been really pleased with the service. This past flight makes me question that decision going forward."

Khuyết điểm: "Food on return flight was terrible. Got stuck with pork selection for first meal, which was extremely fatty. Second meal, pork again, with eggs. Completely inedible. Disgusting, and Im not a very picky eater."

Khuyết điểm: "There is a lot to improve on with their food. As the main Philippine carrier, they should make adobo in the best possible and original way that returning residents will immediately feel they are "home"."

Khuyết điểm: "Original flight was cancelled for 'operational reasons' - was put on next day flight instead. Repeatedly called Philippine Airlines customer service to ask about them providing overnight hotel accommodation given the new flight time, but was either told to call back later, that they had entered the wrong date for the request for hotel accommodation - in the end received no reply at all!! Worst airline customer service experience ever!"

Khuyết điểm: "If you are transiting flying with kids- avoid this carrier like plague. My 10 year old threw up- had air sickness while take off and they offboarded us saying they will keep us for observation. We didn't realize that we would not be able to get tickets on the next flight as it was sold out and the ground staff would want to fleece us for fare difference etc etc. I was traveling alone with 2 kids in a foreign country where I had never beem before and the airline ground staff were horrible. I went through hours or stress and eventually when I broke down in stress they accomodated me on the next flight. I wouldn't recommend traveling with this airline if you are traveling alone with kids."

Ưu: "Philippine Air didn't disappoint, which it has at times because it seems to always be delayed. However, not this time, and the service Philippine Air provides is very good."
Khuyết điểm: "I never heard the airport announce boarding for this flight, but simply saw people slowly begin to head through the gate, so I did likewise. For that matter, Busan's Gimhae airport is third-class at best, IMO. I flew out of Busan once before and the experience was terrible again. Would always recommend travelers take the KTX to Incheon where you'll have more options, probably lower fares and less aggravation."
