One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

This erasure of the record and random seat assignment nullify the effort on the part of the passenger (making a call is not a trivial act these days because of the long waits) and generate uncertainty in the minds of the travellers. Hope you can improve on this point. That will make an even better impression on the passengers."

I am a Military service member and was not authorized to take the flight I had booked, so after explaining the circumstances and submitting the requested memo...no refund! I will advise all my people to steer clear from Turkish Airlines."

When did you last have metal eating utensils with your meal..... if you even got a meal. Plus multi channel seat back entertainment on a three hour flight. I wish the U.S. would open domestic markets to foreign carriers."

That applies for everything I had (except the yellow rice which was good). As for the entertainment - I watch mainly comedy episodes on TV. The same episodes were given on all 4 legs."

Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

We were offered seats on an earlier fight which we eagerly accepted. Knowing that this route is often cited as one of the busiest in the world it was no surprise to find ourselves on a wide-body jet, Airbus 330-200 even on this 2-hour flight. A small snack was served. The flight was uneventful."

Everybody went like crazy through the airport terminal looking for a Gate that does not exist. Followed by a counter-announcement. And then being bussed to the aircraft. People came on board up to the last minute... Arrival in SGN crazy for a different reason. All 300-some passengers were bussed again. Just that the ladders were not ready, and then whoever drove could not adjust them, and then the busses were not ready either. 25 minutes from landing to the luggage belts. Vietnamese airports need to work on their their procedures."

Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

Ưu: "On its Airbus A 350 Vietnam Airlines recently introduced a new arrangement for the Premium Economy Section. This is the only aircraft used on the SGN-CDG line. Before they had a lay-out of 3-3-3 seats across, strictly identical with the Economy section. It is now 2-4-2, giving some more space to sit comfortably. All seats have now a fixed separation, with the possibility of placing a glass or other small objects on top of it; they look like a smaller version of the old Business Class seats. In the first row the design of the fold-up screens has been improved. Previously some invaded the personal space of the neighbour, as I had experienced last October (my knee still remembers it). Khuyết điểm: "In Premium Economy Vietnam Airlines used to serve a lavish breakfast menu. Most of it was sent back as waste, because so many passengers (e.g. French) are accustomed to a minimalist continental breakfast. All this lavishness has disappeared now. While I understand the reason why, I wonder why they also eliminated the small portion of jam or jelly. Only butter is available to spread (spread?) on the tiny bun. It would be a nice touch to have also some jelly. Also during the night shift they used to offer some nice sandwiches to sleepless passengers. Now only pots of instant noodles are offered on demand. These pots are not well adapted for European passengers."

At about 3:15pm they announced the flight was canceled due to a mystery mechanical issue and they re booked everyone on to the 6:10pm flight, which miraculously had enough empty seats to accommodate everyone. The 6:10 flight left about 15 minutes late, and still had plenty of empty seats."
Ưu: "Everyone has to check in at the counter with no digital kiosks, adding an extra hour. Plane was empty but they would not put anyone into first class. Most importantly the plane felt and sounded like it was about to disintegrate. To top it all off it was the worst food I have seen on an airplane"

Ưu: "The return BA flight was head and shoulders over the outgoing AA flight. You had new, comfortable, working equipment (the 787 is great). The AA plane basically was awful, old, cramp, entertainment equipment wasn't working and when it did it was the old style shared monitor. The BA crew was super and approachable. The Food was great for airplane food. I would fly BA anytime."

Spent 10 hours overnihht at Heathrow in London because British Airways wasn't giving out hotel vouchers just £15 in meal vouchers. Disappointing."

After all the various special groups were loaded in an orderly fashion the other 80% were called en masse which was disorderly. We had a lot of turbulence which the captain never addressed. I get he has to fly the plane but he could give folks a heads up on how long it was anticipated to last. It's scary at times and a word from the expert would be calming. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper."

Ưu: "-Exceedingly helpful checking staff - Pleasant flight crew - More than enough movies and content in personal entertainment system to keep busy for 8 hrs - frequent beverages offered throughout flight including juice and water - communication from flight deck is warm and welcoming - overall a level or two above any US airline"

Toilets were out of order and only one was available for most of an eight-hour flight. Airline charged for drinks. Food (chicken stew in a brown gravy?) was repellant. Entertainment choices dated and uninteresting. Luggage lost, with one agent available to slowly help more than 30 people. Luggage missing for over 24 hours. No response from airline. Enough."

Khuyết điểm: "Business class consisted of blocking off the middle seat in a row of three, and no extra space. The seat in front of me was as close as it was for economy. Why on earth would anyone spend extra on this, I have no clue."

Very shortly before landing a received a cold fritata in a box with warning "the contents may be hot" or not..."

Ưu: "Crew was really helpful and nice. Quite flight, very comfortable. I would really recommend this airline! First time taking it and was a little worried cause of some reviews but it was totally worth it. I'm very picky with this type of things and I do not regret taking it!"
