Being that I’ve never been to ICN or NRT before, having access to terminal maps and basic instructions on how to find connecting flights and baggage claim areas was probably one of the most helpful features of the flight!"

Having just transferred from Korean Airlines and taken other asian airlines on my trip, it's a hard comparison to a domestic airline, although Hawaiian is among one of the better domestics. On my food tray, there was a bowl of miso soup, that the attendant was trying to hand me, while there was turbulence. The bowl of miso was smiling all over the tray, and on my napkin, and since I was on the inside seat, almost spilled all over me. On a previous Korean airline fight, also with turbulence, the attendant had taken the bowl off the tray, and covered it with a saran, and then handed it to me to make sure it wouldn't spill all over me. There's a bit of difference there."
AA Made mistake and cancel our tickets. We are Stan by. Only 2 of 4 of us boarded the plane
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in

The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."

I think with AA you have to pick your aircraft, it makes a difference what plane you fly as to what you get in business class. FA's were great. Overall I'd fly them again. Food was ok."

To top it off, the plane was very smelly; I got a headache because of it. We also had to return to the gate due to a technical issue and ended up leaving almost two hours late, which defeated the purpose of picking this flight over the rest as it was the one that was supposed to land in Milan the earliest. I will be careful next time I pick a flight to check what kind of airplane they're using. My assumption that international flights have the best airplanes seems to be wrong :(."

Ultimately, after my bride's name snafu between tickets and reservations BA left us standing at the ticket counter with no way to get to Rome. AA stepped in and put us on the next day's non-stop to Rome which was great but we lost a full day off our honeymoon."
