Singapore air ticket, first flight on Singapore, connection on Scoot. Could not get boarding pass for Scoot flight at checking though booking was the same ticket and Scoot flight had SQ flight number. Transfer desk near arrival gate would not issue Scoot boarding pass. Only in terminal 1. Transfer desk in D gates was closed. Had to go to the beginning of C terminal to get boarding pass. Between bad directions and distance I lost 35 minutes getting a boarding pass. Flight had started boarding when I finally was allowed in the gate. Bussed onto the tarmac, not ideal but manageable.
Lost my luggage in Singapore, which was not transferred to my destination flight to Hanoi. Singapore Air takes absolutely no responsibility for their wholly owned subsidiary Scoot Airlines. The airline can do everything right, but if they lose your luggage, they’ve failed
Kayak will not refund tickets for my traveler who’s passport had time issue. Never again kayak
I felt there were rules for some and different ones for others in the same class which I felt was unfair even though it didn’t necessarily affect me.Water (especially) and snacks needed to be brought round more often especially for people that don’t sleep. I found all the staff really pleasant.

Everything is excellent eventhough our flight was cancelled. They provide us accomodation in the hotel and food. I understand why the flight was cancelled and I’m glad they did cause it’s for our own safety.

The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."

The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

No help or explanation. Not a fan of Jetstar or their web site."

Had to pay $4 for a bottle."

Naturally my bags didn't make it past Sydney. There was no in flight breakfast or complimentary snacks nor was there any TVs for the 3 hour flight. Overall, not the best experience."

However, on the return flight when I went to check the bags in they said I would have to pay $210 for 2 bags. Thanks jetsatr and kayak for not having a good process to order a head of time. Won't use either again unless someone reads this and gives me a refund."

Would someone like to explain this? I will be taking this up with the senior partners at your company as I feel this is complete miss advertising. The fact that you can state zero fees and then expect customers to pay extra is RIDICULOUS!!! I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN, EVEN IF THE PRICE IS CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN A COMPETITOR."

Khuyết điểm: "Had to carry carry-on suit case up and down stairs when boarded the plane. Based on the seat, half of the passengers boarded through regular ramped hall way, half boarded through back door that went downstairs to get out of the building, then up the stairs to the airplane. In Auckland airport international terminal, all passengers had to weight their carry-on and personal bags, and if it's more than seven kg, you have to check it in. This was the first time I experienced that. I bought gifts in the airport and planned to buy more. Our carry ons were a few kg over the limit, and we were sent back to the check in counter, where we just got our boarding passes and no warnings were given. We were lucky we had plenty of time during this transfer to go through all the back and forth hassles. Paying the extra $$ for the surprise check ins was not pleasant. There was another scale at the gate counter, which totally cancelled my shopping plan. To be fair, weight limit was not enforced when we boarded the plane, but you never know when that scale will be used. During the flight, I asked a flight attendant for water, and she told me to get it myself pointing the curtain half a plane away. Another new experience. This was the first time we took Jetstar, and on the way to New Zealand, we didn't feel it was too much different from the other airlines we flew before except you have to pay for everything from a cup of tea to meals and entertainment, and of course we didn't go through Auckland. The return trip really made us realize you get what you pay for."
