The flight crew is always friendly and accommodating, the food is satisfactory and I've never experienced a delay. Keep up the wonderful service."

Also while I'm on the topic, my continuing winger is luggage charge calculation. Why do I at 72kg with 10kg of luggage have to pay extra when a 150kg person doesn't. Air travel cost is directly proportional to payload. This has to change."

The chat was clunky and not compatable with mobile phone. Then they couldn't refund the extra fees I had paid for assigned seats - that is a "different chat site" though I was reassigned a Quantas ticket and given tickets that had us split up on that flight. They couldn't give me a booking number or anything like that for the Quantas flight either. I will just save the hassle and fly with Quantas next time. Unimpressed with JetStar and their customer service was terrible. Still out the refund money and frankly it is worth it not to have to deal with them again."

The allowance was also much less than on other airlines- traveling for 2 months made this a real surprise and made us shuffle things around at the counter. Awkward and we were able to carry the extra on so what was the point of the inconvenience. Kayak should have provided option to purchase at time of booking. Not even water included in flight."

The burden was on me to reschedule (to a very inconvenient ultra early departure), and I had to twist the customer service fellow's arm to give me a beverage voucher in compensation. Then, when boarding I was mugged for my back pack. 50$ because it was over their utterly disingenuous 7kg "safety limit". It's not a safety rule - the CAA sets that. It's a revenue rule."

At airport I was charged $682 for luggage cause " I didn't say I was flying with luggage "supposedly opting out of the $ 35.00 fee for luggage. Only other option was to re-book for next day loosing out of bookings in Cairns which was not an option. Many other passengers on our flight faced same predatory practices by Jetstar. Gate agent said website changed to be more transparent. This is not true Luggage fees more than doubled cost of flight. This is only direct flight from Adelaide and you're trapped .""

They charge per kilo for bags being overweight. They weigh your carry on plus your personal items which can only add up to 7 kg and will charge you if you are over even if by just 1kg. Do not ever fly with jetstar."

Could not be bothered fighting over the fifth as there were only four of us travelling and had only accidentally paid for five. After all the costs for add-ons, it's better to pay slightly more for a better carrier."
