Leg room space and gap in beteen seats

More healthy food options.

Ưu: "We had to come home 2 weeks early due to the virus, and Singapore airlines were brilliant at changing the flights. Even got upgraded to the extra leg room for free"
Khuyết điểm: "The extra leg room seats were naff, I like getting comfy in a chair and these ones were not. The screen was too far away and the arm rests didn’t move. Also, due to my partner having to swap seats, I was sat on my own next to strangers. They slept the whole way, so the crew never disturbed them meaning I missed out on food and drinks, even when asked"

The flight or them was last minute (booked less than 8 hours before take off) so there were no pre-planned kids meals etc. The in cabin team were awesome! They made sure they go a choice of meals, that they had things to do, that they were enjoying the flights. This on top of the usual awesome that they have."

The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

Ưu: "The crew of ladies and men where so very gracious and courtly, both to the passengers and each other. My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

Ưu: "Check in and boarding were flawless. The flight left about one hour late. The seats in coach are getting smaller and smaller. I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

Flight was fine but Kate Worse was having the booking bounced from one flight to another after having booked and paid

It helped that we were on an A380 and because of the lack of the plane being filled both my travel companion and I had 3 seats to ourselves to stretch out. In economy, without that, nothing would have made the trip bearable. That said, the food was good, the entertainment options good, and the after hours water/liquid/snack options were quite good."

It seem as if short flights are getting a raw deal with old planes and sub standard food, systems to save costs. If they cannot maintain a consistent level of standard across all their products let another provider in who can."

Making it all even later. No food offered for this quite expensive flight, only water, and no entertainment either."

They called "final boarding" at 6:35, just as we were wrapping up. I believe we were the last to board at about 6:35 or 6:40. Once we were on board the plane pulled away and departed a full half-hour before schedule. The early departure was welcome, but unexpected and made us feel more rushed than necessary without prior notice."

I suppose it was the weather, but a flight going to the same destination on the same airline managed to take off on time, and it was supposed to be leaving 40 minutes after my second flight. I have a hard time believing it was the weather, but who knows? There were absolutely zero gatw agents there to offer any helpful information. They eventually gave us food vouchers, but it was about 5 minutes after 90 percent of the applicable restaurants closed. Everyone on the flight was forced to eat at dairy queen, which quickly ran out of everything anyone wanted. I will never fly Vietnam Airlines again."

Food was a cold sandwich with water, juice or soda only, no alcohol available on the international flight. Overall, I would give this airline a "F" for failing to keep up with the standard of other airlines."

Khuyết điểm: "I received at least 4 emails from Vietnam Airlines prior to my visit informing me of changes in our booking. All added time to our layover in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh on our return. Once we arrived in Hanoi we were informed of 2 more delays in our departure. I am traveling alone with 3 children all under 12 yrs &I make a concerted effort to book flight with the shortest layover possible. What would have been a 10hr door to door travel time turned into 16 hrs. Needless to say, I will not fly Vietnam Airlines by choice again."

Khuyết điểm: "BUSINESS CLASS - After watching a YouTube video about PAL business class, my wife and I got sold to the idea of upgrading. We tried to do so on online check-in but the system wouldn’t allow us to change our seats. So we tried to buy the upgrade upon our baggage check-in but the attendant told us that we couldn’t for it is fully booked. We even tried to buy an upgrade to premium economy but was given the same answer. We told the attendant that it’s okay and thank you for checking. But as we were boarding, 3 people in front of us got upgraded to business class for free. This was very upsetting as there was no reason nor any explanation given to us. HOLDING GATE - On top of the above mentioned are the unorganized boarding. We were asked to scan our bags and our passports/boarding pass checked just to be at the gate. At the gate “holding area”, we couldn’t have water and there are no washrooms. If we wanted to have water or go to the washroom, we’d have to go out of the holding area and line-up and get scanned and our documents checked again. Mind you, this process was done already before entering the boarding area. PAL just redundantly did it at the gates. And there’s not enough seats for the waiting passengers at the gate. I saw people sitting down on the floor waiting for boarding. MABUHAY LOUNGE - My wife and I inquired about if we could buy access to the lounge but was declined. The reason given to us is that the lounge is only for business class flyers. There are no other lounge area in the Terminal 2. FOOD CHOICES - There are not a lot of food choices in Terminal 2. They have some for snacking but if you’re waiting or flight gets delayed, there’s a big chance that you’d end up eating the same food again. WILL I FLY PAL AGAIN? - My wife and I are frequent flyers. With all these reasons, until PAL get it together and do things the right way, we would not recommend nor fly PAL. Flight PR116 MNL-YVR July 22, 2018"

Ưu: "Left on time, super friendly staff which is rare in my other options (usa carriers), the only non stop flight without layover available to me, faster than before by an hour, food really pretty good for airline food and lots of it. Good entertainment options for no extra charge. Did not get nickel and dimed over crappy movies and a bag of peanuts like USA based airlines love to do. Will use again as usual."

Khuyết điểm: "Seats were very small. Think Asian size. I am 5foot 10 inches and it was a struggle to sit there for 3 hours. There is no tv on the plane. They want you to use your personal device which I would not do as this would drain my battery. There is no charging station on the plane. 3 out of the 4 PAL flights were delayed each by two hours or more. I would not take this airline again. I got a cheap fare of $600 roundtrip and now I know why it was so cheap. The airport in Manila is so shitty limited seating and limited choices of food."
Ưu: "On our return flight from Narita to Manila there was this family with 3 little kids and seating directly in front of us , the little girl cried the entire flight of 4 hours every 10 seconds and the mom didn't do anything to calm her , even wearing a headset I can hear the girl crying. The crew should have done something to seat them at the end but they were seated in the middle. Was so annoyed ! Flight attendant were slow taking our empty food tray. 1/2 hour later or more before they finally take it. No addt'l crew to give drinks after the meal."

Departure at your own time

The worst kind of budget airline. To be honest....the plane was not that bad. Would have been good to have some food choices and some water. What was by far the worse is the passengers/customers that this airline attracts. Coughing and spluttering all over one another with no masks. Just disgusting. Pay for a better carrier and get a better class of passenger.

Khuyết điểm: "Changed the time of my flight early by more than 2 hours, with no communication. I therefore missed the flight. I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!"
Ưu: "Except for a 1-hour delay, overall the flight was good, smooth and enjoyable. Loved the inflight meal. For the price we paid we got meal and 30kg baggage allowance, we thought that was just value for money. And they departed from KLIA and not klia2 which is more convenient."

Khuyết điểm: "Seems like Malindo is starting to degrading the service quality. The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad."

The legroom is spacious, the seat was comfortable and the cabin crew was awesome. Flight was on time, check in was acceptable (considering people travelling from Bandung has a lot of check in baggage due to shopping)."

Khuyết điểm: "No on-flight meal available to purchase. It's lunch time and the airline expected everyone had lunch before?!? 15 minute delay, understandable. Seat pocket was not cleaned, someone spilled chocolate drink before and the cleaning service missed to do the job."
