I confirmed the wheelchair option well advance before her travel date in Qatar Airways Web site. I got the confirmation also in the Qatar Airways Web site. I usually fly with my family as I have a big family with couple of children and elderly. I will never fly Qatar again, this was the 1st and the last fly with Qatar airways."

My overall experience on this flight from CAI-DXB on Emirates was great because of the wonderful crew, on top was their Supervisor/ Adel A.Hamid El-Hareth. On the contrary my decision after an experience with Emirates on board from DXB-LAX, was never to repeat it due to Crew Supervisor, she was British, she was there on board I guess to teach everybody disciplines with a tone !! Someone exceptional to meet once in life but it may bring you to a decision along with other factors not to fly again with Emirates to LAX. Ưu: "The staff at the check in counter at JFK was very friendly and accommodating, much like the crew on the flight. Boarding was orderly and efficiently executed, although some announcement about the 30-minute boarding delay would have been appreciated. Onboard the seating was quite comfortable compared with other airlines I have travelled on and the crew was exceptional in their service - really customer-focused. The meals were tasty with unlimited snacks and complimentary drinks. Generally, I would highly recommend this airline."

Few minutes later I made the same request to another waitress and she quickly provided me the non-egg breakfast."

I would like to suggest that a crew member should come out and organize the way people are going to be boarding. They can say something like, "seats # A-C can you place stand on the left and Busniness Class on the right" instead of having everyone crowd to the front and be pushing each other. Or have those rope lines like they do at banks and make the people form a line."

Khuyết điểm: "Emirates baggage on board policy is a bit strict compared to most of the other Asian and American flights I've been on. Usually I'm allowed a regular carry-on and a personal item (i.e., a small backpack), but Emirates was very strict on the personal items. Personal items are limited to only Business and First Class passengers. Also, they were extremely strict about the size of my carry-on. As someone who has been on 20+ flights in this year alone, few of them being budget airlines (which are generally very strict), I had no issues whatsoever with the size of my carry-on until I flew with Emirates."

I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane."

The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well."

At the end of the day no Turkish airline associate was able to help us and had to buy another ticket with Emirats . Tar table customer service and just took our money regardless of us flying with you guys. Coming back my mother was sick and we tried to get our ticket dates increased but still wasn't able to and now my mother has to buy another ticket with another airline just because Turkish airline was the worse experience we have ever had and we always fly international ."

Although we had all been up from 5am to get to early morning flight and Tashkent air port has no services, stewardess ran out of coffee and repeatedly refused to get me, the person skipped, coffee, despite repeated requests for a first cup. Each time they refilled coffee, they started run from beginning of plane, and ran out by the time they got to the middle. Usually if someone gets skipped, they just go back and get a single cup, but this lady was determined not to. Never had this happen in 55 years of flying. Serious caffine deficiency."

However, we missed our connecting flight from Istanbul to IAD. But Turkish Airlines took care of us. Gave us hotel accommodation, food, etc. and even the visa fee. Also, being an elite member, was also able to use and enjoy the newly built CIP lounge at the Istanbul Airport while waiting for the flight to IAD."

After we were on the runway, we actually turned around and went back to the gate to let one sick passenger off. the flight attendants went up and down the aisles multiple times opening bins and asking people if the luggage was theirs or not before we could leave the gate again. It was really disorganized and bizarre. The flight itself was fine. The flight attendants weren't overly friendly, and they were missing during longer stretches, leaving passengers to find refreshments on their own. Beyond that, things were thankfully uneventful."
