Given we could not even take water brought in the airport into the plane there needed to be regular distributions of fluids on the flight as there was on the flight from London toy Singapore. After we went through the security check, we brought the liquid products back to the boarding pass counter, our baggage had already been sent to downstream. But the staffs was very helpful, they provided a box, packed the liquid products for us and checked it in as the second luggage. This solved our headache and it was a huge deal for us, making us smile. Thanks to your crew/staffs again."

Khuyết điểm: "There's only one down side of this flight. The Lucknow international airport terminal is downright embarrassing. There are four or five desks to handle passport control. That's fine, but none has a label on it as to who should be at which. NonIndians should go to the extreme left one. Then they have one xray machine that all arrivals have to put their carry-ons through while the previous flight is trying to put all their heavy luggage (they are most likely all male workers coming from the Gulf). Then there is a small, rickety belt with everyone crowded around for the luggage. Well, there are two belts, but only one is functional. And to top it off, most of the luggage carts have at least one broken wheel! Amazing and embarrassing when arriving from any terminal almost anywhere! Lucknow, you have a lovely domestic terminal, wake up and build an international one! Shurum ki bat ha!"

They seemed to have an attitude problem and not at al like Thai International who are excellent. will never fly again with Thai smile."

Flight to Yangon from Bangkok was cancelled and they didn't send any notification to inform us. Horrible customer service. When transferred the flight to Thai Airways flight we were very rudely treated by the counter agent. For 5 hours of wasted time they "accomodated" us with 350 baht ($10) vouchers and when asked to provide us with free extra bag check-in the manager said sorry we can't do that. No resolution no compromise NO SMILE! Above average airline price with terrible service, expect this to happen to you too."

The problem is there are many ways of travelling out of Thailand, and I frequently visit Cambodia and Thailand via bus. How could I produce a bus ticket which I usually buy only a week before departure?"
Khuyết điểm: "That was a bit of a rude shock, as I had never encountered such obstacles before, and most fortunately I did indeed have a reservation for a BKK-GVA ticket, or I would have been refused boarding. Apparently the Thai immigration authorities have a condition for Swiss citizens to possess an onward ticket before they can enter Thailand, but this is the first time an airline has applied this as strictly, and has been as insistent, as Cathay Pacific. I have been in & out of BKK hundreds of times, and this is the first time ever an airline has applied this rule to the letter. So, bottom line, never again will I fly Cathay Pacific."

You could only stand and charge and the plugs were all Hong Kong/English specific. Nothing universal about those plugs. I had to borrow an adapter to charge my laptop during the delay. The spicy fish dish tasted like it had been fouled during the delay. I like spicy fish generally but this tasted tainted."

They served me pork, whereas I eat a Hindu meal (No Beef and No Pork) They served the end part so late that by the time I could eat they were already descending, and they rushed me to eat. I couldn't eat it anyways except the fruits. No juice or water either was served."

I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Khuyết điểm: "Boarding process in HAN was very confusing: there was a change of gate announcement just when boarding was to start. Everybody went like crazy through the airport terminal looking for a Gate that does not exist. Followed by a counter-announcement. And then being bussed to the aircraft. People came on board up to the last minute... Arrival in SGN crazy for a different reason. All 300-some passengers were bussed again. Just that the ladders were not ready, and then whoever drove could not adjust them, and then the busses were not ready either. 25 minutes from landing to the luggage belts. Vietnamese airports need to work on their their procedures."
Ưu: "Vietnam Airlines has good leg room on both international and domestic flights. Blankets and pillows were preplaced on seats, as were headphones in the seat pockets. Lunch and one round of snacks were served. Beverages were offered a few times."

Some passengers complained about being hot, but flight attendant only pointed out the overhead gasper vents, which were obviously open but did little to help the sweating and general discomfort. No personal entertainment system, only drop down screens. Food was average."

Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

Ưu: "On its Airbus A 350 Vietnam Airlines recently introduced a new arrangement for the Premium Economy Section. This is the only aircraft used on the SGN-CDG line. Before they had a lay-out of 3-3-3 seats across, strictly identical with the Economy section. It is now 2-4-2, giving some more space to sit comfortably. All seats have now a fixed separation, with the possibility of placing a glass or other small objects on top of it; they look like a smaller version of the old Business Class seats. In the first row the design of the fold-up screens has been improved. Previously some invaded the personal space of the neighbour, as I had experienced last October (my knee still remembers it). Well done. Prem Economy is worth the difference in pricing."

Most of it was sent back as waste, because so many passengers (e.g. French) are accustomed to a minimalist continental breakfast. All this lavishness has disappeared now. While I understand the reason why, I wonder why they also eliminated the small portion of jam or jelly. Only butter is available to spread (spread?) on the tiny bun. It would be a nice touch to have also some jelly. Also during the night shift they used to offer some nice sandwiches to sleepless passengers. Now only pots of instant noodles are offered on demand. These pots are not well adapted for European passengers."

As a handicapped passenger they have the whole wheelchair routine down pat. I like this airline. The food is marginal and on the 1.5 hour flight I would discontinue food service.
