Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

Before the flight landed, the head flight attendant came to greet every passenger and personally thanked them for choosing JAL. I've flown on JAL several times and thus had never happened so I was pleasantly surprised."

Passengers on International flights going out of the Philippines are advised be at the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled flight. Well, the JAL check-in counter opened at 650AM for the 950AM flight (exactly 3 hours before the scheduled flight), with maybe some 50 people already in line. With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area."

The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Crew was apologetic but was offering me free drink (almost seemed like bribe). One of the checked bags torn when we collected it at LAX; Overall, pretty bad but most annoying is the fact that they nickel & dime for seat position and lot of families were spread all over (not just mine)."

The crew found me another seat and were extremely nice about it."

When we reacted and stood up, the flight attendant screamed at us and told us to sit down. Afterwards, the flight attendant asked us what was wrong and she had realized that the AC had leaked on us. All she did was put towels on our seat and walked away. For at least 10 minutes I had to raise a towel to catch the water from dripping onto our heads during lift off and landing."

Crew requires more training in upkeep of airplane on long-haul flights."

Khuyết điểm: "Temperature in AA cabins are 10 degrees or more colder than your competitors. Uncomfortably cold in AA flights. Recently I have flow, with spirit, Southwest, United, and Delta. In all those cases the cabin temperature was warmer than AA. I have to say as an exec plat, I wish AA would fix this issue. It is something that ER waiting rooms have adjusted and it has statistically shown to improve satisfaction scores."

The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

We were stuck on the tarmac for an hour. The seats were too crammed together and very uncomfortable for a 4+ hour flight. Food service did come through, but they were out of most things. It’s advertised you can buy a meal/snack/drink combo but the drinks did not come through at the same time and that was a mess. There didn’t seem to be any air vents above the seats so the flight was very stuffy. We will never fly Rouge again."

Ưu: "The staff and crew were just amazing, I traveled with my 83 yr old mom who's in a wheelchair and the staff was with us from arrival to boarding and once boarded, the air crew was helpful and checking up on her often during the flight. The plane was full load of people so it was really hot but the crew came by often with water refill. A lady besides me was coughing a lot and sure enough the stewardess came by with water and to ask if anything she could do without having been summoned. We rented tablets to see movies and I'm not very technological but the stewardess was very patient with me and took time to help me set up and she showed me how to go about in your application. The flights to and from Las Vegas were perfect and all thanks to the wonderful crew you have, even the pilot was standing at the entrance to greet us when we boarded which was great as I got to see who I was entrusting my life to during this 4h38 min flight, quite reassuring. Anyways, UA, Transat and AA take a back seat to Air Canada any day of the week!"

At the time of writing this, I haven't heard anything back from Air Canada on how they plan to reimburse me for the food, and travel to and from the to and from the Airport. Don't fly Air Canada! Hitch hike, it's more dependable than that trash airline"

She has had tests since we have been home and her doctor told us we made a good decision not to travel. She documented that for us as well. She wrote a note to help us recover our air fee or at least get a voucher...hoping they will change their mind."

Khuyết điểm: "Due to icy weather we missed our flight from Montreal to Las Vegas Wed Jan 4. Could they not have waited for the delayed flight from Ottawa to facilitate this connection? Many people had to wait overnight in the plastic airport chairs until the next flight at 8am Thurs Jan 5th. At that late hour could not the lights be slightly dimmed, the heavy beat pop music loop discontinued, and a dispensary machine with water, coffee or tea be in the departure area? There was none and the other shops had closed. It was overly bright, noisy and impossible to stretch out on the seats with rigid dividers."

Ưu: "The employees recognized our needs, were polite, accommodated easily to french or english, and even told people to clear the boarding area if it wasn't time for their zone to board (a major pet peeve of mine)."

Yeah, you can pay extra for an ipad or to get food, but for most decent flights these days you get at least something to eat for free. Especially on a 7 hour flight from US to CAN. My knees nearly touched the seat in front of me. It wasn't that small of a plane, i just think they really wanted to pack us in. If they removed a row or two and gave everyone just an inch more space how much would that REALLY set them back?"

Khuyết điểm: "I did not like paying for picking my seat. Back in the day if you booked your ticket you got to pick your seat, like first come first serve, without paying for it. Now, if you want to guarantee a window seat you have to pay for it. I only did it because my mom advised me to. And I did so because I always listen and respect her advice. It made for a good experience because i like looking out the window. However,I did not appreciate having to pay for it. I believe that since we incur a plethora of microcharges for everything on the plane ticket that it should include picking your own seat without a separate charge. It is likely a matter of time before we will be charged extra for salt on our pretzels."

I thought if there was not enough space for my on board belongings, it might be taken off and put as checked luggage, even though I met the on board requirements. There should be overhead space assigned to each seat...not first come first served..... that way people wound not take advantage of carry on allowances."

Though we had checked in online, it still took forever to check in at the counter as the machines could not print out the bag tags, then there was another line up for dropping off the bags. Those machines also could not read foreign passports though Canadian ones were fine. So we had to wait for our friends who were from overseas. The stewardess doing the announcements went so fast you could not hear her except for a few words, and she had a very strong French accent so it sounded like she was speaking in French all the time. But at least she was better than the pilot, whom we could not hear at all. The only word we heard was "cloudy"."

Khuyết điểm: "First, the departure gate was changed without any announcements, and I only noticed it because I stopped to look at and read it off one of the airport's electronic boards. Then, after I arrive at the (new) gate about 20 minutes later, they announce that the flight was to depart at the original gate, which turns out to be a mistake. Very disorganized..."

The son was becoming quite agitated because he did not understand what was going on and the gate staff person told the mother to keep him under control as if he wasn't there. It was poorly handled."
Ưu: "and I'm average height (5'10"). Flight boarded early and we were airborne by scheduled take off time. Fortunately, we checked at scheduled boarding time and made last call. Crew was friendly. Movies were OK. Mostly old hat. Bring your own I-pod. They only come around once with beverages so you have to ask."

While nothing eventful happened this flight, I felt all the small touches I've come to know about Air Canada are gone. I felt less like a person and more like cattle on this flight then ever before."
