Only 2 meals on a 16 hrs flight and they had few option for food and drink. Qty was not sufficient

Ưu: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."

Almost all of the those expectations were met. The toilets were extremely clean and the service of toothbrushes was the icing on the cake. For my meal I ordered Indian fish curry which could have been a little more spicy (I am Indian so I eat foods with many spices)."

A 13 hour flight must have roomy comfy seats . We were sardines in a can. Many of the passengers were overweight too which made them take more arm space. It was an uncomfortable flight.
Could organize boarding better
Kayak/Qatar Airways tore one of my bags. I'd like compensation for it. Also, the check in at Chicago was time consuming and tedious owing to RT PCR checking. That should be made more efficient. Likewise, the check at Mumbai airport.
Boarding in Lahore is slow

I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"

The passengers of economy class and business class were all stacked in the same space (it looked more of a hangar...) Access to this space was only possible by stairs (No elevator - No escalator !!) No drinks offered, not enough chairs to sit and wait......etc The main blame is to put on Geneva Airport Authorities. This airport is a total mess From the moment one arrives at the airport area (access - parking - ..) till the moment of boarding... It should be boycotted by major and quality companies such as Qatar Airways and many others."

Poor advert for Qatar, after nearly an hour of queuing I would think most passengers wished they had gone somewhere else."

(We were also woken up to serve dinner at 1am so that was incredibly inconvenient for an overnight flight) On top of that, I, as well as many others missed our connecting flight. Personally I missed my connection by 20 minutes, which seems a reasonable amount of time to hold a connecting flight with so many people from our flight on that next one. In missing by only 20 minutes, we have lost an entire day of our trip and are spending 9! hours in the airport today. There was no communication between flights clearly. Despite there being an earlier flight we could’ve been placed on after missing our connection - we did not get booked on this flight. I asked why and they just randomly placed people on random flights with no regard for when we showed at the desk. In this scenario, a first come first serve would have alleviated an absolutely awful experience. I will never fly Swiss Air again and will urge people I know to not fly this airline. The experience was extremely frustrating, the best response from an employee was “that’s all I can do for you” and I wish it on no one."

Khuyết điểm: "Boarding of the flight was delayed which impacted our arrival time in Zurich. I had a connecting flight- but so did at least 10 other Swiss flights at that time. The queues for customs were incredibly long and the only reason I made my flight was because I ran through the airport. I also had a challenging time with food. I am celiac and often cannot eat the standard fare on planes. I called in advance of my flight to notify someone of my allergy - and they told me the only way I could ensure such a meal was by purchasing a meal that cost $30. I was not willing to pay such a hefty surcharge for food because I had already payed a bit extra than budgeted because my partner had recommended the excellent service of Swiss. I have traveled on several airlines for intercontinental flights between Boston and Europe - and have always had my allergy accommodated at no extra cost. Once on the flight - I was offered an orange and banana for dinner and a small yoghurt for breakfast. I will be flying Swiss again in December and I sincerely hope they will be better equipped to provide for my dietary requirements."

So was my husband, but he wasn't told of this until he Was boarding and his ticket beeped on scanning. There was no room for our carry on, because we boarded so late. Annoying."

For example: The crew seemed tentative and untrained. Saw the crew once between the meal at beginning and the meal at the end. I wonder where they can hide for so long on a small plane? Too many announcements by the Captain -- shut up and fly the damn plane! Ưu: "Great entertainment center. Complimentary alcohol and snacks. All this masks the torture of sitting in a way -too-small seat for 11 hours plus."
Ưu: "At Montreal I was made to go through the customs, exit the airport, get the boarding pass, go through security check again. I was subjected to unnecessary hassle as Air Canada did not issue me boarding pass for the section of Motreal to Zurich at Los Angeles airport. Had I known that I have to come out of the airport, I would not have bought this ticket. Hopefully same ordeal is not repeated while returning from Zurich to Los Angeles via Montreal on June 30, 2016. There was a long queque at Montreal to board the place as it was not organized in zone wise."
Khuyết điểm: "not enough leg room with black metal boxes where our feet should go! food was discraceful, especially coming from italy, the calzome was an insult. i dont expect gourmet, but this was inedible. the rest of the meal was also not good. seats were visibly discolored because old and icky. old plane, really loud engine background noise. . . staff seemed unhappy. I think as a rule that if the staff notices some uncourteous person reclining completely in coach and there is someone behind them, especially if it is a person with longer legs, that they might nicely suggest to that reclining person that they are rude and should recline less. the staff on this plane did nothing of the sort for several violators of this type"

Khuyết điểm: "This is not about airlines, but about passengers. All airlines should prohibit passengers to use fragrance. This lady who flew next to me, had strong perfume and it felt like she used half of the bottle, cause it was impossible to breath."

Khuyết điểm: "I picked a window seat very early on through a phone call to a Turkish Airline agent in the USA, but when I checked in online, the seat assigned to me was gone and I was put in a middle seat while there were many other seats available. This erasure of the record and random seat assignment nullify the effort on the part of the passenger (making a call is not a trivial act these days because of the long waits) and generate uncertainty in the minds of the travellers. Hope you can improve on this point. That will make an even better impression on the passengers."

Khuyết điểm: "My flight tonight (0078) from MIA to Istanbul was delayed by over 5 hours. I am traveling with an infant and it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to help us. Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

We got there safe and on time...what more do you need? Oh, and the price for my route was amazing; the next airline was $1000 more and the one after that $2000 more."

The airline took no responsibility and refused to help with a hotel for a 15 hour layover in Istanbul. Their customer service people are rude and extremely unhelpful, doing nothing but telling us we should have flown in a day later for a shorter layover. Seriously?? Totally unacceptable."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight left late from Marseille, further diminishing the 4.5 hours I had to catch a flight on another carrier. The flight circled the destination and was then diverted to the second Istanbul airport, where we refueled and waited for another hour. People from the back of the plane rushed to the front of the plane while we were still taxiing on the runway at Ataturk, all to get to the front of the line. The crew was passive the entire time. Upon exiting we were herded onto busses (thus taking away the supposed advantage of those rushing the front). When finally in the terminal, I had to go through customs, purchasing a visa (for a country I did not want to visit at the time), and reclaim checked bags. I proceeded to the other carrier's counter, to be informed that the gate for my flight onward was closed. As the ticket was "promotional" I lost that ticket and had to purchase another - on Turkish! Also had to spend a night in a Turkish hotel, also on my dime."

Khuyết điểm: "There was no food offered for this 80 minute flight, and the only drink offered was a choice between cold water and s Coke-like soft drink. I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"
Ưu: "The Premium Economy section is relatively small, and quiet. At check-in, I was attributed a window seat, and the section was fully packed. The company went out of its way to give me an aisle seat. A window seat would have resulted in a badly hurting elbow. The seats in Economy Premium are OK, nice pitch and width : 2+4+2, instead of 3+3+3 in Economy."
Khuyết điểm: "The seats in Economy Premium have a foot-rest, that is badly designed and badly kept. Nothing to do with the kind they have in Business class. Push the button, it will spring up. This is OK for short people with short legs, like average Vietnamese customers. It is a pain for taller people with longer legs. It takes a lot of strength to push the footrest into its former position. In my seat, two attendants came to my help and could not do it. Something apparently was broken. I spent 13 miserable hours without being able to find a comfortable position for my legs. I strongly suggest to Vietnam Airlines get rid of the footrests altogether, or find an easy-to-manage model."

Khuyết điểm: "As we were boarding from the gate to the plane, we were stopped by crew to ask how pregnant we were. With a tired, grumpy 2 year old, we had to dig through our carry-ons to find the form we had just filled out at the check-in counter. Totally unprofessional and disorganized."
Ưu: "Overall my experience was good. Pros: seat are comfortable. The jet seemed more spacious than ANA airlines. Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight was scheduled to depart at 7:15 pm. We decided to grab a quick bite to eat before boarding. Our boarding pass indicated that boarding would begin at 6:45. They called "final boarding" at 6:35, just as we were wrapping up. I believe we were the last to board at about 6:35 or 6:40. Once we were on board the plane pulled away and departed a full half-hour before schedule. The early departure was welcome, but unexpected and made us feel more rushed than necessary without prior notice."
Ưu: "For flying overseas the airplane was old and uncomfortable. I've flown overseas before and the seats have been a lot more comfy. The crew was fantastic and the food just crappy like any plane food."

Ưu: "The Air France business lounge that Vietnam Airlines use in CDG Airport was excellent. Lots of space a good selection of food. The airline staff where all wonderful and food on the plane was delicious. I like the sleeping pods. Very private and comfortable."

At about 3:15pm they announced the flight was canceled due to a mystery mechanical issue and they re booked everyone on to the 6:10pm flight, which miraculously had enough empty seats to accommodate everyone. The 6:10 flight left about 15 minutes late, and still had plenty of empty seats."
Khuyết điểm: "I am average height for a male and my femur bone was the exact length between seats - my knees were jammed against the seat in front of me. Not a comfortable flight but at least it was short."
