Khuyết điểm: ""Customs" at JFK came to an entire halt. All passengers where stuck in the welcome hall for 1h, without any information, why held there and why nothing was moving forward. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."
Ưu: "This time I made the mistake of flying with my kids (4 and 6). The flight or them was last minute (booked less than 8 hours before take off) so there were no pre-planned kids meals etc. The in cabin team were awesome! They made sure they go a choice of meals, that they had things to do, that they were enjoying the flights. This on top of the usual awesome that they have."

We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

One of my favorite things about this airline is that snack and juice are readily available throughout the entire flight without bothering the flight attendants, say in the middle of the night. This includes fresh fruit and juice, which in my book is a huge plus. Their bathrooms are always clean and include extra cosmetic amenities."

Also I was disappointed that I could not continue the same movie on this flight, as my previous flight, despite both flights being Singapore Air and using the KrisWorld entertainment system. I think the movies should be the same on each flight. However, the wide selection was great and I watched something else instead and really enjoyed the music selection."

Didn't get seats together with my wife. It was a 3-3 seat configuration. No empty seats and I ended up sitting behind my wife, in the middle seat. So no window or aisle for either of us. :("

Last year we flew business class Cathay pacific from Hong Kong to Melbourne and loved it. This year we decided to fly from Melbourne to Dusseldorf and then from Frankfurt to Melbourne with this airline. Won't be doing that again. Why pay business class fares to be disapointed"
Ưu: "Travelling with a 1 yr old, the extra leg room and space in the bassinet seats was appreciated. Service and help from staff was outstanding. Recommend for travelling with young children. Minimises the pain!"

Don't let people bring 2 large bags EACH onto flights. Bring a garbage bag around instead of a tiny 5 inch X 5 inch tray when you are collecting 100s? of people's garbage. When departing a plane, I never have seen so much trash and nonsense all over the floor. Bringing a garbage bag around would definitely eliminate a majority of that, the tray was extremely impractical for such a large amount of passengers."

Well done! By making my kids journey a memorable 1, they made my journey very comfortable and memorable too."

One woman didn't even look at me, she was just on her phone playing a game. Every step of the process they asked me how I could have missed the connection....it landed 20 min before the next one took off!!!"

Khuyết điểm: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

He even passed my row and did not serce us and I had to ask the steawrd of the other aisle who was very friendly and nice. I was very desappointed by his behaviour. It was my first time on Turkish Airlines."
Khuyết điểm: "The airline lost our luggage and still has not been able to locate it. In this time with all the technology it is quite disappointing that it’s been over a week and still no response. We have conveyed the seriousness of the matter to the Airline but still no response. Very disappointing experience."
Khuyết điểm: "The flight to Lviv was cancelled after 3 hours delay. All happens in life. But the only option Turkish airlines were offering is to fly the next day. I was flying to the funeral and this was not working for me (especially this was their second flight to Lviv cancelled - 2 in a row). The transfer desk didn't inform that there were two other flights going the same day of other airlines. When i approached to help me to go with a different airline the personal was very rude saying they will not help transferring the luggage and that they can't unload the luggage sooner than 3 hours after you go out of the security and passport control. When i asked to book to a different destination in Ukraine. It took 50 min at the desk to do it. Simply because 4 people at the desk were laughing and joking and nobody was concerned about the queue of over 40 people staying. After 30 min it turned out they've lost my boarding pass and it took 15 min to find it as one of the transfer guys managers simply took it to a different room... At the end when they found it it took only 5 min to do the work. I would appreciate more information from the desk about available flights and more support to manage the situation. I'm happy that people at the transfer desk are so joyful and happy it obviously helps to deal with the stressed passengers whose flight was cancel."

Also, flight attendants did not request people to sit up during meals which made eating very difficult in my case. 3. Bathrooms were very dirty during the last 1/3 of the flight and remained so, including no toilet paper and paper towels. 4. No second serving for refreshment beverages during flight."

Khuyết điểm: "After having booked an aisle seat near many family members I was traveling with, a Turkish airlines crew member came and asked me to move seats so as to accommodate a couple that wanted to sit together. I willingly gave up my seat to allow this. The crew didn't have another seat in mind, however, and I spent several minutes simply waiting in the aisle before they shuffled me to the front of the plane and made me sit in a much worse seat--a middle seat nowhere near any of my family members, nestled next to a large man who was clearly extending well into the seat they meant for me to take. It was clearly a terrible seat and I made the following 12 hour flight in significant discomfort. I was very dissatisfied with the crew's behavior. When a passenger books a comfortable seat near my family, and willingly gives it up to accommodate other passengers, they should not be treated so poorly"

In addition, when I approached the ticket counter to inform them of the delay cutting close to my connecting flight, the response is "you're fine...you'll make it". During the deplaning process no announcement to have those with critical connecting flight was made to expedite the process."

Khuyết điểm: "We went through an additional 6 security check points between our connecting flight from Italy, after they said we wouldn't. I understand the precautions flying into D.C., however there was no posting of this, and they wouldn't let us use the bathroom at the airport. Also, the plane was very hot with little air flow. Loud crying children coughing everywhere, fresh air would be nice for the 11 hour flight."

Khuyết điểm: "Boarding in Istanbul and Tel Aviv was chaotic, no business class boarding. Checking laptop in Istanbul was inconvenient. Lounge Istanbul was awesome however way too crowded to fully take advantage of it. Also should control people and what they takfor food. The lines were long and people would literally pile their plates with massive amounts of food, take it to their seat then leave it. Fix the lockers and add more, they are a wonderful asset but I was not able to take advantage of. Consider limiting access to manage crowds."

Ưu: "I got a special meal -- Asian Vegetarian -- and it was delicious. I have also had the regular Vegetarian on other Turkish Air flights and they have been great too. So congratulations on good food! I just have one suggestion about the food: Just because someone is vegetarian, it doesn't mean that they don't want dessert! I notice that where others have chocolate pudding, for example, I get fruit. I like fruit... but a piece of cake or some other sweet is good too!"

Khuyết điểm: "The Tel Aviv airport check in is a nightmare!! We were there 3 hours ahead of our flight and the line would not move. Finally made it to the front 20 min before our flight!!! The people in the check in bags did not care if we missed our flight, was very rude and sloooooowwww!!! I have been to many airports and this is by far the worst! I had to run to my gate and ran into another check where they let me pass bc my flight was about to close! Made it 2 minutes before the bus left! Nightmare!!!"

Khuyết điểm: "Worst customer service. Very uncaring and rude. Worst airline I have seen and I have traveled with many. Had doubts about using Turkish and a little less expensive ticket turned out to be the most expensive in many ways. Went to the gate 17 minutes early and the agents and the plane was there but was refused entry and was lied and told to go to gate 215 and missed the flight even though there were empty seats on the plane. Asked for help at the other gate but was given the run around and ignored by everyone and told to go to gate 214. After I went to gate 214 was told to go to customer service lower level. Turkish airline supervisor Mustafa Bogaz at Istanbul customer service held a grudge because I was upset and yelled at one of the supervisors and he told Mustafa and everyone not to help me and wanted to get back at me and said penalty in front of me to the customer service member I was speaking with. Mustafa lied and would not put me on a connecting flight and said I had to pay penalty and wait 24 hours. Told me to go to customer service outside the airport and would not call them after I told him I was ready to pay for a connecting flight and could not wait 24 hours and needed to go to work. Even though an American citizen was told needed a visa after waiting 1 hour in line and had to pay to exit the airport. The machine didn't work and the credit card was refused. Got stuck at the airport for 24 hours and missed work and a family event. Turkey is a hell hole and nothing works. Will never visit again. Mustafa 6 hours later was still holding a grudge and told another customer service member in Turkish in front of me to lie to me and say there was no emergency aisle seat available for the flight the next day. Got an emergency aisle seat the next morning when Mustafa wasn't there. Everyone in the customer service team including other supervisors took Mustafa's side and would not help me and lied. Everyone had no compassion and held a grudge."

Ưu: "Turkish Airlines has some of the best amenities of any airline: great meals (and often), clean planes, plus two free checked bags for flights between Middle East and USA."
Khuyết điểm: "The plane was overbooked with MANY seats having been doubly assigned. After more than half an hour we were given a new seat assignment (in first class! Business class had already been filled with other double bookings!). They did their best to accommodate everyone though and the remainder of the flight was very pleasant."
Ưu: "The food was good, the drinks were great, the stewardesses were professional and helpful and the entertainment system was really good, lots of movies. We got there safe and on time...what more do you need? Oh, and the price for my route was amazing; the next airline was $1000 more and the one after that $2000 more."

I asked the Turkish airline representative at the gate if my bag is on the plane. He said "yes". When I arrived to London I couldn't fibd my bag. I spent more than an hour looking for it since the employee assured me it was loaded to the plane, the person who was waiting to pick me yo had to pay around 15£ parking and wait for one hour and a half. I arrived without luggage. I have everything in the bag, my umbrella, jacket, cloths, pajamas, underwater, everything... the allowance that Turkish Airlibe said they will give allowed me to only buy a Pajama. I am totally NOT satisfied. I will not travel on this Airlibe again"

I double checked several times before proceeding. At the check in counter, guess who had to pay extra because apparently the 40 kgs did not go through."

Ưu: "After dozens of flights finally left and arrived on time. Actually had a jetway at manila too! Was seated in premium seats row 2 ...what a difference cimpared with the crapoy cramped rows in the back!"

No display in terminal where to check in on an International Flight. Charged us to check one bag each and would not allow us to carry it on although the same bags were allowed as carry on from NGO-MNL Were told by one person we could checkin for our flight, told were we’re at wrong counter and international counter was not open yet. My checked bag was ripped open somewhere in the process of being transported!! I don’t think I will fly this carrier ever again!"

The personnel for Cebu Pacific at the Denspar airport were borderline hostile, racially discriminating and nasty. If you’re airport employees were half as good as the in-flight attendance I would fly with your company again as of right now you couldn’t pay me to get on your airplane."

Ưu: "Cebu pacific is one of airlines who prescribe to a pay as you go additude. Be prepared to pay for everything after you pay for your ticket 7kg carry on max limits pay for the food you may or may not eat, and if you get cold easily bring warm clothes. No joke this was the coldest airplane I have ever been on in my 15 years of travel, so cold in fact that upon taking off you can hear the ice crystals breaking loose and traveling through the air system. I am going to say that the plane was in good condition and the flight attendants and pilot crew seem to be well trained as well as very polite."
