For the long haul flight from Boston to HongKong, they let all families with children (including us) board earlier, which not all airlines do, and which was much appreciated. It wasn't as big of a deal for the HongKong to Taipei puddle jumper. Crew was very attentive, responding rapidly to calls and rebooting the entertainment system when needed. They were also quick with providing water and ramen noodles when we needed them. Seats were OK, a little short on leg room on the 777, better on the Airbus 350's. In flight entertainment options were very good for the adults, decent for the kids (they seemed to be struggling to find things to watch)."

Everyone should be able to check one bag for free and anyone who brings more than real carry on should be charged a fee. It would speed up onboarding and off loading and would not create the danger of suitcases falling on people's heads when they are put in the overhead bins."

The staff on the first flight was extremely rude and unhelpful, and refused to let me eat any of the extra meals. Making matters worse, I had asked customer service when I called if they sell food on the flight, which I was told yes. This turned out to be untrue. I had to survive the 14.5 hour flight by only eating 3 tiny bags of pretzels. I sent an email to customer service to complain about this (can't do this over the phone), and didn't hear back for more than a month. On my return international flight, I was AGAIN signed up for the wrong meal (vegan) even though I specifically went over my dietary preference (vegetarian, eats eggs and dairy). Then my luggage was left in Vancouver while I made my way to Sydney, so I had to wear the same clothes for over 72 hrs while the airline "apologized" with giving me only $50. I finally got someone to respond to my complaints when I tweeted them, and their response was that I selected the vegan food option...NOPE, and that's not an apology. I will not fly them again. (PS: they don't give eye masks or toothbrush/toothpaste on international flights even though other airlines do, and their selection of movies/TV shows is about half of other airlines)"

You need a mobile or device with he app already installed. And even so the movies and shows are outdated and not very entertaining at all. On top of that, both legs of my flight my outlet was not working and not charging my device. Air Canada rouge- never again!"

Air Canada didn't have another flight until the next day, so we had to spend $5000 to re-book our flight on a different airline."

Khuyết điểm: "I was BUMPED not just on the flight I had booked and payed for a month in advance But I was at the airport 2 hours before my scheduled departure. I had to wait for available seat on the 3rd!!! flight out after mine."
Ưu: "The on board crew was excellent - very patient and forthcoming. I could not say the same thing about the ticketing agents or the boarding procedure."
Khuyết điểm: "The seating on on this plane was the most uncomfortable I have experienced in a long time - with the exception of my outbound flight which featured the same type of plane. Air Canada tries to charge you for every little thing and I guess that I am one of those people that does not appreciate being nickled and dimed. I will look for other airlines the next time I book a flight to Canada. What a disappointment!"

Khuyết điểm: "No movies or muisc on the plane. No snacks to eat on the plan journey. No entertainment at all!!"
Ưu: "In spite of the issues with the equipment (screens & lights) he crew was very reactive and listen to our request."
Khuyết điểm: "The screens of an entire row didn't work at all making it impossible to watch movies, listen to music or watch the flight's info. On top of that, when I wanted to read, I figured the light above my seat did not work either."
Ưu: "Arrived safely and on time."
Khuyết điểm: "Cabin crew seemed too much like salespersons. Aircraft was overly air conditioned but blankets were available only by purchase"
Khuyết điểm: "Cancelled flight and didn't even tell me a reason. They couldn't even make reservation for hotel. Hotel sent me back to airport because i didn't have voucher which AIr Canada guys said they can't make one? Everything didn't make sense. And they told me not to come again. They took like... whole day to book another flight. And i had hard time understanding what they were saying."

Khuyết điểm: "In Toronto they told us that we most likely will miss our flight. Why?? Plenty of time!! No need for miss information. Ground crew not well trained.No boarding pass was given (which is fine). 1 hour wait because of power failure at the airport in Montreal and then we are about to take off and there was an engine failure so we had to come back again . Not good stuff!!!! How would you feel flying again air canada?"
Ưu: "Once again, attendants were pleasant. Plane was clean"
Khuyết điểm: "No snacks served, only beverages. We could have at least received one bag of nuts/chips for the flight."
Khuyết điểm: "seats to close together very uncomfortable"
Khuyết điểm: "Served dinner too late. Only one beverage offer on a 6 hour flight. My companions luggage was lost and it took CA more than 48 hours to deliver. Won't be seeking travel on AC anytime soon."
