Pressing my 'attendant button' my light was lit for 10 minutes before a crew member noticed. My first trip on Singapore, my expectations were not met. Shame"

Ưu: "I flew round trip on their flagship Airbus 380 from Toronto to Dubai, about 13-14 hours. Crew was great, plenty of food and drinks, about 3x meals, lost track of how many drink runs, maybe 5x. It was almost too much food & drink! The in-flight entertainment was great, touch screen was fantastic, USB port, even power outlet, on back of seat, plenty of entertainment choices from movies, to video games, to trivia, I even got a kick out of all the camera's mounted on the outside of the plane with all the flight tracking details available on screen, plenty of bathrooms. Its such a big plane it didn't even feel like you are flying. I'm 6'4" so I always choose an aisle seat so i can at least stretch one leg out, the crew was even mindful not to bump my elbow or even my leg when it was extended out into the aisle while i was asleep...which was more than accommodating to something I shouldn't have been doing! Overall Excellent, I wish every airline was like Emirates. They're bringing back the old school service and class airlines used to be like. I know people don't dress up while they air travel anymore, but I'll be dressing up the next time I fly Emirates! ;)"

Ưu: "So, as mentioned, this was our first time flying Emirates and from our flights from Maryland to Dubai to Philippines has been pleasant, the only issue we've had was with the security process and an incident that my wife encountered in Dubai when we were in the process of boarding to go to Washington Dulles. We landed in Dubai and we were in transit to our connecting flight. We went to our assigned gate and had to check in with security prior to waiting in our gate or boarding the plane. We checked in our electronic devices and my wife was asked to be checked. There wasn't anything wrong up until that moment. My wife cooperated with all the requests of the security agent. They asked her to go inside a security room/enclosed area and the first thing that the security agent asked my wife was why she wasn't wearing her wedding band. It was obvious that she was married because she had a tan line of the marks of wearing a ring. It was her travel ring and she removed it because it was too tight and she explained that to the agent. The agent then made the comment "so you got fat on this trip?". My wife was confused on what she said and asked her "what did you say?". The agent then repeated ..."So you're fat... that's why the wedding ring doesn't fit?" My wife was furious but maintained her cool because she didn't want to give a reason for her to be held from getting on the flight. I didn't see the situation take place and I don't know if there was anything that triggered her comment. My wife felt humiliated. I don't know the agent's name but I wanted to address the incident. Our experience with Emirates has been very pleasant but having to feel helpless after someone with authority to make that comment was humiliating and ruined the rest of her time on the flight as well as mine."

I saw that they really worked hard to help me! I am extremely grateful and impressed! I will forever LOVE Turkish airlines!"

Still don't understand why the Istanbul-to-IAD flight is scheduled to be an hour and a half longer than the IAD-to-Istanbul leg was. Apparently there was no effort to make up lost time, so our scheduled 7:10pm arrival was after 8pm. Pasta dish was clearly supposed to be a hot meal, but it was cold when served."

I have been traveling for 30 years and tried almost all airlines, but the Turkish Airline office at Cairo Airport ranked the poorest I have ever seen. The disorganization was as if they do not know what to do. First they said the plane arrived late, then they said there was a bird hitting the engine. The excuses were so laughable beyond belief."
Ưu: "Our flight from Zanzibar took off 40 minutes late and we made up no time in the air. We arrived at the Istanbul airport 20 minutes before our next flight was supposed to take off. Of course the gates were nowhere near each other so we ran as fast as we possibly could to catch our next flight. When we finally got to the gate, the employees were so kind to rush us through each step of security and get us to the door and there had to be at least 7 or 8 people who were working and doing whatever they could to get us on that flight. It meant so much! We had been up since 2am to catch our previous flight and just wanted to get home to our families and dogs! We were so grateful they worked so hard to get us on the plane!"

The food on both legs of my flight (New York to Istanbul to Nice and the return) was actually very good -- this was the second time I've flown on Turkish Airlines and I look forward to flying again."

Ưu: "The food and entertainment system was excellent. The headphones were painful after a movie. But you can link personal headphones into the adapter which is providex."
Khuyết điểm: "The airplane didn't seem as clean as expected. The crew was adequate but not around between the main meals."
Ưu: "I find the airline crew nice and accomodating. The food was fairly good compared to other airlines."
Khuyết điểm: "The seats are very tight and does not leave much comfort. This is of course economy but new fleet of other airlines have a slighty added leg comfort."
Khuyết điểm: "I felt like there was no room at all. Everyone was crammed in and there was no space to move."
Ưu: "Very friendly and attentive flight personal. Meal was excellent. Although a flight passenger is able to order a special meal, like vegan/vegetarian, etc. I was too late with that and still received a almost vegan meal."
Ưu: "The in-flight service to Istanbul was good."
Khuyết điểm: "Once we landed at Istanbul the wheelchair service was very poor. The person in-charge was rude,did not care to provide ride to bathroom or to buy water, There was no water or bathroom nearby. The flight to Amman was cancelled/delayed. First we were told it was cancelled and would be put up in a hotel, but on the way the wheelchair driver was asked to return to office and drop us at a gate. At this gate the departure time kept changing every hour or so without any plane at the gate, or staff. This lasted till next day about 3 PM. For this long period There was no water. The was no assistance to bathroom or food or water. All the passangers were upset. They organized and went to talk to the Airline personnel. They returned frustrated since none of the Airline staff knew anything."

Khuyết điểm: "The way they collect trash in the plane after serving food looked a little primitive. The crew walks around without trash bags and picks up passengers' trash and just stacks them on their arms or on their cart. I have traveled with BA many times in the past 40 yrs, and i don't remember this scene. Either I was not paying attention, or this is the new policy???!!"
Ưu: "Staff was great. Good experience for our first overseas flight"
Khuyết điểm: "was a packed old plane. It left nearly 2 hours late without any proper explanation food was awful the service was dull. It was a very bad experience overall and checking in and making my reservation was bad because all the information BA already has about me I had to re-enter including my passport."

Khuyết điểm: "Delays in the food service occurred because the credit card machine stopped working. Rather than stop the purchase food options they continued which meant they could only reach row 16 by the time our flight began its descent. Since were in row 19, we were not offered any food or water, during lunch."
Ưu: "Check-in staff was great at LHR - they were able to configure our seating so that the seat was empty between us."

Khuyết điểm: "You get onboard and they do not even serve you water!!! You have to pay for even water!!! I was thirsty during the 2 hour long flight and really PISSED!!!"
Ưu: "Very special kind flight attendant went out of her way to help us catch our connecting flight."
Khuyết điểm: "Not even a drink of water for free on this flight. You can buy snacks and drinks however. No leg room."

Ưu: "Because someone was sitting in my seat, I was moved to one near the exit which has more legroom, without having to pay £28. The flight was on time and we were kept well informed of some chaos that was happening around push back."
Khuyết điểm: "The atrocious check-in process - why only 24 hours or less? Why are you always allocated a seat between other people. Why is it almost impossible to change that? - oh yes, because BA want you to pay a premium to avoid the hassle."
Ưu: "British airways have always been good and my best airline to fly."
Khuyết điểm: "This occasion, the manager was So rude to me and even called me a liar in front of too many people. I don't speak or understand French and the woman really embarrassed my life. I checked-in online before I got to the airport and I mistakenly went to terminal 1 instead of terminal 2. So by the time I realised and got to terminal one, the baggage collection stand had closed because I was there by 15:18. To make the long story short, I got through the security where I was delayed for 20mins searching through my things and when I asked about time, the security said the flight won't leave with out me and they would inform them about the delay before I get to my departure gate. Anyway, I got to the gate with some time left and this extremely rude woman whom I was told is the manager insulted the living day light out of my life and turned me back. So I didn't fly with BA in the end. No matter the situation and despite me being late, I believe things would have been handled better. And even if the manager felt I was lying, she should have been more diplomatic about it and speak to me in a good manner. I won't be recommending flying BA from Nice to anyone. That woman was so hurrible, that experience haunts me psychologically."

Ưu: "I liked arriving safely at my destination despite a delay due to atc strike. Thank you BA pilots for doing a great job. Not to mention politely letting passengers come view the flight deck during the delay to ease the boredom."
Khuyết điểm: "When kindly asked a question by me, one of the staff didn't understand and instead kept insisting we didn't need a landing card (we did). Tried to rephrase the question and she persisted without trying to understand, rolling her eyes and swearing under her breath. Oh, and did I mention the part where we had to pay for our checked bags again? 75€ per bag. For me and my wife, that's the equivalent of a third ticket for our flight. May as well had our luggage fly next to us. So rude staff and exorbitant pricing for things that somehow weren't logged through third party. Cheers! (Sarcasm)"

Qhen we went to board the shuttle bus to the tarmac we were.pullednout of the.line and made to wait 25 minutes and ended up.being the last people to board. We arrived at the airport 2 hours in advance and cpuld have handled this in.advance if we had been notified properly. The BA employee checking us in didn't care that he pulled us and made us wait.... we were very unhappy as to how this was handled."

Khuyết điểm: "The metal boxes below the seats mean that the little space allowed to a person is now all the more clipped. My backpack wouldn't even fit under the seat. My knees are already pressed up against the chair in front of me, now there's nowhere for me to stuff my feet even."
Khuyết điểm: "We missed our connection flight, to make things worst, we had to wait 3 1/2 hours standing in line just to speak a British airways staff because many of the desks were empty and half the desks were catering to first class and business class passengers"

Paid for seat even when I checked in 24 hours before the flight no airline charges a fee once it's check in time for a regular seat and luggage was also more expensive at $45 usually $25. I also arrived early and wanted to get on the earlier flight where here was room but they did not accommodate for free would have been $500 more"

Khuyết điểm: "There was a cabin crew memeber by the name of indont knke who was incredibly rude. Offensive. Never in all the flights have I expirenced such treatment. British airways has lost a customer."
Ưu: "Ear phones for those of us who did not bring any. Having a meal and drink available and at no extra cost."
Khuyết điểm: "Not knowing if I could get an extra drink after the food was served, would have been helpful. Snacks of chips, pretzels would be tasty. Offering more water or a larger container offered would help. Explaining how u have to get to the next terminal would help. Having to go to many shuttles is confusing."
Ưu: "Food, movies, crew were all great"
Khuyết điểm: "Sitting with not enough leg room for 12 hours. I am 6 ft tall, and I made it work mostly, but needed a neck pillow that I brought to fall asleep, and it wasn't for very long. Just feeling the pinch!"

Ưu: "Only 40 people on the flight. Fast flight Nice to Heathrow. Got in 20 min early. That is what happens when the flight is almost empty. But then we had to wind our way from Terminal #5 to #2."
Khuyết điểm: "No free food or drink. One guy on board could afford the 16£ champagne at lunch time. Must of had a craving."
Ưu: "Large, generous leather style seats. Snack was a half-baked buttered up ham & cheese croissant (don't expect french quality, it's sustenance only) Crew was wonderful with fixing us a tea & shortbread when we asked for it while on ground"
Khuyết điểm: "Heavy fog on London pushed my Nice-Heathrow 2h back. They knew about it yet, let us board the plane more or less on time. Once on board they told us we'd stay on ground for 2h, and if anybody wanted to other plans on this new years eve, they had 5minute to get off the plane. I had only 2h transfer time in Heathrow and asked if I got off if I could be rerouted through another hub. The stewardess had no clue, but said this is usually dealt from London and they have more options there, so I staid in plane. It would have been better to know that in terminal where wifi was available and we could have BA customer service give us individual attention."

Khuyết điểm: "Flight was cancelled . And BA didn't manage it well for me . I am flying business . And have gold frequent flyer . And they offered cheap hotel by airport . Without even a shuttle to go to. I managed to go by myself . You have to stand on a line for an hour to get answers and another line with another 45 minutes to find solution. It's really bad ."
