I’m still not home! ChatDeal gave me a ticket on a flight that didn’t exist! They gave rebooked me, 2 days later, but still haven’t received ticket!
So little room; the lady next to me was squashing me in the middle seat.
Movie selections very poor. Lots of talk about social distancing before boarding and then in economy class we are packed in like sardines.
Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
The ac was too low. It was hot inside the airplane.

Food is probably the best I’ve had in the sky I like that they serve it in the morning instead at late night, lots of drinks to chose from. but the promised Haagen Dazs ice cream never came. Seat was very wide as it is 2-4-2 compared to 3-3-3 for all other Airlines’ 787, the IFE box makes the under seat storage slightly lacking. Touchless flush is a plus.
the biggest disappointments was, we were not informed of all the information we need, on our scheduled trip coming back to US.. We've tried a lot of times calling and send an email asking about any procedures that we might need to know upon our return trip, but unfortunately there was no response either at all. then came the horrific day of our return trip to US. after an hour and a half being in the long line, we are surprised when one of the airline staff announce that we need to prepare all documents needed including ANTIGEN TEST. This was the start of our horrific experience on that day. Were told different information from other sources, but heard nothing from JAL, as mentioned earlier that we tried calling them to ask for any info for our flight. Long story short as a result of this horrific misfortune caused by this airline, aside from the unexpected huge expenses that we incurred, as of this moment this problem is not yet resolve as we called them letting them of the situation happened to us in our recent Manila trip going to Seattle May 31, 2022.

The flight crew are great, boarding and staff at gate are meticulous and orderly. Comfort is good in economy, I'm 6ft and had decent room. The food is ok , it's a lot of little things that were fresh and different but not really a meal. My language is limited to English but for the most part I was able to communicate my needs thankfully to their understanding of English. I would fly this airline again I would think about the one step upgrade from economy if it was a busy flight especially over 5hrs .

Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore."

Given it is a Japanese airline and all, it is normal for them to be Japanese-centric. We had an a-hole sitting in front of us at 51F during our flight to Narita and he was trying hard to argue with us in English, and even told us to move to another seat. When I had the flight attendant (her name is Sako on flight JL736 on Jul 26) over to discuss (in English) she went to the guy in front of us and started apologizing to him. For what??? She then came back to us speaking in Japanese and brushed the issue away. Sorry, no this was not acceptable, even though my fiance was okay with the situation."

It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

In a long flight such as this was, it was obvious that they also tend to the comfort of the passengers by ensuring that the restrooms are always clean & presentable. Descent into Washington Reagan National freaked me out because the plane was flying eratically while being so close to the ground and recognizable landmarks."
Worst experience, slow boarding due to bus transports, crew are rude and flight was delayed for more than 1 hr and nothing was offered during the wait. One of my worst flights.
Airlines lost all my bags and is not being helpful at all in tracing them. Value of baggage is over $25,000. I expect a full refund and expect to be compensated for the loss.
Could organize boarding better

My other child is 1yr and 11 months and I was told they were only allowed baby food not a child meal. Although there were a few spare seats on the plane I was squashed into a full row with a 3 yr old and one year old on my lap. I appreciate that there may not have been any bassinet seats left but would have been helpful not to be on a full row as a single adult travelling with two small children. No offers for assistance with bags."

Then we were at the airport until 1:00 am getting a hotel voucher and re-ticketed. Unfortunately, instead of having a day in Honolulu to deal with jet lag before going on to San Diego, we lost our Hilton reservation in Waikiki. We ended up getting a direct flight to LAX and on to San Diego. I will say the crew attempted to work with us. Daniel made an executive decision and got us on United. But no stopover in Hawaii."

I will have to ask China Airlines to reimburse my Uber expenses."

Khuyết điểm: "Did not like baggage fees for flying with Ice Hockey Goalie gear. Was dinged a monsterous $634 for baggage fees due to being over weight and over size on my goalie gear. Really it cant be made any smaller or lighter. THEN DINGED AGAIN for sticks as an over sized item again ! WTF ! Most other airlines label it as sporting goods and I pay the overweight fee, usually $150 CAD. Not this airline ! I could have booked another person for return flight and only added $300 to my bill ! Supposedly, FAA is more strict going into the US. The supervisors in the Manila-Taipei (10:45AM Jan 3, CI702) were very petty and inconsistent. The laptop backpack and carryon bag were already weighed and they demanded to re-weigh them."

Ưu: "China Airlines has generally been a step above the average. The name is a bit represented as this is really a Taiwan Run and based airline that has been influenced by the western business practice."
Ưu: "The plane was very clean and new looking. Customer service from all employees was terrific."

Although I was unsure of some of the asian vegetables used, all of the meals had a delicious flavor and always came with a side of fruit, a little desert, and a bun. For those skeptical of airplane food, this was definitely a safe bet!"

The entertainment system while on flight was a bit out of date (quality of the screen was a bit poor), but they did have several good viewing options. I also found that all of the planes did not have a/c controls that you can automatically adjust."

In terms of safety measures and the boarding procedures KLM is excellent. The crew is polite and personable. The food options were limited (chicken or veg). Comparatively, Ethiopian Airlines still offers Beef, Chicken or Veg. The entertainment options could use more frequent updates. If you fly KLM frequently, you will easily run out of movies/series to watch. We are post pandemic but the budget cuts are still very present.
All but one of the flight attendants seemed like they didn't want to be there, and this was a 7:00 a.m. flight, so they should have been chipper and ready to start the day but instead were almost surly. In fact, one flight attendant seemed so annoyed that she had to clear people's trash after the in-flight drink/snack service that she was grabbing people's cups with such vigor that she spilled some of something on me, since I was sitting in the aisle seat. She didn't even notice (or care). They also didn't seem willing to help people. One guy was in a middle seat with a rather large person in the window seat, and he wanted to to move to another middle seat where he might have more space. The flight attendants just told him to wait until after takeoff and then look around himself and find himself another seat and ask the people in that row if it was ok for him to sit there. I would have expected the flight attendants to walk down the aisle, make note of the empty middle seats, and ask the people in those rows and then report back to the man asking to move. I mean, it doesn't make sense to make the passenger do all of this himself when he can't see down the length of the plane to find the empty seats. This was by far the most unpleasant flight crew I've flown with in a very long time. Not sure what Delta is doing to its flight crews, but they're clearly not happy to be working.
Flight departed and arrived late. Missed connection.
Although there was a big snafu with seating during onboarding, the staff did an excellent job maintaining a great attitude and professionalism. I believe they did a great job all through the flight. I appreciated their had work!

Too crowded. Stale almonds. Boarding very slow. Crew was friendly and helpful. Flight was smooth and uneventful.
The flight probably was alright, it's just that was unable to cancel /change my plans on the app, nothing easy about it. 1st time app user- negative experience

When I went to check in with Virgin Atlantic they told me to go to Delta. When I went to Delta they told me to go back to Virgin Atlantic. I wound up checking in with Virgin Atlantic. Everyone was very polite but check in was confusing. Everything else was wonderful. Cutomer service was great from beginning to end."
