I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Ưu: "There was a long line for the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh flights but with multiple counters devoted to this route alone we were checking in not long after having been dropped off at the airport. We were offered seats on an earlier fight which we eagerly accepted. Knowing that this route is often cited as one of the busiest in the world it was no surprise to find ourselves on a wide-body jet, Airbus 330-200 even on this 2-hour flight. A small snack was served. The flight was uneventful."

Ưu: "The flight on an A350 wide body was uneventful. I was in the "Premium Economy" section, which is sold as regular "Economy" for domestic flights. Excellent seating 2+4+2. The food was OK, not much to write home about, but they skipped coffee and tea because of turbulence (hardly perceptible)."

Everybody went like crazy through the airport terminal looking for a Gate that does not exist. Followed by a counter-announcement. And then being bussed to the aircraft. People came on board up to the last minute... Arrival in SGN crazy for a different reason. All 300-some passengers were bussed again. Just that the ladders were not ready, and then whoever drove could not adjust them, and then the busses were not ready either. 25 minutes from landing to the luggage belts. Vietnamese airports need to work on their their procedures."

Some passengers complained about being hot, but flight attendant only pointed out the overhead gasper vents, which were obviously open but did little to help the sweating and general discomfort. No personal entertainment system, only drop down screens. Food was average."

Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

Ưu: "On its Airbus A 350 Vietnam Airlines recently introduced a new arrangement for the Premium Economy Section. This is the only aircraft used on the SGN-CDG line. Before they had a lay-out of 3-3-3 seats across, strictly identical with the Economy section. It is now 2-4-2, giving some more space to sit comfortably. All seats have now a fixed separation, with the possibility of placing a glass or other small objects on top of it; they look like a smaller version of the old Business Class seats. In the first row the design of the fold-up screens has been improved. Previously some invaded the personal space of the neighbour, as I had experienced last October (my knee still remembers it). Well done. Prem Economy is worth the difference in pricing."
Khuyết điểm: "In Premium Economy Vietnam Airlines used to serve a lavish breakfast menu. Most of it was sent back as waste, because so many passengers (e.g. French) are accustomed to a minimalist continental breakfast. All this lavishness has disappeared now. While I understand the reason why, I wonder why they also eliminated the small portion of jam or jelly. Only butter is available to spread (spread?) on the tiny bun. It would be a nice touch to have also some jelly. Also during the night shift they used to offer some nice sandwiches to sleepless passengers. Now only pots of instant noodles are offered on demand. These pots are not well adapted for European passengers."

And music tracks should be in a tracklist form with song information, not only 1 hour-long tracks of back to back music (with no info). Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold."

Ưu: "I flew PAL 2 years ago and was impressed on this flight home. An awesome added feature that blew me and my 10 year old daughter away was the entertainment! My daughter is afraid of flying. But as soon as we boarded and saw this feature, she completely forgot about her fear. She was so pre-occupied during entire flight to Manila that I was able to relax and enjoy the trip myself. There was a great selection of movies available that almost made me wish the flight was longer so I could watch more! The USB charging option was also a neat feature to have. I could easily charge our phones throughout the flight. I was also impressed with how well staffed the crew was. There was always a crew member going up and down the aisle with water and offering assistance in any way possible. Overall I am happy with the flight. PAL has made the trip home easier, more pleasurable and most importantly closer than ever before. Thank you PAL!"

The crew should have done something to seat them at the end but they were seated in the middle. Was so annoyed ! Flight attendant were slow taking our empty food tray. 1/2 hour later or more before they finally take it. No addt'l crew to give drinks after the meal."

Repeatedly called Philippine Airlines customer service to ask about them providing overnight hotel accommodation given the new flight time, but was either told to call back later, that they had entered the wrong date for the request for hotel accommodation - in the end received no reply at all!! Worst airline customer service experience ever!"

Then always late and they blame late arrival of aircraft and then blame the traffic at the airport..it gets so old!! Two hour delay today....really cebu must have the worst on time arrivals of any airline!!??? And what happen to boarding special needs first...the gate agents must be idiots they started taking everyone thru both lines...the wheel chair and elderly and children were rammed in with the shoving hoards because they processed both at the same time..it was a fiasco as usual. What happen to board by rows?? I realize late departure but this in no way helped speed ghe plane on its way...uuugggh"

Ưu: "The timing of the Cebu Pacific flight from Bali to Manila was fantastic. Short immigrations lines in Bali and upon arrival in Manila. Seats were better than expected, although we paid extra for the 2nd row. Crew was professional."

Khuyết điểm: "The service at the airports for your company was abysmal to say the least. The fact that I had to pay over $100 for my bag to be checked was absolutely ridiculous. The personnel for Cebu Pacific at the Denspar airport were borderline hostile, racially discriminating and nasty. If you’re airport employees were half as good as the in-flight attendance I would fly with your company again as of right now you couldn’t pay me to get on your airplane."

With the updated booking, we are arriving at 10pm. On the day of our flight they informed us that ot would be delayed and we’ll arrive at Incheon at 12mn."

I went ahead and bought a 2nd return ticket with Philippines Airlines (far far superior airline). My Cebu Pacific seat was zero refund and was sold to someone else I guess. Khuyết điểm: "I BOUGHT ANOTHER TICKET WITH PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, WHICH LEFT LATER, TODAY AND I HAD NO PROBLEM. NO EXCUSES. SO I PAID TWICE FOR A TICKET TO MANILA FROM BANGKOK. THE BIG PROBLEM IS EVEN WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT WAY AHEAD OF TIME, THE CEBU PACIFIC PEOPLE, JUST DO NOT CARE, THEY DO NOT GIVE A DAM. THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF MONEY. AND TIME AND STRESS, THERE IS NO REASON TO NOT LET ME ON THE PLANE. I GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION, THEY NEEDED. THE SAME INFORMATION AS I GAVE PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, THAT I DID FLY WITH. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE HORRIBLE TREATMENT I RECEIVED TODAY."
Khuyết điểm: "Its a shame—Singapore is a first-class city and its people are beautiful; except for one zealous person who made it her goal to ruin Singapore. Cebu Pacific (MNL) required our umbrella to be checked-in without incurring additional expense since it does not make sense to charge us because the umbrella price is way less than the shipping cost. However, Cebu Pacific (SGN) Counter Supervisor was rigid and unprofessional; she wouldn’t listen to reasons and logic. She said that this is SGN and not MNL and therefore, its totally different. She was correct because we were able to go home and security did not say anything about our umbrella. Basically, we do not have to check-in our umbrella in the first place. But the Supervisor was adamant and combative regarding our umbrella. We told her we’ll just throw it in the trash can instead of shipping it."

Ưu: "we had a very tight connection from landing in Manila to catching our flight to El Nido. Cebu's team lead us through the check in process to expedite and save time and even ordered a special shuttle bus for us to take between terminals at the airport. I was very impressed and will be telling everyone I know how great Cebu is."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight was cancelled because of weather condition while we were at the boarding gate, they didn't care about compensations or consider not risking putting the passengers under last minute pressure, at least they should've notified us ahead of time, they automatically rolled us in the next flight, however, they didn't confirm if the next flight will be cancelled or not. In order to make sure I can catch my connecting flights, I booked another flight from Legazpi to Manila on a different airline, in addition, I had to pay the hotel booking cancellation fees in Manila, since these fees can only be waved if I cancelled 24hrs in advance. Moreover when I asked for my ticket refund, they made a big deal out of it and after a ruff struggle they agreed to refund me, but whatever the refund amount was, it barely covers anything of what I had to pay for a new ticket+ 1 extra night stay in Legazpi + hotel cancellation fees in Manila, I ended up paying 400USD in total while I only got around 50USD ticket refund from them, and of course, add to that the stress and hassle I went through in doing this!"
Ưu: "Clean aircraft and friendly staff. I wasn't expecting entertainment and didn't order a meal hence the 1 star. No complaints about the flight and I've flown several times with them and always been satisfied."

Ưu: "Boarding went swiftly and without issues. On board catering however rely's more on pre-booking your meals else there are hardly any options left. Seat was ok and punctuality too."
Khuyết điểm: "The check-in was a mess.. we were the first at the counter but among the last to board. The clerc disappeared with my passport and asked me to transfer luggage on the spot. On top she did not return the booking form. Luckily I had a second copy or my filipino friend would have been stopped by filipino immigration."

Khuyết điểm: "Our international flight from Lonon to HK was 40kg per person and the HK to clark only allowed 20kg per person. I thought this may have been ok but caused many shopping plan changes and ruined our initial HK shopping."
