We wouldn't have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"

We had to wait in a huge line to get rebooked and it was clear the Japan Airlines employees did not know what they were doing. Put me on a flight next day and couldn't even provide hotels for us (gave us $100 to find our own which was near impossible at that time). I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

So I requested the representatives at the check in counters at both airports to change our seats so that we could seat next each other. They were willing to help us out and we got the great seats. They had to ask other customers to help this out, too. In the airplanes, the flight attendants were extremely helpful and friendly when we asked them questions and favors, with nice smiles and calm quiet voices. No wonder the atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet during the both flights. The leg room was roomier and the facilities were newer. When I saw three pilots bowed to the customers before getting into the airplane, I felt they were very professional and ready for their jobs."

Ưu: "Don't cheap out on your flights to Japan because this ANA flight from New York/JFK to Haneda was the correct way to go. Japanese-style hospitality, respect and quality of service (which is beyond the heavens) shows from check-in to landing (and even post-landing.) The in-flight meals, inspired by Japanese recipes of the Japanese destination or origin, were finely made - that goes even for Economy Class. When there was a delay that was ultimately out of their control, they made things right with post-landing arrangements. Never take any other country's airline when flying into Japan - always always ALWAYS take ANA whenever you can. (Avoid codeshares, too!!)"

Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Hell it was so disgusting that you guys will tell me at the time of boarding that you are going to let me know whether you are going to give me food or not.. And they know that I am not alone I was traveling with my 5 year old son also. They are really hopeless. I am really disappointed"

The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

I and a random group of passengers were made to wait with no explanation AFTER our electronics were already cleared to go through yet another security check. They said we were selected for screening but all the other people they took before us were screened the exact same way. It was stressful and traumatizing to stand for 45 minutes with no clear explanation. The crew were clearly new at their job or ill trained. On top of that they consistently ran out of food they were serving and was forced to take the vegetarian option when it's not what I wanted. I could not wait to leave Doha and exit Qatar airways. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"

Decent movies mean a box under the seat cuts into legroom. A cramped, miserable 7 hours for this 6’0 tall American. Staff was as helpful as they could be, but my knees still hurt."
Khuyết điểm: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."

Ưu: "One aspect that was greatly appreciated was when the cabin head came over the speaker and asked everyone to please return their seat to the up right position so that everyone could enjoy their meal. When you sit in the main cabin, it's incredibly frustrating to have the person in from of you recline their seat. There is little room, and for the most part everyone is pretty selfish about that."

The AA plane basically was awful, old, cramp, entertainment equipment wasn't working and when it did it was the old style shared monitor. The BA crew was super and approachable. The Food was great for airplane food. I would fly BA anytime."

Delayed on way back, adding 4 hours to our trip because the first plane was not "serviceable" and they had to get a replacement. They arbitrarily decide who has to much carry on luggage and force you to check it last minute at the gate while letting others with same size bags take them on the plane. Certainly no better than bargain flights and possibly worse. Why pay extra? No more British Airways for us."

When we finally disembarked, I was not allowed to my gate despite it being in the same terminal and having 40 mins to go.I was directed to a BA desk to get another flight. After 15mins waiting here the staff were rude and announced they would be closing. I finally was directed to departures to be told the only option was the same time tomorrow. Terrible journey!"

People taking this flight and expecting to do work or watch the in-flight entertainment shouldn't. There is not enough space to use your laptop and when the person in front of you reclines while you are trying to read, not only won't you be able to read but you won't be able to watch a movie either (unless you are very short) since the screen is tilted accordingly."

After running through Heathrow after a delayed connection, we were told 5 min before the flight was scheduled to take off that it would be delayed. The coach seats were some of the smallest I've ever experienced (I fly 2x a month on average). The crew broke wheels off both of our roller bags."

I don't normally suffer claustrophobia on flights, but I seriously almost stepped off the plane immediately after stepping on, given the low ceiling, and confining nature of the plane. If it had been a full flight, I'm not sure I would have made it without a full blown panic attack of claustrophobia."

Khuyết điểm: "My inflight entertainment system was "flakey". The sound would go on and off. I could not hear the movie, most of the time. The flight attendant gave me a second set of ear phones, but clearly it was the unit of my seat that was broken or intermittently functioning. It made for a very long flight as it was daytime and I could not sleep with the passenger group so active. Ironically, on the BA flight over the book I was listening to on the entertainment system would stop and then now resume where it left off so I had al lot of trouble listening to that one, too. I am not a complainer and the crew was busy with the daily flight activities. I would not rank the over all enjoyment of this flight very highly as that is a long time to be bored. Unfortunately this was my first round trip to London with British Air and I have to say that it did not compare well to the several flights I have has on Virgin Atlantic. My travel mate made the reservations with BA when I had researched and selected VA. I think in the future I would go back to traveling on VA."

Customer service didn't care, crew didn't care, but we cared. We also has to bus out to the plane practically in another city, then sat on the tarmac for 1.5 hours."
Ưu: "My flight going to the UK was rough, but the flight home was as solid as being on the ground. This is my third round trip with BA and while the trip home last year I experienced poor customer service from the flight attendant assigned to our side of the plane, both my inbound and home bound flight crews, this time were exemplary. Very kind and caring. The pasta was very good."
Khuyết điểm: "The single Halloween size kit-kat bar that we were given as a snack. Was so small that I naturally believed that we could take more than one. I was politely told that the singe 3.5inch twin wafers were all that we were allowed per person. We have a candy jar, in our office and with the extra supply in the supply closet, we would have been able to give everyone at least two. So, my recommendation is if you are flying transatlantic, to stock up at Heathrow for extra food. Also, the seats were very very small. I was lucky and the plane was not sold out, so both flights my seat mate and myself were able to put a seat between each other. I found myself reasoning that for the price of the flight I was paying for transport to England not for comfort."

He wasn't even aware of it, though I shouted from the burn. When I told another what had happened, he only responded, "Okay." Tray slide all over the tray tables because there's no traction. In turbulence the problem was compounded."

I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

THANKS american for starting a war in my family and ruining my trip. unfortunate the crew is so awesome but the customer service is mortifying, rude, inconsiderate and completely mechanical. i dont ever intend on flying with them again unless necessary."

I am extremely upset because I paid an extra $75.00 on day of to get home earlier but ended up getting home at the same time that I would have on my original flight because the flight was late and I missed my shuttle because 1920 was late boarding. I should be reimbursed SOMETHING for my inconvenience...especially after paying $75.00 extra for an earlier flight."
