Airport staff are good but no signage to help incoming passengers unless you know the airport in Doha.
Ground staff at bangalore are very helpful
The best thing was that the flight was only 20 hours from Ahmedabad, India to Philadelphia with just 3 hours of layover in Doha. Food, entertainment, staff- everything was good.

I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Actually the majority are either from Middle East including Arabian Gulf counties and from United States. But menu on board is always splitted into two choices: One choice fits all and another fits only Indians !!! This would be a great favor if we are on board an Indian airliner, but not for Al-Etihad Airways !! And this is a true problem because any passenger from Middle East or Europe or America CAN NEVER eat that Indian meals which was served on board !! I’m a doctor.. You will have a diarrhea straight forward for the rest of the flight. It’’s hot spices mixed with anything pasta or chicken or vegetables and that’s it. That maybe so much tasty for certain group of people but in a restaurant not on board a flight on air. They are blocking passengers’ choices in food in the other option whatever it is. And situation may got worse if the only other option is for instance is meat because my wife doesn’t eat meat (she’s exceptional.. That’s right) but then she poorly can not eat any meal on board this flight and has to wait for the second meal after another 6 hours. Maybe she will be lucky and she can eat the only second available option for all because we all can not eat the first choice meal which is a must to be Indian. And here I’m specifying it. It’s Indian, not vegetarian meal. Vegetarian meal would be a nice choice acceptable to try for anyone. This must be considered!!! Passengers have nothing to eat except what air-hosts serve them for 16 hours !! So Al-Etihad should kindly know that not half of its passengers on board are Indians. Ưu: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."

When the food trolley came to my seat in the mid section of the plane, the hostess with almost a desperate look told me that only the vegetarian dish was available.I told her that I definetly need the fish or chicken dish.She scrounged around and ultimately gave me the fish choice whereas all the rest around me had to do with the vegetarian fare.Why this stupidity of a grandiose menu card?...The menu list states a list of liquor available in flight in the economy class.The hostess was serving the same only to those who specifically asked for it and that too as if she has to pay for the same.What a shame on the airline.You folks can do much better than this, in the so called cattle class.Sitting in a preassurised tube for more than 21 hours to reach ones destination is agony by itself, but then getting into your flight after seeing the goodies offered are only in paper, is a sad disappointment."

I paid the $14 to bus over to LaGuardia where my flight was delayed repeatedly and I didn't arrive in PGH until nearly 11p. (scheduled to arrive @ 1720) The flight itself was not bad nor did the crew do a bad job, it was more the general indifference and treatment in between."

Smooth boarding take off before time and arrived 23 minutes before TIME.
The boarding flight is painful experience, starting from entering the airport (poor training to staff to verify the identity and ticket details), standing at the counter to check in the baggage (extremely slow). Once boarded, it’s a pleasant experience. The crew is polite and patient.
Last minute gate change … from jetway to bus, delayed boarding … too much waiting on the bus to board.
The paneer served was so hard.

Was asked to check-in my bag, and paid RM79 for the extra 3 kilos. Never flying with them again."

We were given a warning literally 10 seconds before they sprayed it."

After that he sneered at me and suggested that if I had not booked through Kayak and instead through the airline, that it would be a little cheaper. He then pushed me to hand over my credit card so he could charge me. From then on all I have to say is that the planes have no entertainment, no leg room (they are known for the insanely tight seats) and no food. Not even a drop of water was offered unless you pay on board. Interesting...I wonder what they do then with all of the money they took to accept my one bag (it was seriously 10k, I'm a small girl travelling alone there was nothing large about it). All that to say, I wish I could get some money back, I would never have paid so much to check a bag if I had the opportunity to cancel the flight all together. I'm beyond unhappy with my experience."

The international waiting area post-security is tiny with zero dining options. Third world all the way, a distinct contrast to the city, which is great."

Flight attendants never offered water or any service on a 5 hour flight. When we asked for water, they asked for money... This takes the idea of no frills to the extreme."

They acknowledged my request and it's been 2 weeks with no follow up when they said they'd would with in 24 hrs. I am currently disputing the charges bc I never flew."

When handed boarding pass it was for wrong person. They had not checked passport and confirmation number. Once checked they found out that I had paid for baggage. Refused to credit back my credit card and said it would take 6 weeks for a refund. They delayed our boarding and even after realizing their mistake they appeared utterly confused. Service personnel and especially the manager are totally incompetent. I would avoid this airline if at all possible."

After arguing with the manager, and then having to call AirAsia Thailand, I realized they were both incompetent and rude. Kayak never allowed the option to pay for baggage when I booked the flight, and AirAsia didn't believe me and wouldn't even respect their online fee chart. I will never fly AirAsia again, and I will also dispute the charge with my credit card company, as it is unprofessional if not illegal."

The check in person was helpful but I couldn't find my proof of payment so my wife and I spent some frantic minutes pulling weight out of our bags and into our carry on finally getting the price down to 3800 baht. I've since found my proof of payment and hope that Air Asia will reimburse me but the whole exercise sucked hugely."
