Khuyết điểm: "Was on flight QR 743 Doha to Boston. The pilot landed as if it was an afterthought In good weather, it sounded as if the pilot used the computer to land. The crew worked with great pains within a difficult situation. The flight was delayed by an hour, full flight had dirty lavatories without water from the get go! One of the middle lavatories could not lock! This plane should have been better serviced by ground crew before it departed Doha! Infotainment system is confusing, keep it simple and add more up to date movies. Even then, I will still fly QR over all else."
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."

Hats off to the crew who patiently handled it."

Do not under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take the window emergency exit seats. They charge you extra but don’t warn you that they are tiny. I am of relatively normal (althletic) build not overweight or unusually tall etc. They initially told me there were no other free seats so I ended up sat on the floor. Turns out there were free seats. They lied."
Ưu: "I flew round trip on their flagship Airbus 380 from Toronto to Dubai, about 13-14 hours. Crew was great, plenty of food and drinks, about 3x meals, lost track of how many drink runs, maybe 5x. It was almost too much food & drink! The in-flight entertainment was great, touch screen was fantastic, USB port, even power outlet, on back of seat, plenty of entertainment choices from movies, to video games, to trivia, I even got a kick out of all the camera's mounted on the outside of the plane with all the flight tracking details available on screen, plenty of bathrooms. Its such a big plane it didn't even feel like you are flying. I'm 6'4" so I always choose an aisle seat so i can at least stretch one leg out, the crew was even mindful not to bump my elbow or even my leg when it was extended out into the aisle while i was asleep...which was more than accommodating to something I shouldn't have been doing! Overall Excellent, I wish every airline was like Emirates. They're bringing back the old school service and class airlines used to be like. I know people don't dress up while they air travel anymore, but I'll be dressing up the next time I fly Emirates! ;)"

Khuyết điểm: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

The coffee was cold so I couldn't even drink it, i know I can ask for another one but I felt so disappointed that I'd rather have nothing. My monitor had lots of weird lines on them as the colors were so off on some areas and good on other areas."

Ưu: "I was okay till got to sit on their tight sits for 15 hours they could have done better. After 15 hours flight no one cared enough to guide us to rest place, because the next flight was not to the next day, was hoping to let us stay on the hotel. This was a disaster planning by the airline."

An announcement was repeatedly made that the final boarding call for the flight had been issued, and suddenly the entire assembly of passengers waiting before the gate stood up en masse and moved toward the gate, where we ended up standing for twenty or so minutes while the passengers were boarded in sequence according to seat assignment. I'm certain that Emirates has a protocol for gate announcements, but one of their employees certainly didn't know what it was."

People in front reclined their seats right back into our faces. Seats were packed together very tightly. Given the lack of space, better to fix seats to only recline a little."

The food was above what I expected coach meals to be from my experiences flying different carriers to over 8 different countries. The customer service was amazing! The lady flight attendant for my section was very attentive and friendly. When I came out of the bathroom, I accidentally interrupted one male flight attendant from doing his job, he politely gestured which reassured me that he would be right with me when he was done with what he was doing. I asked him if they had any heartburn or antiacids available which they didn't. These 2 interactions with the flight attendants made the flight very enjoyable."

Again the food was delicious, and I appreciated just how often the crew came around to give out water (I get very dehydrated on flights so I appreciated that very much)"

Ưu: "The in-flight entertainment was above average. The in-flight crew was fine, although not particularly gracious or kind."
Khuyết điểm: "Thankfully I did not have to interact with the flight crew or on-ground customer service very much, especially after my flight from San Francisco to Istanbul (which was an absolute nightmare)."
Khuyết điểm: "Flight was.cancelled.because.of snow in.Istanbul. Fine, that happens, but only solution was to park us in a hotel and tell us to wait. I did not see any serious attempt to reroute passengers and l had to buy another ticket in order to be back at work in time."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight attendants weren't personable on any of the flights. I'm 6 months pregnant and randomly get hungry. There are snacks like muffin available "anytime" On our long flight from Atlanta to Paris I pressed the button 3 times to see if I could get a muffin, but the attendant alert was turned off remotely and no one came to check on me. Thank God it wasn't some sort of emergency."
Ưu: "The inflight service was wonderful. Business class comfort is excellent with full lie flat seats, Crew was attentive. My special vegetarian food was very good using the usual airline fare I receive."
Khuyết điểm: "The arrival into Istanbul was marked by a major inconvenience unnecessary anxiety, extra expense and frustration. On deplaning from a flight from Barcelona, a Turkish Airlines employee was checking boarding cards the connectivity flight and directed people to the appropriate exits for domestic and international connection. We had a connection to JFK and tried to enter the exit for international connections. She insisted that we go to the domestic exit despite my telling her we had an international connection. This led to passport control which had never occurred to me anywhere in the world when making an international connection. Next problem - I was told I needed a visa! My travel partner did not need a visa and was already through passport immigration control. The officer did not speak English and pointed in the direction I needed to go to get a via. I told him I did not want or need a visa but that was it! I started to look for the visa application area and there was no staff or anyone to help. Finally I found 4 kiosks for e-visas - only one worked. 20 plus dollars later I had the visa and immigrated. We quickly reverse the process and went though security and passport control to get back inside the international terminal. It was nuts! The boarding in Istanbul was crowded and chaotic."

Khuyết điểm: "1) Since we had a long layover at Istanbul, the airline provides the option to take you to a free hotel to spend the night. I knew this information based on online reviews, but the airline itself never did anything to offer this, I had to walk around on the airport, for like 2 hours I could not find decent help and some instructions in broken English. I had to pay 25 Euros to get mi visa stamped and walk out of the airport. The Turkish Airlines attendant that set up the free hotel for us, walked us to a shuttle that would drive us to the hotel, but the shuttle driver got lost? or something happened that caused for him to drive around town for more than an hour, speaking on the phone loudly in Turkish and completely ignoring us when we asked questions, This got a little scary since we had no idea what was going on, at some point we were in the middle of a dark residential area, and listening to the driver yell on the phone (god knows what). Luckily a driver came over and guided us to the hotel, but seriously, they should be careful about who they hire for these kind of tasks. (I posted a video on instagram with footage of the guy driving us around in case my family needed to find me)."

Khuyết điểm: "Departure was late by an hour which made me miss my connection. Because of this: I had to purchase a visa @$70 US Airport service in Istanbul was very bad. It took 2 hours before anyone would actually help me to organize my next flight to Milan. By the time I arrived in Milan, my family had left worried sick not knowing what happened to me. I then had to find a bus to take me to Lugano, another 25 Euros, and not to mention all the stress to me and my family. I then decided not to put myself through the same situation on my way back to Tel Aviv and purchased new ticket with another Airline company. Overall, the whole experience was a nightmare."

Ưu: "The food was delicious. I have never had better airplane food. The movies were super new and interesting. I did not have time in the 11 hours of flying to watch all the movies I wanted to. The flight was also incredibly smooth."
Khuyết điểm: "There were a few small things that could have been better (Which I'll mention), but the worst thing about the flight was the airport. Ataturk Airport is a mess. After the attempted coup, they really upped security, forcing all international flights to go through a second security screening after transferring from another airport. It's understandable but the line moved at a molasses-like speed when I had only 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. The security personnel were rude, as well. Also, when I went to make my connecting gate in Cairo, there was no one at the gate after the required boarding time (Because security had held us up), forcing some of us to board the plane without having anyone to show us onto the plane (Very scary). The flight boarding was chaotic, and no announcements were made about what we were supposed to do. Besides the lack of boarding gates, the only other serious complaint I had against Turkish Airlines (Because it really was great overall) was that the pilots and flight attendants were very hard to understand. I have taught ESL for the past 5 years, and I still had a hard time as an American understanding their English. Also, they frequently didn't understand or misunderstood questions that I would ask them. I've never had a hard time understanding flight attendants on an international flight, but I only understood about 20% of what anyone said over the loud speaker in the plane. And it's nice to be able to understand when the pilot says, "We are experiencing some turbulence and would like everyone to buckle their seatbelts until it passes." Two small things remain: 1. The bathroom trash cans were full on every flight (A small thing but makes everything feel "trashy"). 2. The flight attendants seemed unhappy, and they definitely seemed unhappy to be serving us. I can only assume they are that way because they aren't treated particularly well by their bosses."
Ưu: "The food was good, the drinks were great, the stewardesses were professional and helpful and the entertainment system was really good, lots of movies. We got there safe and on time...what more do you need? Oh, and the price for my route was amazing; the next airline was $1000 more and the one after that $2000 more."
Ưu: "The flight was fine, the crew courteous and everything was ok until I got to my destination."
Khuyết điểm: "It turns out my checked luggage never made it to Budapest and the people at the airport did nothing to help with the fact that I had nothing on me because of that. They took my information to deliver the suitcase but since the luggage would not reach me for at least a week they did nothing to compensate for the fact that all I had on me were some books and my computer. I had to buy all new toiletries and since I am travelling for work basically had nothing to wear for my meetings. This was a really bad experience"

Ưu: "I really like the fact that they still prepare food for their passengers, however, the quality of the food was less than average They prepare you with the eye mask and the slippers, and a thin sheet of blankets for longer flight, which was really nice. The seats are comfortable, and there are a larger selection of movies and songs to choose from which were also great. The flight was relatively stable. I didn't ever realize that we took off, maybe i was too tired to notice, i don't know."
Khuyết điểm: "The boarding was really slow, it was not on time. The food was less than average, but better than not have any. It was hard to find assistance. The flight seemed a bit old, because we weren't able to turn off our light which caused some inconvenience."

Khuyết điểm: "Once in Turkey (Istanbul ) I had to go to a Turkish Airlines customer service kiosk in order to ask some questions about by following flight. One of the ladies in the counter had to be the rudest customer service person I have seen in years. She talked and dealt with people as if they were an incredible annoyance on her life. She will even dismiss you without answering your questions."
Ưu: "It was nice and easy trip to USA and back home to Moldova. Crew was attentive and helpful. Food was good and plenty to drink."
