Finally, approximately 12 hours before departure we wwere able to check in Only to find out due to the expiration date of our passport we would not be an allowed to check in. We scrambled to get an emergency passport, however by the time it was received we had already missed our flight. Korean air is not willing to aknowledge this as a fault in their system and is instead suggesting this is a kayak issue for allowing us to purchase these flights. I would like the total flight cost refunded as this should never have been allowed to be purchased if Korean air knew at the time of purchase when checking in there would be an issue."

We had a very short connection but were met as we got off our first flight in Seoul and given great instructions about how to quickly get to our connection through security while our flight to SFO was being held for 15 minutes. The food was very good, choice of movies and TV excellent. Our bags made it to SFO despite the short connection. All in all I couldn't ask for a better way to make a 20 hr trip to the other side of the world."

At checkin service the attendant was kind enough to notice that my travel partner and I would enjoy an aisle and window seat together without a middle seat occupant and seated us accordingly. Ưu: "At Incheon Airport, many passengers were taking up three seats and sleeping, very rude. The plane was already scheduled to be late by twenty minutes, blaming the weather(light snow). While checking in at the gate, the flight attendant gave my wive a hard time about her USA Visa. She has a spouse Visa with the first picture ID having expired and a current USCIS extension letter explaining that this is perfectly acceptable. The male flight attendant asked her for another letter, and none exists. We did get on, he called USCIS to verify this, but we were the last to get on and this started the delays. It is also a little embarrassing, since all of our paperwork is alway in order. We are not criminals. The next delay before leaving was that there were two unclaimed, untagged suitcases on the plane. The flight attendants were running back and forth trying to resolve this, but this was at the last minute when we were trying to take off. The plane then had to be deiced causing even a further delay coming to one and a half hours. As we "almost landed" at O'Hare in Chicago, the plane was ready to hit the runway(within feet), but pulled up at the last minute and accelerated with out explanation. I know they were trying to avoid an accident, but this seemed like bad planning or miscommunication. Next, we were fling over Lake Michigan turning around. It appears we landed on a runway facing west as opposed to facing east. There was no explanation about this, except that we would be delayed even longer. Prior to our deplaning, the flight attendants moved many of the people in the back of the plane to the front empty seats. I believe this was due to the lengthy delay and these must have been passengers with interconnection flights. This was a nice gesture of customer serve, but it was very disrupting to my wife and myself. Since we were detained at the gate, we were upset during the flight, and had a hard time relaxing. This last minute commotion made our flight more nerve wracking. This flight is over 12 hours long, and we expected to sleep/relax and become reaccustomed to the 13 hour time difference. This did not happen. Finally, we live near O'Hare, and our neighbor was doing us a favor and picking us up. Due to the lengthy delay, we had to reschedule our lift home, just another incident to add to our anxiety."

the biggest disappointments was, we were not informed of all the information we need, on our scheduled trip coming back to US.. We've tried a lot of times calling and send an email asking about any procedures that we might need to know upon our return trip, but unfortunately there was no response either at all. then came the horrific day of our return trip to US. after an hour and a half being in the long line, we are surprised when one of the airline staff announce that we need to prepare all documents needed including ANTIGEN TEST. This was the start of our horrific experience on that day. Were told different information from other sources, but heard nothing from JAL, as mentioned earlier that we tried calling them to ask for any info for our flight. Long story short as a result of this horrific misfortune caused by this airline, aside from the unexpected huge expenses that we incurred, as of this moment this problem is not yet resolve as we called them letting them of the situation happened to us in our recent Manila trip going to Seattle May 31, 2022.

Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.
Stewardesses are so nice! Food is really good I will choose japan airline again!
Ưu: "The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

Ưu: "EVA graciously accept a name correction to my ticket where most of my name was correct but the first name wasnt. A big help. Unlike travelling in and out of China. So, i appreciated this help. Flying out at 2 am and arriving Taipei at 5 am was a good time choice too. Service on board was good. Lots of refreshments served. Nice plates used for meals in economy."

Ưu: "It's hard to get a flight out of Vietnam one-time using their cheap local carriers so I went with an international brand. At $200 roundtrip, I was worried there were going to be a bunch of charges for things as well as delays. But low and behold, UNI/EVA seems to have figured out cheap tickets that run on schedule and includes all the normal perks like luggage. 1:50am flight is perfect, left Vietnam on time and even arrived in Taipei ahead of schedule! I would definitely fly them again."
Khuyết điểm: "My only complaint is the lighting. There is too much going on in the cabin for a 1:50am flight. I wish they wouldn't serve food and not turn the lights on and off as its difficult to sleep. Also the flight attendants were very peculiar about just how much my bag was under the seat."

Ưu: "Well trained crew. very attentive and polite. Comfortable seats and I find the Airline food is very good and fresh. The cost of the flight was very reasonable, compared to the other airlines. EVA Flight attendants are gorgeous and carry out their tasks very professionally and with a smile to all."

Ưu: "This review is for my flight to Philippines only as I cancelled my return to Vancouver to go to Europe. Comfortable seats in a new plane. IFE had a good selection. Food was good. Crew were friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. Sleeping masks and earplugs were provided in the lavatory."

Khuyết điểm: "This is my wife & I flying with EVA Air. My wife and I have travelled with many international and domestic airlines for 38 years now since we started travelling. This was is our first experience with EVA Air. I’d recommend EVA Air’s Premium Economy. The seats were wider and leg room was excellent. The amenities were great especially the entertainment part. TV Screen in front of the passenger (installed behind the seat in front) was very clear. it was the same as if watching movie on an iPad. The food was great! Both my wife and I like the dinner and the breakfast served. Also, the price of EVA Air’s Premium Economy is great compared to similar Asian Airlines from Vancouver to Manila. EVA Air was the cheapest when we started shopping for flights from Vancouver-Taipei-Manila."

For a 13+ hour flight I was disappointed with the amount of TV shows and movies I had access to. I would still recommend EVA to friends and family with a warning to bring approved food and entertainment."

Khuyết điểm: "The reduced rating for boarding is due to EVA air not enforcing the cabin luggage policies. One family of three each had two large suite cases. This greatly slowed down boarding and greatly reduced the available bin space. If there is going to be a policy, it should be enforced."
Everything was wonderful!
Due to sickness I requested wheelchair but after boarding they just left us alone. They never comeback and i have to walk with my hand language. That was a poor customer support we received in dhaka airport.
Service was excellent but food was mediocre

Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi haa an additional Immigration step before security that's added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.
unfortunately we were unable to travel at this time due to the ongoing Covid situation in Sri Lanka. we hope to go instead in March 2022.

The delay was not officially communicated to any of the passengers — no announcements made, no representatives to talk to at the gate — until well past the time that we should have been in the air. It was distressing."

We had a long layover, 12 hours, and they said we didn't have rights for anything. So we went to the city on our one because we didn't want to go on organized tour that we need to pay extra money"

But on the flight from DOH to PHL, the neck rest was awful - it only adjusted vertically (unlike the other flights), and it was too thick so that my neck was in an extremely uncomfortable position for 14 hours - not fun!"

One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."
