In honesty. I was very upset that my husband and uncle flight wascancel coming back from Peru. Going to peru also it was cancel two times one because the covid was not accepted The second time he could not board the plane i dont know why? the third time is when he finally left to peru but he did not notice that rhe flight coming back home was cancel. Latam split the tickes and send us two to Miami and two to NY. I could not believe what Latam did why they cancel our flight itenary coming back without telling us or sending us a message. I was trying to talk to you about this matter and your long distance numbers do not work outside USA. your work is very poor. I dont know if i should recomend your company to anybody. I shall get some money back too for all that we went through. Even my ludgage bag was missing. It will be nice if someone from latam call me and explain the reason of the mistakes and probably own us an apology. .

Khuyết điểm: "Airport is a disaster. It is a single gate, bamboo-walled open air space with about half the seating necessary for a flight. Latam charges almost $2 even for a cup of “coffee” that is really just hot water, powdered Nescafé and powdered milk! It hardly seems worth the effort and really slows down service."

Ưu: "My three LATAM flights were all on-time, well-piloted and efficiently run. They are not responsible for airport-related issues in Lima. Taking off at over 11.00 feet and landing at sea level must be like having most of the air leak out of your tires while driving, but these guys take that in stride."

Ưu: "Flight from LAX to Lima good enough. Flight from Lima to Buenos Aires very bad. Old plane food sucked and entertainment non existent."
Ưu: "Very smooth flight. Good service and food though the items on the food tray were just the meal and a dessert snack. Other airlines have food trays with salad, fruit, the entree and a snack dessert. But as long as we get there safe and sound I am ok."
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding process in Miami was chaotic. Started late as the crew reported late to the flight. Nobody knew what's going on until the gate agents made an announcement that the crew was reporting late. We departed almost an hour late."

Many passengers places small items that belong below the seat in the over head. I had to ask passengers myself who's bag is this to get them to put it under the seats in front of them."

Khuyết điểm: "Seemed like they should have known the plane would have been late when they told us all good eight hours earlier, as plane was still in Lima when we arrived at LAX and hence our flight was cancelled but only after driving up to LA and waiting at check in an hour."

Khuyết điểm: "My 3 Hour layover was extended to Nine hours. The Peruvian airport offered me a hotel room i turned down. Peruvian gentleman on the plane just prior to landing was telling me how dangerous it is in Peru in the area surrounding the airport. I was given four hours of wifi coupons and coupons to a breakfast and lunch at a restaurant by our gate, where i was waited on poorly. Next time i may look for a layover in Florida."

Khuyết điểm: "Average airline with poor customer service. The transit was too short and lost my luggage. Customer service was very poor and recovering my bags was an epic and expensive endeviour!!"

Khuyết điểm: "I was very disappointed to discover that I was not able to choose my seat in advance because I bought my ticket from a third party. I ended up in the emergency exit aisle with a seat that wouldn’t recline so I was unable to sleep on my overnight flight. Also the staff at the gate showed up just 5 minutes before boarding, so I waited in line a long time to get my seat- almost an hour. I could not see the movie screen from my seat."

I don't understand why our carry on bags needed to be searched. We were put in a line with only one person doing the bag checks while the other line had over two people checking bags."

Khuyết điểm: "My flight was delayed more than 9 hours, and I do understand the fact that this happens. What I can't understand is LATAM waiting until I arrived to the airport to tell me that it was delayed (instead of calling or sending an email) and told me that it is MY FAULT for not reviewing the website. In addition, at the counter they told us that we didn't need to do a line again for dropping bags in the morning. However, when we arrived the next morning we had to do a 40 minute line. The pain was compounded by a member of the staff yelling at me for asking him to be moved to a quicker line because I could miss my flight. I've always flown on Lan (now Latam) and I've never had this bad experience before. I'm really disappointed!!"

Khuyết điểm: "The coach seats were unreasonably small. I have never been on an airline with such small coach seats. There was virtually no leg room. For this reason alone, I don't think I would fly LATAM again for a long distance flight. It was too uncomfortable."

Khuyết điểm: "Mi primera experiencia en Latam no fue nada buena, mi vuelo latam2005 de lima-cusco el día 3/10/16 se retrasó por 2 horas debido a un supuesto mantenimiento de ultima imprevisto, creo que son cosas que deben detectarse antes para hacer un cambio de avión y no hacer al pasajero perder su tiempo...el 2do vuelo de cusco-lima Latam 2020 día 6-10-16 también se retrasó con 1 hora debido a que viajaban demasiadas personas y necesitaban voluntarios para viajar en el próximo vuelo. La verdad no creo volver a viajar con Latam."

Ưu: "Flying on a Boing 787 is wonderful. The overall service from Latam is top quality; the crew was welcoming and very attentive. Food could be improved, specially offering vegetarian alternative for all of the food services. The movie selection could be improved (in variety and vintage). Music selection was very good for my taste."
Khuyết điểm: "I was unable to choose my seats on line in advance, which created a stressful situation when at check-in we found that my wife and I were not seated together. Fortunately for the first leg of the trip (Santiago-Lima) there was an empty seat by her and I took it; and for the second leg (Lima-Los Angeles) the passenger next to her was upgraded on the last minute and left his seat for me. Latam has great service, but must let customers choose their seats or guarantee assigning adjacent seats to passengers traveling together, The process for servicing of the plane during the stop-over in Lima could be improved. I know it is hard to do minor cleaning, tidy-up, and replacement of pillows & blankets while many passengers remain on board, but at least there should be an announcement describing what the passengers are to expect during the stop-over."

Due to that I had to ask the crew to help me to find a passenger willing to change seat with my wife so that she could travel next to my baby boy"

Khuyết điểm: "Lines are very long and the check-in staff are not good at their jobs. For example, I arrived 2 hours early and they ended up letting half the line cut in front, which made me barely make my flight."

Khuyết điểm: "I could not even get the flight rebooked I never got on the plane Los Angeles and they acted like I was there and all was well. I never checked in.. emergency led to a reschedule but contact was never accommodated."

Khuyết điểm: "Lost our bags on our 6 hour layover in Bogota and when we arrived in Lima (our last stop cusco) they were not nice about it at all. So rude. We almost missed our flight to cusco because of it as well even though we had almost a 3 hour layover. Took more than 24 hours to get the bags"

Khuyết điểm: "The Avianca flight was over 4 hours late. We missed our connecting flight with Star Peru, and had to buy new tickets with Viva Air. We spoke with an Avianca supervisor who told us it was not her company's fault the flight was late. Avianca had a flight that night to our destination but they refused to find space for us, or to issue some type of refund or voucher for our lost time and money."
Khuyết điểm: "The airport Jorge Chavez in Lima sucks. Don't spend anymore time than you have to there unless you are prepared to spend a ton on food and water. $9 for a large bottle of water!!"

Received multiple calls from Avianca but all in Spanish until fifth one in English hung up once we confirmed we understood there was a delay. Staff communicated different directions. Only one cafe to wait in. Substitute breakfast served was underwhelming. Plane was incredibly dated with life vests strewn about/not tucked away. Upon deboarding, incredibly unclear that we had to completely exit and go back through security, meaning we had no time between flights for the restroom or to buy water."

Ưu: "Good flight, helpful staff and friendly crew. There was a flight delay out of Iquitos due to fog, causing us to miss our next connection in Lima to Cusco but the staff in Iquitos made sure we got on the next plane with new tickets and luggage transferred to the right plane. Naturally, we were disappointed with several hours of delay due to safety but were pleased with the service in resolving our concerns. There was no entertainment available on this trip ever through there was a screen for each seat."

Two customers flying with little dogs delaying the movement of line. Flight was subsequently delayed by 2 hours and 10 min. More than enough time to allow us to board under 1 hour regulation. I booked LATAM instead of AA based on reputation, very upsetting experience for us."

Khuyết điểm: "Found out that a lot of Argentinians do not obey the crew rules. Before the seatbelt sign turns off they already start moving to the front of the plane. But off course is not the airline duty to teach manners."

Ưu: "Avianca personnel helped as much as posssible because I am a frequent flyer in Star Alliance but there was only so much they could do"
Khuyết điểm: "The itinerary I selected from Kayak site was impossible to accomplish especially with checked luggage because they would not transfer my bag from one airline to the next. Although I got my luggage quickly and got to the check in counter right away, the flight had closed and I had to wait for the next flight."
Khuyết điểm: "I strongly believe they cancelled our flight due to lack of passengers. The plane was sitting on the runway. I boarded for almost two hours for a flight of only one hour away. They were holding plane to fill with those already scheduled for the next flight?"

Khuyết điểm: "Flight was cancelled and we couldn't get out until the next day. They did put us in a hotel and pay for our meals, so that was good, but it was still several hours in line and a big inconvenience. The $30 off coupon for a future Avianca flight is pointless since we live in the US and don't plan to be back in Peru anytime soon. I free ticket or at minimum an upgrad on any star alliance partner would have been appreciated."

Told us that there was a sick passenger on the plane and asked if my friend and I would volunteer to take a flight out the next day, that star alliance would put us up in a hotel over night, pay for our evening meal and fly us business class in the morning, that all we had to do was wait at our departure gate And someone would call our name before boarding. We accepted, waited patiently, then we were scolded for having our checked bags with us and told multiple different conflicting stories about how we were to board our flight, that volunteers were no longer needed. I checked multiple times with check-in crew to confirm that the scenario was a go. They confirmed each time, so I canceled my accommodations for the evening in Lima. The change up at the gate left for a big mess to clean up. The gate crew kept arguing hat they never told us to cancel our Lima plans. But that was besides the point. The point was, they told us one thing, there was a major breakdown in communication among check in and gate crew as well as between all crew and me and no crew member took ownership or apologized for the flub up. And I'd like to point out, this was not a language barrier issue, all flight crew spoke English fluently. One crew member said all volunteers were obtained and they no longer needed us, another said that the sick person flying (the initial issue) was no longer flying, so no volunteers were needed. crew never owned that. they suggested that it was our issue that we canceled our plans. We were able to fix, but incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience."

Khuyết điểm: "The agents and flight attendants were very unfriendly. You could tell that because I was of a different nationality that this was a problem."
