They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

This is not the airline's fault but I had a crazy lady next to me who was very disoriented, who could not speak English and needed assistance. No one would deal with her! She had a little pouch with her name on it -- like a UM -- so someone knew something was not right when they put her on the flight. I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"

The crew of are okay but never take good care of seniors with some physical disabilities to check and see whether they need water to drink on long distance flights as many airlines do. Muslim wheel chair passengers were given preferential treatment as I am always last one to be picked up and my luggage came at the end after waiting for one hour."

Bathrooms in that particular section of the airport were really dirty and broken. Also travelling by bus to the airplane is not desired for such a major airline home airport. I read somewhere that airport is going to go through major renovation in 2019, so I hope it will become as good as Dubai airport"

Understanding of English is not that good. 2.Had problems checking the luggage all through despite connection was through star alliance. 3.Had to wait in airport in transit to get boarding passes. Did not understand why it was despite having booked seats early. 4.Seats provided were not good. 5.Also head phones didn't work. I told staff three times and still no response. Finally gave up i had booked because ratings were good. But service was not even close to expectations. Dissapointed."

It has been just over TEN years ago that you had two suitcases at 32 kg each included in price! Does the airline seriously believe that you can travel around the world with just a swim trunk in your pocket? This policy is an insult to any world traveller. We do not all go into an all-inclusive resort! The only drink offered during the flight was plain water, again a step down from before where they also offered others, e.g. orange juice. Seating - now that big persons have the right for two seats for the price of one, when will the same rational apply to tall people?"

Ưu: "I wanted to let you know that we tried to make a chuck in and could not be made online. our flight left vancouver to Israel via Zurich. we were three adults and a nine year old girl, we separated all of us, only at the airport, we managed to get the girl to sit with her mother. that it's my daughter, i see it sternly, we can not be done twenty-four hours in advance of chuck in, and they separate us all, you are bad, and will consider in the future to continue your service, will i weel not recommend you to our friends. your company is turned on by bad people. we telephoned, and it was impossible to correct the mistake that your pepole made , only at the airport we were able to get a partial answer."

Khuyết điểm: "The plane was delayed. Missed my connection because the plane was delayed. No food choice, just whatever they gave me. Food was poor. Entertainment system is dated beyond belief. Staff was in no way helpful or informative regarding rebooking my flights. We were told we would be met by representatives when we got off the plane, we were not. (Same goes for my Flight from Hamburg, to Toronto) Leaving a good amount of people stranded and trying to make the final boarding call of their connecting flight."

The crew area for meal Preparation etc was also directly behindmy seat. Needless to say, I got no sleep on this eight hour flight, had to endure disgusting smells from the bathroom and people hitting my seat every time they passed by bc this is an area where there is not usually a seat. Everyone waiting for the bathroom was in my bubble. To add salt in the wound, the TV and light for reading also did not work. This was the worst flight I've ever had and I feel Air Canada put these 2 seats there as a money grab. No one should ever have to sit there, especially when paying full price."

But on the day of flight, Air Canada refused their boarding, stating that they did not have Canada visas, the fight would transfer in Montreal which needs Canada visa. I had never heard about it and it was never mentioned when I booking the tickets. I called the first customer service who was rude and not helpful. Finally, I found out that my parents had to transfer to Toronto, which does not need a visa. But in order to make the change, I had to pay Air Canada extra $1180, which were more expensive than the tickets self. At that time, I had no other choice. I am really upset. I want to warm all Chinese who don't have green card or Canada visa that do not buy tickets from Air Canada. Their customer service told me that they did not have the obligation to list this kind of information on their website. So if you choose Air Canada, you lose your money and deal with all the hassles by yourself. I will never use Air Canada in my whole life again."

Food was excellent, entertainment system was well stocked, flight attendants were friendly and high energy. Even got to use lounge and fast-track security lane at Heathrow."

Also, they announced at the airport that there were no monitors on the plane and we should download the Air Canada Rouge app. The connection at the airport was poor so I couldn't download the app but my friend did but she still couldn't watch anything on the airplane even though we were told we could get the app and get the on plane entertainment. I just couldn't believe that in 2017 there are allowed airplanes in such poor condition in the air. Also, I was traveling with 2 children and the airline didn't accommodate me at all. Many seats were empty and they put me in a full row. I had to sit on the floor for 8 hours so my children could stretch and sleep and the fly attendant didn't even bother to ask how I was doing but they would frequently bumped into my children's feet in the aisle. Also, a passenger's seat behind me fell apart. I could write an essay about this airline. Never again!"

Khuyết điểm: "The food seemed to be quite a small portion. The chicken entree was normal size, but lacking in taste. The side was also bland in flavor but a good mix of veggies. I would have enjoyed another small snack, such as cheese and crackers or some such. The movie list was fairly good with somewhat recent items. The TV list was lacking in choices, it seemed. However, that may be the content of modern TV. Access to the toilets were often hindered by staff, especially in the rear of the cabin. We were 45 minutes late. I was already booked on a flight 5+ hours later, which was nice. However, I was given a only a food voucher of 31CHF. The amount was wonderful, but they offered this at a time when I had already eaten on the plane and was not hungry at all. I could only buy a few things to eat or take with me, and the rest of the amount was wasted. Alternatives, could have been a partial refund, a visa gift card, an upgrade on my flight back, etc."
Ưu: "Boarding and deplaning were easy and pleasant. The 4 hour wait passed pretty quickly. The seating was tight but expected. The flight was smooth, the crew friendly and responsive. Plane was clean, bathrooms clean, nicely kept that way throughout the flight. I did have help reconstructing my import-export card."

With passengers waiting in the aisle to get their seats, I had a second to decide what to take out of my one carry-on before putting it in the overhead bin, and as a result, was without some necessities during the flight. Pearson is a problem. Flights from everywhere were backed up behind a single person operating in security, and hardly any AC personnel there could speak English clearly. The confusion & wait time pretty distressing to most people in line. I had 4 hours to the next flight so wasn't worried, but waited 1 hour in line in the airport hallway before getting in to present information to security. Situation at airport is not good at all. I'd try to avoid Pearson as a transit point if I could, in the future. The music channels were so distorted I couldn't listen to any of the offerings. Too bad about that, but it didn't ruin the flight. Arrival in Zurich was on time and easy."

Especially since the flight was also full. Not Air Canada's fault, but the expererince of middle seat is TERRIBLE."

(Many people on board were separated from their group unnecessarily and they make no attempt to put you together unless you ask at the gate. They refuse to do it before then.) They also overbook flights and put you on standby even if you pay full price and book your flight 6 months in advance AND get to the airport 4 hours in advance."

Ưu: "One of the crew went above and beyond. I ordered a vegetarian hindu meal but somehow was not on the list. Luckily one of the meal options was vegetarian. However he came back to get my information and sent a message to Zurich so that I would be sure to have the meal on my return flight. I thought that was really thoughtful and kind! I do not know his name but he worked in that included row 25 on the A side and I would have loved to be able to mention his name so that he gets a great review. Economy seats we very comfortable for me."
