Both flights SIN<-->MAN had very cold cabins. Why does it have to be very cold?

Ưu: "It's not the cheapest way to fly but it's a great way to cross the Atlantic. Seats are big enough for 2, really. Lay flat beds make the night crossing east tolerable. You really can get several hours sleep. The cabin crew is outstanding, patient, and extremely responsive to requests. Two meals served were excellent. Entertainment choices were complete. After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. Had no idea this level of luxury existed on an airplane."

Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

We checked in together but they put me in another row when the same row with my parents are vacant (two seats left). My mother seat's was an aisle seat and the air condition was stronger than other seats. The flight attendance did not do anything so my father switched his seat with hers. No one came to ask if my mother still feel cold or if my father ever feel anything. There was another Westerner who also felt cold. The flight attendance came to ask him several times how he felt and was trying very hard to accommodate him with great empathy. Then the person who sat next to me could not decide what she would like to have for dinner. There were pork and chicken option. The lady chose pork at first, opened the cover, closed it and returned it to the flight attendance asking for chicken option. The flight attendance gave the opened dish to my father. I did not tell my father and I felt very bad. I think the lady next to me was disgusting, the flight attendance was disgusting and ill responsible to the customer's well being. I think this is a very poor professional ethic. It was raining when we landed and we needed to take a shuttle to the gate. A perfect flying experience after a long trip!!! I fly long distance quite often but rarely chose Thai Airway. Every time I fly with Thai Airway, there will be something that makes me feel horrible to be born as a Thai. This will be my last time flying with Thai Airway. TG 665 Shanghai - Bangkok Seat 31 B and C please do not show any option for Thai Airway the next time I search for a flight!!!"

Khuyết điểm: "I did not enjoy sitting right at the back (back seat). It was very cramped and noisy as people were constantly using the toilets. But not only that, there was a passenger seated in the middle seat who was not well and she kept feeling nausea and wanting help but the crew did not know what else to do having asked if there was a doctor on board. But they were not very gentle with her in their responses. I am not sure if this had anything to do with the fact that she was a muslim dressed in traditional gear."

Although I'm not wheelchair bound, I have great difficulty walking distances with fear of falling. I was never offered some assistance by the Houston airport or the airline at this point. The seating on the plane is difficult to maneuver for a disabled person. The flight was OK except for cramped spaces. The flight left on time and that was good considering Houston had just gone through the hurricane."
Ưu: "The few and very rarely seen employees are not even willing to listen to our questions let alone help us, Ican for sure say in 1 out of 10 wotkers there was only one that was willing to help And did let the one that helped us know I and my co travelers apriciated her or him to me there was one girl who offered me help after I cried because I thougth I would miss my flight to houston. I told her tgank you a 1000 times."

I was aware I would incur a charge, but was surprised that not only would I be redirected from the long bag drop line back to ticket sales, but that they would charge me 10 € per kilo! So my bag ended up costing me double what my ticket cost me for a 4 hour flight. Never again."

Also, and most importantly, they've left my luggage in Istanbul (where the connection was from), so that I was left with no proper clothes/essentials for four (!) days (and it was colder than expected in Italy)."

Ưu: "Even on short flights they still provided lunch and beverages, which unfortunately you don't get on such short flights (less than 60 min) with most companies. Still they maintain their service impeccable."

Personable, friendly service. Crew interactions always naturally pleasant and polite. The crew really enjoy their job and interactions with one another. Public Addresses are all smooth, clear and unambiguous - this instils confidence. Landing was butter-smooth in what seemed to be challenging and turbulent conditions - Kudos to the flight crew. Boarding and airport experience were good also.

Entertainment unit was one of those press-the-screen-and-maybe-10-seconds-later-it'll-react types. Crew wasn't very communicative about what each cart rolling down the isle was for. Not a terrible experience, just not particularly good."
Ưu: "The first and second flight of the four were on time. The food was surprisingly pretty good- probably some of the best airplane food I've had. Not much variety, but still good. One of the four flights had entertainment, and the movies were of good selection."

Ended up having to stay in KL, where the hotel they put us in was an hour away from the airport. No direction, terrible communication. The attendant in Bali lied to me, knowingly. I had to miss a day of work due to this. And this all could have been avoided if they would have held the second plane just 30 more minutes."
