Great service, food was amazing
Emirates canceled the booking on me without any explanation. There was no reason given and no option to rebook. Ended up rebooking on a different airline for double the original price that was locked with Emirates. Even though the refund was processed reasonably expeditiously, this experience is unacceptable.

Khuyết điểm: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

Best part was the hotel provided during my layover in the wee hours of the morning. I was able to sleep well and shower and was therefore more relaxed during the ensuing 14 hour flight."

Even when contacted with airline staff they didn't pass on the right information. We found on airport counter that exists seats opened before opening the airline counter at the airports whereas we are told that it would be allocated at the airport counter only. Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight."

He was, however, very apologetic and eagerly got me the info needed to submit a claim to Emirates."

So annoying. They all look pretty but could definitely be more service orientated."

I then proceeded to attempt to rebook and the Emirates agent advised they are sold out for the next 3 days and have no flight alternatives to offer. I contact flight network and the person I spoke proceeds to tell me the same thing and there is nothing they can do for me. Basically that I would need to purchase a whole new ticket on another airline as Emirates doesn't have availability. Which I did. Now I'm looking online and Flight Network has my exact flight on Emirates available at same price I paid for my ticket. But now my new ticket purchased to get home is non-refundable. I'm out over 1000 dollars because of bad info. This has been a horrific experience and after being loyal to Kayak for years.... I will never use the site again."

Ưu: "After being unexpectedly upgraded to premium economy at the gate, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the seats were even more comfortable than I would have expected for this section. The reclining pitch was excellent - even for the people sitting behind. There is a hassock-like panel to elevate one's legs about 45 degrees. Almonds instead of peanuts, a menu option with a main of a nice piece of steak (that could be cut with an airline knife!), amenity kit... Very happy passenger."
There was a delay - weather + French strike. Pilot was helpful/informative, flight crew was nice but simply talking loudly in galley and not communicating at all. No preflight water or drink even though delayed.
Facilities for short connections.
There was already a group forming a line at zone 4 for a good 15mins and another group created another line just 5mins before boarding and the 1st group had to re-queue. A few of us voiced out to the floor crew but they did nothing. Earphones. Could be supplied first since the flight is suffisent for a movie.
KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.
The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.
being a flight attendant and using spécial fare I apreciate being treated equally to the other pax, the fact that the crew, when I informed them of my status, went to check if I had a good seat ( no one beside me, to be able to get good rest.) Those are important gestures towards the person. I look to more flights with KLM
I love KLM, its very spacious and clean and the landing is always very soft. Great Airline!

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Ưu: "KLM Is an impressive flying experience. We enjoyed the comfortable seats, the in-flight entertainment, and the food. The flight attendants are top notch as well."
Khuyết điểm: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."
Air France lost my luggage again Its the second time in a week
Luggage handling. Arrived in Johannesburg without my luggage. Communication regarding lost luggage is basically non-existent.
Luggage handling was disgraceful and lots of luggage was left behind after being delayed for more than an hour.
Last minute gate change at Charles de Gaulle, required me to walk further to alternate gate for my flight to Punta Cana.
4 flights in 3 weeks between arrival and departure and all flights delayed about 5 to 6 hours ! What’s going on with AF ?! Not a low cost and you paid for that service !?!? Not anymore
Ưu: "I like the crew and their service, the food was amazing speacially the vanilla cheese cake desert was on point, loved it. I loved the “my flight “interaction on the screen and the different view of the plane, cockpit view, left, right etc.. amazing feature."

Khuyết điểm: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

Khuyết điểm: "Cabin temperature was very cool for me. Never used a blanket on an international flight before, and used a blanke on this whole 9 hour flight. Maybe a function of the seat location? Not sure but I was cold."

I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Khuyết điểm: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Khuyết điểm: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Khuyết điểm: "My pregnant wife was downgraded from business to economy 20 minutes before departure because the airline made a mistake with the reservation for our puppy traveling in the cabin with us. If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Ưu: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."

On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."
