I guess the padding gets worn down from all the passenger travel an that's understandable but for passengers with 13-15 hr trips, sleeping isn't an option really and the seats are just not soft enough. Perhaps a nominal $100 upgrade fee when seats are empty in business class? I'm assuming the reason business was empty is it's just too expensive? Maybe a price adjustment is in order rather than letting those seats sit empty? Overall, the flight was a pleasant experience. The seat situation was just a blemish on the trip. I will continue to use Philippine Airlines though probably in the future. Thank you."

Flights in time, crew is nice, value for money
They tried to charge me $850 US. For 1 extra bag. After complaint that amount is crazy. They brought the manager over who then told me to bring him $450 in cash and they would accept it Big Scam. After going to the bank machine in the airport and getting the money. The manger put the money in his pocket and took my bag I couldn’t do much because i was about to miss my flight STAY AWAY. From this airline They have some inside scam going on with their employees STAY AWAY. Don’t become a victim like I did
I was moved to a row of empty seats and it made my flight very comfortable. Unfortunately I got sick on the flight but the attention received from everyone was first class and may very well have saved my life. Thank you Scoot.

Khuyết điểm: "We were given just one very small water about 150ml and told we have to pay if we need more water. Restriction on providing drinking water in Business class seems unfair. Please reconsider"

Khuyết điểm: "The process to check and pay for a bag at the airport was ridiculous. We waited in line to check the bag, found out that since we hadn't paid for it ahead of time, we could get the bag checked but would need to go stand in a new line to pay for it and could not have the bag tag until this was done. Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later."

Khuyết điểm: "I get that it’s a budget flight, so no frills. I wasn’t expecting bottled water but at least offer some water in a cup. The water bottles being sold was expensive and too small. They encourage us to stay hydrated but not everybody can keep shelling out money for water, and strictly no outside food or drinks. Can they at least allow us to bring water, short flights not so much a problem but long flights, not so good for that strict rule."

Paid for priority boarding: No priority security queue, no priority boarding. Paid for priority baggage: Took 60 minutes from landing for baggage to arrive. No priority, except for crew bags. Food was disgusting. Hard to determine where the plastic finished and the pasta started. There was no service, other than dumping a hot plastic box in your lap."
Khuyết điểm: "This was a return flight I was taking. But even though I paid for a bag when booking, Kayak only booked the bag on the flight over. It there for cost me $48 to book the bag on at the airport one way back. For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again."

Ưu: "Nothing. Website did not notify me when booking that visa for us was required so I did not even get to fly to my destination which was a waste of my time and money to drive 5hrs to the city and not get any of my money back."

Wasted my time/money so I didnt even get to go to Vietnam n wasted a 5hr drive to my city. At least could have gave me some future discount code since I couldn’t get any money back"

I paid for extra luggage of 40 kgs, then I unselected the assigned seating since I didn’t care where I sat, and I would rather use that money to pay for the extra luggage. I double checked several times before proceeding. At the check in counter, guess who had to pay extra because apparently the 40 kgs did not go through."

Ưu: "When we got to Manila, it was raining so bad. We had to get off the plane onto a bus. They handed us an umbrella to keep dry from the deluge. It was much needed, under the circumstances."
Ưu: "After dozens of flights finally left and arrived on time. Actually had a jetway at manila too! Was seated in premium seats row 2 ...what a difference cimpared with the crapoy cramped rows in the back!"

Ưu: "The timing of the Cebu Pacific flight from Bali to Manila was fantastic. Short immigrations lines in Bali and upon arrival in Manila. Seats were better than expected, although we paid extra for the 2nd row. Crew was professional."

On top she did not return the booking form. Luckily I had a second copy or my filipino friend would have been stopped by filipino immigration."

Cramped as usual but not really an issue for an hour flight, but obviously the departure slot had been missed resulting in a 30 minute wait on the tarmac. At least the flight wasn't cancelled as happened to me last time!"
