Delays in boarding and takoff
Departure was on time and arrived early. Second meal in business class could have been later; did not need to be woken up just yet and would have preferred more of a breakfast closer to arrival.
Boarding process could be improved by breaking the process into smaller batches in a organized manner. Discourage passengers from crowding the boarding area. Meals could be improved . Received identical Meal items on both flights - Diabetic
There was difficulty with my connecting flight due to inconsistent COVID regulations. I was almost not allowed on, despite fulfilling all my requirements for my destination country. I was over-billed by Alaska Airlines for my luggage as well.

The Singapore Airways website does not state this anywhere, and it was not until I arrived at the airport that I was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in, but nor could I refund or transfer the ticket. The booker should be obliged, when one enters the passport information upon purchasing the ticket, to make note if the passport expiration time is not valid for the flight. Spent $600+ on the flight, and the customer service person I spoke to from the airport was very abrasive and not interested in helping me figure out an alternative."

Overall a great experience, but would have liked it to be a 12hr experience instead of 5."

As I had ordered a Hindu meal, I was served the same dish from Zurich to Istanbul and 2 more meals from Istanbul to Miami - of the SAME meal. Thee was no variety offered for me at all. The entertainment system did not work half the time as there was no access to recent movies etc. The flight attendant (male) spilled water on me, while trying to serve me and I was soaking wet from water from the bottle on my shirt and pants - and besides thrusting a few paper towels at me - nothing else was done and the flight attendant did not check back on me to see how I was doing. The check in process was meh, with the staff in Zurich insisting that I could not be given a more comfortable spot with my recently broken foot healing. Yet in the flight to Miami so many seats were empty while I was squashed and was forced to buy my aisle seat. For such a usually excellent airline, this experience was not in its quality and class of its usual service. It was disappointing.

Really enjoyed flying on Turkish Airlines. The flight was full but the seats were comfortable, the airplane modern and good entertainment. The food selection could be a little better but all in all the flight was very good.

The same lack of communication occurs once you on board. I joked to my wife that the cargo on a Fed-Ex flight is given more information. Arrived in Istanbul with a very tight connection. Airplane was not given a gate so we needed to take a bus to terminal. The bus dropped us just about as far from our connecting gate as possible. Since it took four buses to transport passengers, one could have been designated for US bound transfer passengers (who were all leaving from same group of gates) and taken us directly there."

WHEN WE ASK HER TO CALL PASSPORT CONTROL (BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT US TO THEM) TO SPEAK TO THEM YOURSELF, SHE SAYS "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHICH THEN MADE ME SNAP AT HER AND TELL HER WTF DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM? YOU WORK HERE!!" SO WHEN I ASK FOR THE MANAGERS NUMBER FOR COMPLAINT SHE GIVES ME A 5 DIGIT NUMBER THAT LOOKS MORE LIKE A ZIP CODE THEN A PHONE NUMBER. THEN WE GO BACK TO PASSPORT CONTROL WHO TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE A FREE HOTEL AND FOOD THEY CHANGED THERE STORY AND DIRECTED US TO PAY FOR A VISA AND PAY FOR A HOTEL OUTSIDE. SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. THIS IS WHEN I WAS COMING BACK WITH TURKISH AIRLINES. GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION THE FLIGHT WAS LATE 4 HOURS AND LUCKILY FOR US WE HAD A LONG LAYOVER THAT WE DIDNT MISS MY FLIGHT GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION. SO GOING AND RETURNING FLIGHT WAS LATE! WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! I WOULD NEVER FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES! AND WHILE I WAS THERE FINALLY GETTING READY TO GO HOME A MAN SAT BEHIND ME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS GOING ON THE SAME FLIGHT AS HIM AND I TOLD HIM NO WHICH THEN HE STRIKES UP THE CONVERSATION AS TO HOW TURKISH AIRLINES MADE HIM MISS HIS FIGHT AND GAVE HIM HELL! I could tell the staff was just as tired of the long day as I was, but they held it together and performed adequately. I thought we were all going to die on the landing! I don't know what happened, but I was waiting any moment for the 777 to just roll and go up in flames! It took 1 hour and a half to get our checked bags. Don't know if there is a way to speed that up, but it was the icing on the cake after having spent 16 hours on the plane."

Khuyết điểm: "At 6'3" I was a bit jammed up in Economy Security was a bit overdone. Initial screening X-Ray carry on bags, thru metal detector. After landing Zurich--Istanbul, again thru xRay and hand screening, then again at gate complete screening again. I guess better too much than not enough."

There are snacks like muffin available "anytime" On our long flight from Atlanta to Paris I pressed the button 3 times to see if I could get a muffin, but the attendant alert was turned off remotely and no one came to check on me. Thank God it wasn't some sort of emergency."

If you have a layover longer than 10 hours in Istanbul and are flying Turkish airlines, they will take care of your accommodations and wil treat you wonderfully."

Khuyết điểm: "We missed our flight from Istanbul to New York. The gate was changed while we were waiting at the assigned gate. No announcements were made about the gate change. We ended up stranded in Istanbul. The Turkish Airlines representatives were very rude and not helpful at all. They told me that we needed to purchase new tickets. My 14 year old and I were in Istanbul, Turkey with no way home. After hours on the phone with their customer service and many repeated phone calls and many collect phone calls to the United States, my mother was finally able to secure new plane tickets for $2000 one way for us to return to the states. We were in the airport for 24 hours before we could board a flight to make our way home. A few days after we arrived back is when the terrorist attacks occurred. I have been plagued with flashbacks of our time in the Istanbul airport. I feel that Turkish Airlines could have done a better job at trying to accommodate us in a time of desperation. I have been reluctant to contact them upon my return and a friend offered to call on my behalf and was treated in the same disrespectful manner. I would hate to think that Turkish Airlines could be representative of the people of Turkey. I can't imagine that Turkey or the citizens of this beautiful country could treat visitors in such a fashion. I appreciate your time in reading about our personal and devastating experiences during our trip that was to have been the trip of a lifetime with my son."

Our flight was canceled and had to stand in line for 3 hours and 11 minutes to get on a flight to Florence Italy for the same day. They couldn’t get us to Genoa for 36 hours and had to go through Rome no direct flight. We will be contacting customer service for compensation for a hotel stay in Florence and train tickets to reach our destination Genoa Italy.
To charge $39 for a list and found help ticket is extortion—will they find my item for that price?

So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Will spend a little extra money and fly on other airlines......very poor, disorganized, and horrendous flight experience. Buyer beware."

Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! The original flight on 15th canceled but not informed the passenger. The next flight allocated was for 20th. Why 5 days later. This is unacceptable

I requested the wheelchair and they dont wana give it to me, I had no choice but to call their supervisor and eventually got wheelchair only from jfk to abu dhabi. Worse experience."
