Transfer in Doha was not easy. We didn’t have any breathing room and we had to rush. We had to a bus for transfer and another bus to board the connecting flight to Chennai. That was bad approach and difficult for older people to climb the steps.
The entire crew was awesome, very courteous and well above the standard. Keep up the good service and I would want to travel more with Qatar Airways.

This is not Qatar Airways doing - New York JFK security B S, but I am sure airways companies have some say to change it."
Ưu: "On March 4, my wife and I made a flight from New York to Sydney with a transfer in Doha, Qatar. We flew the Qatar airline business class. Everything was great despite a very large flight. New plane, very clean. Wide comfortable seats turning into a large comfortable bed. Great menu and good wine list. All staff are professionally trained and very friendly. All this made this flight very comfortable and we were not tired."

I proceeded to tell him I never got the main course, he apologized and told me that there was only an egg entree left. I went ahead and took it, then as a way to apologize he offered to get me a piece of fruit, a banana. I accepted but he never came back with it. It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."

I would be more concerned if my flight had a close connection if this is a standard practice. This was my first flight with Qatar. If the practice is standard I won't keep flying them."

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

We’ve been charged for our baggage on the way back although nothing was mentioned on the first flight
The seats are the worst ever. So uncomfortable. I did not have an option for checking in earlier.(day or anytime before). I could make a list of things that weren't to standard but I am trying to forget this experience.
It was a hassle trying to get our bag tagged all the way to Baltimore but apart from that. Everything was good

So after flying for nine hours from the U.S. overnight to London, we had to sit around the airport, while watching other planes take off on time. We got in so late to Madrid that our hotel room that we reserved months earlier was given away. After being awake for over 24 hours we had to walk around Madrid at 11:00 pm at night, looking for someplace to lay our weary heads."

If you do, there's no point of doing that, because there's one line for both check-in and luggage drop off. 2. If you arrive to the airport 1h45min before the flight (LOCAL flight!!!), you'll be among the last ones to check-in, because you will spend about an hour in the line (there's just two people at the register: one for economy and one for business). In the end everyone in the line will get checked in (thanks for that), but the flight will be delayed and Iberia will blame the security (which takes 5 min to pass, unlike the check-in process."

Over the next 2 days I spend 7 hours on the phone with Vamaya, Iberia and Finnair and no one could seem to help me. The story always changed and I was given crazy false information. I was even told my flight was changed to 8pm on departure date when it actually was leaving at 4:40 pm. I am glad I got to the airport early. I had to to deal with all my problems. In 30 years of travel I have never had an experience so frustration. I would love to speak to someone at Kayak."

We had to spend the night in an airport hotel and buy new tickets for a morning flight. We lost our car rental reservation and hotel reservation in Seville we made 2 months prior with the consequent 50% increase in rate when we reissue them the day of arrival. WE WERE NEVER REIMBURSED. What is worse, there customer personnel at the airports (Paris and Seville) were rude and careless. They told us to file a complaint thru the website in Spanish because they did not know the address of the English site and because they said '"in Iberia customer service, nobody reads English"."

At around 11 we were told that our pilots were too tired to fly and two other pilots might fly us but we wouldn't know untill 12:30 am. At 12:45 am we were told the back up pilots refused the trip. American Airlines has no back up plan for this apparently and the flight was cancelled till 9:30 am the next day. It was 2:00 am before I received a hotel voucher. Overall terrible experience."

Khuyết điểm: "It was seriously hot on this flight. I am very cold most of the time and I was sweating during parts of the flight. My husband is always warm and he was miserable all flight. Had to press the call button three times to get a glass of water when I was feeling ill. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and took awhile to get more. Couldn't sleep because of the temperature. Flight felt like it took double the time because it was so hot. Took forever to board and left way late, arrived late. Our flight over to Madrid was great, but this flight back was awful."

Jose the supervisor at sift 10!am was like a robot about the allocation sitting. Did not understand personal circumstances to have a family flying together on a 9 house flight. Customer service is generally useless and a very unpleasant experience, the new seat charges and the inflexibility is making me wonder if I will choose air Europa again for my flights from the US. Flight was also delay due to some lugage delays. Pretty messy experience overall."

I had to wait until the plane was boarded and hope that someone didnt show up to get in the plane. This was the first leg of other connections to go to Amsterdam and it was too close to ruin my complete itinerary."

Both the Air Europa desk attendants at the airport and the customer service agent on the phone took no action, telling me simply that they would take responsibility in Madrid, where I had a layover. Sure enough, I missed the connection, and the Air Europa staff in Madrid were even less helpful, showing practically no problem-solving ability and even less empathy. In the end, I couldn't leave Madrid until 24 hours later and had to cancel half of my weekend plans in New York, frustrating friends and family who were expecting me. Overall, this was a nightmare experience. The indifference shown by Air Europa staff was outrageous."

Please listen carefully to my below story that happened while my flight from Milan - Madrid ___ Madrid - Miami. I traveled on October, 16th from Miami - Madrid and while checking in to this flight, the gentleman on Air Europa check in desk , required me to pay for my luggage and my iternary already stated that my ticket allowes me to have one bag in cargo and one carry on baggage on board. After I met with the station supervisor and showing the receipt, she understood my rights and proceeded professionally checking me in and I made my flight perfectly all the way to Malpensa, Milan.. On October, 23rd, I was about to make my flight back from Malpensa, Milan - Barajas, Madrid to connect from Madrid to Miami as scheduled.. I proceeded in Malpensa ,Milan Airport to check in area number 5 on terminal 2, where Air Europa flight# UX 1066 is stationed to check in the PAX on this flight. Politely I asked the lady if it's possible to be seated by any emergency exits as I am ex - commerical 1st officer for almost 8 years and I will be able to assist in case of emergency, as I am familiar with evacation procedures.. she informed me that I have to pay for this service.. i totally understood and I didn't comment, while the lady reaction and the way she answered me, was really disrespectful.. Then she asked me to pay €150 for my luggage and I explained the same that happened in Miami airport.. but this time I was deeply disrespected by telling me YOU GO TO TICKETING OFFICE OR YOU WILL NOT TRAVEL...i asked the lady to speak to the supervisor.. the supervisor came after awhile and she was very kind, polite and helpful.. but she kept insisting that I have to pay for my luggage, even I showed her the flight iternirary staying that ONE LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD - 1ST BAG IS FREE - 2ND BAG COST $100... and I had only one bag... Then she saw the receipt and while reading it, another lady from the check in station needed the supervisor help, so she left and I found myself speaking to no one, except the lady who is in charge of my checking in process. Then I told her that it's not fair to pay for something that I already paid for. No one in life can imagine how rude, impolite and discriminating she was.. specially speaking to her colleague in Italian carrying a conversation that I can't understand at all.. but I was able only to understand one thing she mentioned many times while angry... ( La Arabo ).... Yes I am Arabic person from Egypt that love the world from east to west, South to north... and I am living in The United States Of America with a beautiful family that have friends from different cultures, religions and races... But I felt really discriminated at this point when she mentioned ( La Arabo ) many times.... Then she looked at me saying OK AIR SIR ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR BAG OR YOU ARE OK TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT ?"

She directed me to the TICKETING office.. I went there and was really very sad.. not for paying, for how come someone can treat a customer like that... or even a human..then when the gentleman asked me for the credit card, I dropped it on his table.. Yes I know that I did it not in a nice way.. but then i apologized to the gentleman.. and you can ask him that I told him that you have nothing to do with this.. and I should apologize.. he gave me the receipt that I still have it that prove paying €150 for my luggage.. I went through security and then proceeded to my gate with a huge feeling of happiness that I will see my family in the U.S soon after a long trip.. The craziest thing even happened while I was proceeding to the boarding gate, the lady took my boarding pass and informed me that I am not allowed to board the airplane for security reasons..What???? Why??? What did I do??? No one talk to me... The lady who was checking me in earlier was turning her face and smiling.... can you imagine?????? Can you imagine the abuse????? Then I told her what did I do ??? I am not a bad person to not be allowed to board the airplane... I don't carry a gun or anything that threatening the safety on the aircraft.. and you know What?? I started to cry while I feel that I am deeply discriminated.... they told me that the captain has the rights to refuse you being on board... Again, as an EX Commercial Pilot, I know very well that for security and safety reasons for the aircraft, the PIC has the authority not to accept a passenger on board, in case that this pax is threatening the airplane verbally, visually, mentally and physically by showing any extreme illness symptoms that would put the life of passengers on board in danger.... DO I AM ONE OF ALL THIS?????? I am someone who is never being in a police department for any criminal purposes and never threatened any human being life... so why I am not allowed to board the aircraft and go back home to see my family and go to my work that I gain my salary from, to pay my taxes to the country that I am resident in, The United States Of America.. And if you are planning to decline my boarding process, why would you let me pay €150 for the luggage???? Isn't it really unfair???? We all work hard to afford our living... so why to do this for me whime I am leaving my family in America to travel for business to afford living for my family.... it's not fair by any meaning or language...."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight from Barcelona on Air Europa took off late (because they shuttle you out in groups of 40 to the tarmac to board the plane). We arrived in Madrid and about 37 Boston bound passengers had to make a mad dash through the airport from terminal E to terminal A... a 22 minute dash. When we landed there was already "final boarding" listed. ( It would have been nice if the told us they would/could hold the plane). afyer our sweaty group arrived, we were stuck on the tarmac an additional 55 minutes because of traffic."
Ưu: "The plane was new and clean. Flight staff was pleasant."
Khuyết điểm: "Late take off and almost missed connecting flight to US. The connecting flight was at the very farthest gate from where we entered the terminal. Saw many AE passengers from my flight with disabilities and children struggling to make it to their connecting flights in Madrid."

Ưu: "We had no problems with boarding on time or checking our bags. Some reviews were upset about the in-flight entertainment (or lack thereof) but Netflix has a download option now and I pre-planned and binged an entire series on the flight. I didn't eat the food on the trip to Europe but on the way home I had the veggie pasta, wine, coffee and the pizza snack and it was all basically on par with other airplane food I've had. The attendants were also all fantastic and polite and helpful."

Entertainment in business was from the last century - no individual screens. An Ipad was handed to us resulting in a bunch of cables surrounding us through the entire trip."

The made me food to another seat (50 something) when I know I didn't have that seat. I would never recommend this airline - I travel often and plenty and have never been so humiliated and made to feel less than. They way I was asked to move was as if I was a disturbance , as if I sat next to the pilot of the plane ....it wasn't even offered an apology or asked kindly. It's unacceptable."

Khuyết điểm: "It was a connecting flight for a lot of people but the crew didn't say where to go for connections. I know that's not really their job, but many people (ourselves included) were running through the airport to first find then travel to our connections. A simple "go right for connections" could have sufficed because in a very un-airport-like move, there were no signs about connections, just gates, and our boarding pass for the connection said Gate ABC--which meant it was either Gate A (60 options), Gate B (60 options), or Gate C (60 options) and Gate A was slightly left and the other two were about a 30 minute run/walk. We had 45 minutes between flights, which we thought was reasonable, but we spent 15 of them trying to figure out where to go and asking airport employees who said follow the gate number and when we showed them Gate ABC, became confused because there was no gate number."
