The Korean Air flight left on time from Washington and the service on the flight was adequate but nothing special. The Jin Air flight for my second leg from Seoul to Bangkok was very much subpar. There was very little meal service and no entertainment whatsoever for a 5 1/2 hour flight. I didn’t read the fine print careful enough. I will avoid in the future any flight with Jin Air as a subsidiary of Korean Air.

The hostesses I felt were a bit sexist, perhaps due to being Korean. I asked for a glass of wine for myself and a whiskey on the rocks for my boyfriend. He was served a hefty glass 1st, and I was given my drink 2nd, which was a very small pour. I asked for more wine and was given only a tiny bit more."

AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
We sat at the gate for over 30 minutes due to poor communication with ground support. Thus we missed our connection at Heathrow to Manchester. We had to leave terminal and get re- ticketed and go through security again. Not very customer friendly. The instructions at customs on where to go were very poor. American Airlines should have addressed this in flight and provided assistance

However, after waiting on line when I got to the counter the attendant informed me that the flight was operated by American Airlines and I had to go to terminal 8. I ran to terminal 8 but by the time I got to the check in it was 6:15 and they said they said the check-in for the flight at 7(which was actually at 6:55pm) was closed for check-in. I was lucky enough that there was another Iberia flight (this one from terminal 7) st 8:30pm and the supervisor was able to find me a spot in that flight."

For example... if you want to make boarding quicker, build the cost of checked luggage into ticket prices so that you don't have people carrying everything on and clogging up the process. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. This phenomenon is real, and currently be investigated by congress. Call your senator."
