The flight was apparently overbooked but than at the last minute, they gave me and my girlfriend seats separated from each other. I sat in the back, she sat in front. It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

This passenger continually kept encroaching into my seat, either sitting on a portion of my leg or putting his shoulder over my shoulder, even at one point used me as lean on. It was a 9 hour flight of misery... I was definitely uncomfortable for majority of that flight due to the passenger in 40A on flight NH176"

Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

If you're further back or not so tall s difficult to see which queue is correct... quite a few people (not me fortunately!) got turned away because they don't know ANA's boarding system. Also a problem with boarding at HND where the overhead monitors show BIz but not First/Diamond. As some other reviews pointed out, BBC news just didn't work. CNN worked intermittently."

Every thing was told to us as an excuse from the weather, flight attendant was running late, not staffed enough, need supplies on the plane, someone died, planes needing de-icing, planes too small, planes overbooked... you name it they said it! New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

They are taking full advantage of it."

Ưu: "the crew was super nice. very friendly and caring. the entertainment was perfect. boarding was easy and timely."
Khuyết điểm: "the seats offer little to no lumbar support. this was midigated a little with the pillow and blanket, it didnt really do much. for someone who has lower back issues, this was a big problem, a reason i am dreading my flight home. on top of that, it was my first time flying internationally, so i had no clue i had to hunt down my flight via flight time board."

Khuyết điểm: "No entertainment system. Seriously? No TVs for an international flight?? They should at least tell you that in advance so you can download movies and bring your chargers. We didn't get drink service until about 2 hours into the flight. Terrible. Food was boring and bad. Finally- we had to pay for wine and beer. On a $1000 flight? I have traveled internationally at least 15 times and this was by far the worst flight yet."

Ưu: "Beautiful Planes , the rouge line is cheap on their international flights but only first class gets free entertainment . I was first class but my friend was economy and luckily had her own iPad or would not have been able to use anything , that being said the movies for her were still not free . The food was good as well and their regular planes from Europe are very large and beautiful"
Khuyết điểm: "Worst experiences I've had with customer service . The flight crew were fine but all ground service appeared overwhelmed and unable to assist customers . I had a flight to Athens that was in final boarding my friend still has not arrived the first person I asked said she didn't have time to look if she was still on the flight , the second told me it was private info and finally a 3rd let me know she had been rerouted and would arrive 8 hours after me in Athens and that her bag though made my flight . She did last minute make it via running to our plane but in that time they had given her seat away, she had to prove that she paid did and deserved a flight . The way home from Athens all of my aid Canada flights were delayed and late . I had a 3.5 hour layover in Seattle to switch carriers to make it home , my flight out of Vancouver was 2.5 hours delayed that they continually said was only another 10 minutes , versus being upfront that it was severely delayed . Long story worst experience I've had ."
Khuyết điểm: "3 mechanical problems. Two missed flights. 16 hours late. Lost luggage. The crew sent us at wrong place, we were stuck in a room until 6:30 am. We had to sleep on chairs. Everything that could go bad went bad. Will never ever fly with Air Canada again. That is a promise."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight departed from the gate late and then needed to return to the due to a door malfunction. After a 4 hour delay we were on our way. Bathrooms were closed before takeoff but no announcement was made that they would be open during the delay. No beverages were offered during the delay. Not all of the bathrooms were functional during the flight. The entertainment system is available through your iphone, ipad or computer. If you haven't downloaded the app prior to departing you can't use it and you then need to rent an ipad for $10 to watch movies."

Khuyết điểm: "Entertainment system is crappy and looks like it's from the 1990's. It needs a serious overhaul. I reserved windows seats and showed up to check and had been placed in the middle."
Ưu: "I liked the cabin crew. They worked really hard with what little they have to work with."
Khuyết điểm: "Old planes, aisles way too narrow and too long, made drink service take forever!! Dicey for a diabetic, even when I brought my own water on. Food was yuck. Plane smelled, but the bathrooms were stinky! Can't you put up a sign asking men to sit down?! Urine on the floor, as always. Window blinds were sticky. Will never fly Air Canada again if I have any other option!"

Khuyết điểm: "Uncomfortable seats. Unhelpful ground staff. I missed my connecting flight due to bad weather and the attitude of the Air Canada staff was total indifference. I was told by the ground staff in Philadelphia that someone will be there to help us to quickly get to our connecting flight. Not only was no one there , but the quicker route to the gate closes after 11pm making us take the long way, therefore ensuring that we would miss the connecting flight. The two employees making new reservations took more than an hour to deal with 7 passengers. If you're economy class not only do they not pay for a hotel, they do not help in any way whatsoever other than handing you a card with a phone number to call to make your reservations (at a discounted price). After arriving at the hotel at 3 am in the morning, checking out at 1pm and spending 10hrs at the airport I finally got on my flight and spent another 14 hours in an uncomfortable seat before arriving in Delhi. Overall a terrible experience. I will never fly Air Canada again. You can only truly judge a business by seeing how it behaves when something goes wrong. Air Canada failed miserably!"
