The boarding was a mess with the ground personal! Twice in a role transit in Narita both confusing, delays,, and many passengers were upset! They could do a much better job! All we saw are the girls busy running around but accomplish nothing!
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
The flight departed from CDG on time and was almost one hour early arriving in PHL. The on board cabin service in business class was mediocre at best. Make sure to pre-order your meal before travel because two selections were not available during flight. Quality of food is basic American with no creativity or imagination for the route of travel. Glad to use Global Entry on arrival at PHL; it did not take too long to wait for luggage in spite of several other overseas arrivals at PHL at the same time. Airlines should do a better job of staggering the departure times of international flights so that they do not all arrive at the destination at the same time. As an Executive Platinum American Airlines traveler (who paid full fare), I did not receive any special recognition before, during, or after my flight.

Lots of turbulence on this flight, which limited beverage service. Despite the length of the flight, there was only one beverage service, and the "snack" they handed out was a single packet of Biscoff cookies. It was a newer plane with outlets for plugging in devices and a shelf for placing a cell phone to view -- all that was great. The free entertainment was also great and much appreciated, as my husband had finished his book and needed something to amuse himself during the long trip. But if the airlines could just give us passengers a bit more seat space, it would improve things immensely; the guy next to me was well over 6-feet tall, and he couldn't help but extend his knees into my space.

I needed to rush out and had to wait for the baggage instead. I pleaded with the agent to allow me to fit the smallish bag under the seat to no avail."

Ưu: "I miss the first leg of my flight and they cancelled my whole ticket and didn’t rebook me. This was an intentional flight. I paid $1500 for the ticket and even when another airline was going to fly me to catch the second leg they denied me. This was my worst experience, I have missed flights before and I get rebooked pay some fee but I still get to my destination. I missed an opportunity to pay last respect to my dad. I’m so very disappointed"

I tried giving AA a chance, but compared to when I flew on WestJest two months prior for almost the exact same trip (I flew to San Francisco versus San Jose that time), WestJet was by far more superior in terms of customer service, boarding organization, and friendliness. First of all, what bugged me profusely was the lack of seat selection and the crazy pricing for certain seats. On WestJet, the emergency exit seats were available without any additional cost, yet AA was charging $66 USD to sit there. Furthermore, seats closer to Business class also carried a charge of $25 (or something like that) - ONLY because you get to board sooner. I would understand if there was extra legroom involved, but really, it's just a matter of sitting and getting off before anyone else. If anything, those seats should be given to passengers who have tight connecting flights and need to get off asap. even in those cases, you shouldn't be charging someone almost $30 just so they can make it to their next flight that YOUR company arranged within such a short time frame. But the most annoying thing about my trip with AA was the fact that I had to take out all of my belongings from my carry-on and carry them in my arms because there was no room left in the overhead compartments. Excuse me?? How is there not enough room? So I had to walk with my laptop, my iPad, my Beats headphones, my laptop and iPad charger, amongst other things, in my hands to the aircraft. Thank goodness I found a plastic bag, because otherwise I probably would have lost something expensive on that plane. Furthermore, as I walked to my seat, there was most definitely places that I could have stowed my carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments. You shouldn't let people put things like purses and bags of food in the overhead, when those can be stowed underneath the seats in front."

I also have trouble sleeping on flights and thought there would be the opportunity to watch TV/movies but this was not the case unless you wanted to pay extra. Most international flights already have this built in for free and should be included in the cost. What a disappointment flying on American was. I will take LAN or Copa from now on as my other options."

This was operated by American Airlines...they need to be nice and smile. I asked for a gluten-free meal which they did not have two hours later I find attendant gave me a meal from first class but someone did not eat. A little disappointed!"

The attitude at the ticket counter was "you're lucky to get any seat", flight was overbooked, the boarding process and deplaning were absurd with all the people bringing on way too much carry on luggage !!! It takes almost 30 min to get off the plane!!"

Ưu: "I was in a regular seat, but had more leg room than other airlines I've flown recently. I always put my bacpack and purse under the seat in front of me. On JetBlue and Frontier, I have to pull out the back pack during the flight to stretch my legs out, but not on either of these flights. This survey rates entertainment, but there was none. For me that's a great thing (I bring my own), so None gets the 5-star rating for my purposes. Uneventful flights--on time even with a short delay taking off out of MSP."
