Ưu: "Crew service was amazing - so diligent and courteous. They were incredibly well trained and I would rate their service level as being one of the most competitive within business class in Asia."

It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it."

Ưu: "I was so blown away by how amazing Eva Air is ! Boarding is incredibly organized. There is so much to watch on the tv. They make sure you are properly fed and are always going around with drinks. The crew is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is stocked with toothbrushes, sleep masks, and even a facial mist for when your skin gets dehydrated. Flights were very smooth and the captain is in constant communication. I was so very excited to fly on the Gudetama jet! I wish I could have taken a pillow!"

Khuyết điểm: "BUSINESS CLASS - After watching a YouTube video about PAL business class, my wife and I got sold to the idea of upgrading. We tried to do so on online check-in but the system wouldn’t allow us to change our seats. So we tried to buy the upgrade upon our baggage check-in but the attendant told us that we couldn’t for it is fully booked. We even tried to buy an upgrade to premium economy but was given the same answer. We told the attendant that it’s okay and thank you for checking. But as we were boarding, 3 people in front of us got upgraded to business class for free. This was very upsetting as there was no reason nor any explanation given to us. HOLDING GATE - On top of the above mentioned are the unorganized boarding. We were asked to scan our bags and our passports/boarding pass checked just to be at the gate. At the gate “holding area”, we couldn’t have water and there are no washrooms. If we wanted to have water or go to the washroom, we’d have to go out of the holding area and line-up and get scanned and our documents checked again. Mind you, this process was done already before entering the boarding area. PAL just redundantly did it at the gates. And there’s not enough seats for the waiting passengers at the gate. I saw people sitting down on the floor waiting for boarding. MABUHAY LOUNGE - My wife and I inquired about if we could buy access to the lounge but was declined. The reason given to us is that the lounge is only for business class flyers. There are no other lounge area in the Terminal 2. FOOD CHOICES - There are not a lot of food choices in Terminal 2. They have some for snacking but if you’re waiting or flight gets delayed, there’s a big chance that you’d end up eating the same food again. WILL I FLY PAL AGAIN? - My wife and I are frequent flyers. With all these reasons, until PAL get it together and do things the right way, we would not recommend nor fly PAL. Flight PR116 MNL-YVR July 22, 2018"

Despite handing everyone a menu, there was no choice of meal for breakfast because they ran out of the Filipino food. There was inedible sausage."

I was seated with a guy that was coughing all the entire 16 hours flight and I requested to be seated somewhere else but attendant simply said they can't do anything. I asked if they can ask someone a bit younger and fit to change seat with me but crew never got back to me. In fairness, they said they'll try."

Flight got delayed for almost one hour while trying to dock because there was no assigned hangar station for the plane! How can an international airline company allow themselves to be treated like that? The crew looked overworked - what are these airline companies doing to these young professionals - treat them like slaves? I'm not surprised - that's the Philippines companies ways - pay them just enough so they can come back the next time to work."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was delayed 2+ hours, not getting in Vancouver until after 5am. Everyone on the flight, passengers and staff were extremely rude. Never taking this airline again!! Also, there was no food left by the time the served me near the end of the plane."

Khuyết điểm: "I checked in early and was given a middle seat. I have back problems and walk with a cane and asked at the check in desk if I could have a window or aisle. I was told no because the flight was completely booked. I arrived three hours early and checked in online so I could get a better seat and they still said no. No one was able to help me. The flight was delayed over an hour and there was no apology. I always fly Philippine Airlines because IV always been really pleased with the service. This past flight makes me question that decision going forward."

Khuyết điểm: "First of all, both on my departure and return flight, despite having boarded 30 minutes ahead of schedule, we remained on the floor for an additional hour (both for taking and after landing). Next, the flight attendants did a poor job of ensuring that everyone did not get up when we landed and the seatbelt sign was on, and this led to herds of people running through the aisles and rushing to get off past those that were patiently waiting. The leg room is very limited, unless it is an empty flight. The red wine was perhaps the worst I have ever had. AND the wifi that was available for purchase was 40 USD for only 150 mb of data which is absolutely ridiculous."

Khuyết điểm: "our flight was pretty delayed due to another delayed flight from the night before, in which they decided to combine half the passengers in to our flight. They also did not communicate this effectively and check in was horrible."

Ưu: "Philippine airlines was a great airline to travel with, with friendly staff good food comfortable seats and lots of entertainment options for the flight there and back will definitely fly with them again."

Ưu: "We got 2 food vouchers one at night, the other early in the morning. However the food establishment was so pricy a chocolate bar was $7 USD."
Khuyết điểm: "13 hour delay, would not let us go home, would not cancel the flight, instead pushed the boarding time back one hour every hour starting at 4am. Flight was supposed to leave JFK by 11:55pm, we left at 1pm the following day. It wasn't solely due to the weather (we expected a slight delay), but in the morning, plenty of other flights were running regularly, while there were no updates. No one that cared, all the staff just told us it wasn't their fault. (Which is true to an extent), but all so mentioned that they were tired too, and they're exhausted too, which made many people angrier. They deflected a lot of statements."

Khuyết điểm: "There was confusion and poor organization at the check in counter. The check in started late and there was a 500 ft line up to check in at Philippine Airlines. We waited 2 hours in the plane for 4 people who were late for the flight, then the cargo handlers didn't show up. We left at 5am instead of 3am. The flight attendants didn't seem to know why we weren't leaving. Two short announcements were made in 2 hours that didn't explain properly why we sat there so long. The food was wretched. The flight attendants were pleasant but the captain and the purser's announcements were hard to understand with poor English."

Khuyết điểm: "Some of the equipment on the plane seemed dated and didn't work so that was a bummer. The attendants offered to move me to a another spot, but couldn't due to it being a full flight. Also the plane was two hours delayed leaving."

I chose the beef option — a small lump of "beef" that was overcooked and under sauced, accompanied by a sad pied of steamed broccoli and a disproportionately large portion of white rice. The quinoa salad was passable, but the "peach cobbler" dessert course was a flavorless mass of gelatinous goo."

Ưu: "Considering the price we paid for our tickets is the the only drawback I keep coming back to when I think about the VALUE of what I paid for.the entire flight. The overall experience was good throughout; from the airport on both ends of the journey to the actual inflight experience. I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."

Our party of three, which was husband and wife plus friend, were all seated separately. We could have opted for "pay extra" seating, but even that did not get us together, so we opted out."

Ưu: "Premium economy seats/service made the flight much more tolerable than previous overnight flight to Europe. Would definitely fly this class again. Non-stop from Charlotte to Madrid made travel relatively short."

Khuyết điểm: "Purchased business class seats, boarded in group 5. Had no where to put my 1 backpack. All the storage up front was gone. Why should I pay extra for a seat if I have to wait for everyone to get off the plane so I can go back 10 seat rows to get my bag. Dirty tray tables."

Ưu: "Got to see The Shape of Water from DFW to PDX in advance of the Oscars! Nice clear image and sound. Thanks American, you've upped your game from a few years back!"

Khuyết điểm: "newer touch screens were great except viewing angle couldn't be adjusted. standard food was horrible, esp for an international flight; not sure if specialty diets have better meals. kid movies were dubbed into many language options but Chinese was not one for ANY kid films. bathrooms with the same crappy mini sinks that you can't really wash your hands in, esp if someone pukes in it. they should all learn from Japan's ANA airliners with the motion sensor sinks with faucets raised up high enough for you to wash your hands without touching the gross basin."

Khuyết điểm: "The layover in Boston was an hour or so, but the miscommunication between American Airlines and Iberia was such, that my luggage never left the US. I am very upset cause Iberia did not even provided any good ground help in Lisbon - Portugal, with the most rude personnel I ever had to deal with that was actually annoyed I was complaining they lost my luggage, they offer no assisatance."

Ưu: "We know it's high season, we got to Milan save. That's the main part, overnight flight so that was good we slept a little."

Ưu: "Seemed to have more leg room than average. Generally fine. I got to my destination without incident, and that is the most important thing! But flying today is awful. Uncomfortable, unpleasant, stressful, etc., all so the airlines (and their CEOs) can make millions."
Khuyết điểm: "Crew was "all business" -- not many smiles. They offered the usually .5 ounce of pretzels or two cookies. Passengers routinely asked "can I have both?" and the answer was routinely: no. Really? My $300+ ticket isn't worth pretzels AND two cookies? Seems silly. And, you know that have BOXES of these free snacks."
