Flying is very stressful for me, and I want the staff to make it as stress-free as possible. As for boarding, I wasn't allowed into the gate until an hour before. What really bothered me was that they had already let some people into the gate and shut some other people out. Either let people in or don't. Don't follow the rules halfway because then they won't mean anything. I was very shocked by this and have never experienced this at any airline before. All I wanted to do was sit down and relax at the gate before boarding. If this ever happened to me again, I would not fly with the same airlines. To think that this was a JAL flight, with such a high reputation of customer service, makes me even more wary of booking a flight with JAL. I didn't appreciate being treated that way, and I will not tolerate it if it happens again."

Of course there was a problem with my reservation that they had never seen before which manifested itself by them not being able to print my boarding pass. They called Tokyo and were told that they had never seen my problem before either. Anyway, the ticketing supervisor stayed with me for 45 minutes until they could over come the problem. I would be a rich man if I had a nickel for every 'So-sorry' I got that day."

The bus eventually came, offloaded half the passengers and then returned 20 minutes later to start to offload the rest. It's the longest time I've ever spend disembarking from a plane and clearing an airport - very poor whoever was responsible (I'm assuming Sydney airport was at fault)."

We were advised they changed us to a bulkhead row w/an unoccupied seat adjacent to his. Twice during the flight one of the flight attendants came to tell him that she would help him off the plane so to wait for her after the rest of the passengers disembarked. The meal was very tasty.Chicken karaage was not crispy but I wouldn't expect it to be. The rest of the items were well seasoned with the right consistency. Dessert was a flan custard with passion fruit sauce (very Hawaii!), even including a few seeds from the fruit as garnish."

Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

The flights were delayed by a few minutes, which led to me stressing to make it on time to my flights, and I felt dehydrated and nauseous. Also the website doesn’t specify that we will have to purchase meals either before hand or on board, and that the airlines only took cash and no credit card. It was miserable, a whole 20+ hour flight with lots of stress of catching my flight, checking and the checking my baggage, and being hungry and thirsty because I didn’t carry enough cash on me."

Khuyết điểm: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

Khuyết điểm: "My SAS flight (which was operated by Air Canada) was delayed by more than 2 hours. A friend who was a fellow passenger was charged for 1 piece of baggage. She should have gotten a break from the baggage fee because of the delayed departure. That's another thing. Why is it that some passengers (like my friends and I) didn't have to pay for our checked baggage, but some passengers (like my other friend) had to fork out a fee for her checked baggage? While we were waiting for our trash (after our meals) to be picked up by a lady crew member, she took so long chatting with a couple of passengers that we had to wait a few minutes before she can get our trash. By then I was dying to get to the bathroom and nearly had an accident as a result. In the future, I'll try to avoid flying with any SAS flight (operated by Air Canada) if I can help it."

No one advised that there was another plane shortly, which would have reduced the feeling that we had to sprint down to the gate. Otherwise a very good flight"

I made it to my final destination 24 hours later than original itinerary, almost all of which was spent in airport lines. My bag didn't arrive until 5 days later...on the wrong porch."

I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

I purchased a carry on bag specifically to meet their regs, yet it had it go in the bin longways, taking up a ton of room. The bins are tall, which is wasted space, when what they really need is another 1-2" in depth."
Ưu: "The crew at the gate were courteous and handled my inquiry professionally. Did not experience much because I slept through the whole thing. But the seat was comfortable."

Which means I literally had to stand by the gate and hope for other people to not show so I could take their seat."
Ưu: "Good flight overall - the Air Canada Rouge entertainment was not bad, but didn't work on one of our phones and I couldn't get it to work on my tablet (driver wouldn't load - and couldn't check for driver til we got on plane, so that was frustrating). No issues with the other phones and my ipad. Food was good."

When it came to our experience it's easy to see that it's systemic and come from the top down in that company. The lack of customer service training is apparent. It was rampant and the overall feeling was just plain rudeness exuding from every team member. I'll never fly Air Canada again."

We have heard from other people who travelled Rouge about how cold their flight was, too. I also didn't realize that there wouldn't be in-flight movies - unless you rented an i-pad, etc. That was a bit disappointing for a 6-hour flight. I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

Khuyết điểm: "Seats are extremely small and cramped. Temperature was too cold during the flight and there wasn't even a fan on so it was the cabin temperature which couldn't be adjusted. In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

Why are they not held to the stated rules for size, quantity and weight? It would make everything much faster. If you can't lift your luggage into the overhead bin, it probably should be checked."
Ưu: "I liked the comfortable airplane. The bathroom we used by the front of the cabin was a great size bathroom. Food was OK but could have been better."
Khuyết điểm: "I upgraded the seats for me and my 9 year old daughter to economy premium for about $300 per seat. You would think they would give you two seats together considering you are flying with a minor. Nope! The seats were on different side of the isle and they had a seat between. One of the flight attendants was gonna accommodate us to be seated next to each other on the side with two seats only and my daughter was happy to be next to me. Another flight attendant comes after us and moves us to the middle where are 4 seats between the isles. I would recommend to ask what seats you are getting before boarding. I had picked two seats next to each other but in the meantime they sold the window seat to somebody else and moved me one seat away from my 9 year old daughter plus an isle between us. Will NEVER fly them again. I felt very uncomfortable and honestly like criminal while waiting for them to decide about my seating arrangements after paying additional $600 on the top of the regular fare. This was a flight from Paris to Montreal."

Khuyết điểm: "About 80% of my flight consisted of noisy Spanish high-school erst returning from some trip in Canada. They were loud and obnoxious and ruin the peace on the plane. This was an overnight flight and they ruined any chances of falling asleep. The problem came from the fact that the flight attendants could keep them under control. They, in turn, got annoyed and gave generally subpar and unpleasant service."
