It's the longest time I've ever spend disembarking from a plane and clearing an airport - very poor whoever was responsible (I'm assuming Sydney airport was at fault)."

My husband reserved my ticket going back to US. I was assigned to seat on an exit, but when I went to the gate , one of a female employee keeps telling me if I'm aware I'll be seating on an exit and I said yes , I look for a vacant seat so I can relax while waiting, she went back again and asked me if the front desk desk gave me any paper about the task I have to do when seating on an exit. I read it and understand . She came back again for the third time and borrow my boarding pass and check something and asked me if I want to transfer to another seat, and I said no. I don't know what she wants me to do , but I'm so irritated because she keeps asking me the same question over and over again."

Ưu: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

Khuyết điểm: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

Ground staff was waiting for me with a small car after I disembarked to drive me to the gate. And I somehow made my connection. Excellent service. Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. I'm super impressed to this attention to detail."

Overbooked flight. My wife and I got split up. I have a replaced disk in my neck (kids behind me constantly kickin my seat) made for a painful and unpleasant flight. (Staff did nothing to prevent this)

The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

I’m not sure flight with such short connections should be sold at all - with the previous flight being late 20 minutes, we were met at arrival gate by Qatar airlines employee that told us our connecting flight left without us. They helped us with everything onward- getting new boarding passses, hotel and meal vouchers, but all of this should not have been needed if such short connections were not sold."

They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

Asiana was fine. It was Budget airlines that Kayak works with that were downright crooks. This is not a company that Kayak should work with. Working with them made me actually trust Kayak much less.

Fine, I get it's for safety. But to make matters worse, my child had a fever and cried out of discomfort for the first 3 hours of a 10 hour flight. A male passenger complained and instead of defending a mother and a helpless sick child, the flight crew kept insisting ways to make my baby stop crying. Do you think I wanted to hear my child in that much pain? No, of course not. One male crew member told me to take my child to the back of thr aircraft (away from the complaining man). Ummm... I paid for my seat just like everyone else!! To be treated differently just because my baby is crying is HORRIBLE. To top it off, the seats are the worst I've ever sat in. My back and butt were in so much pain from those horrible seats. Bottom line- I will NEVER fly with this airline again after the mistreatment my baby and I received. This airline puts Korean speaking men above anyone else's needs, including a helpless 14 month old who feels horrible and doesn't know how else to communicate pain. I'll add that we were on a 10 hour flight after a 9 hour layover in Incheon and a 4 hour plane ride that was DELAYED from 1:45AM to 3:45AM. We were extremely tired and had been through so much already. If the crew had been more protective of us and understanding to the fact that he's a BABY I would have let the complaints slide. Last note- this airline delayed us 3 separate times. Yes.. 3 separate occasions. Do I need to say anything more?"

Khuyết điểm: "Due to problems loading luggage, and not really knowing what to do, my flight was delayed over three hours, made me miss my layover by fifteen minutes and get stuck in Korea, they provided me with another ticket, but since they didn't have another direct flight, they put me on another layover. My next flight with Asiana to the US from Korea encountered another problem and I was further delayed another two hours, with another two hour layover in LA. The cabin crew was friendly, but not very useful. They provided food, but no help. This is the worst Star Alliance airline I have ever flown. I will not be a returning customer."
Ưu: "This airline and this model of aircraft (Airbus 380) makes a 14 hr transpacific flight almost enjoyable! We've flown this route numerous time and this was by far the most comfortable experience"
Ưu: "The price: my round trip ticket from Tokyo Haneda to JFK was only 850USD The layover is only 2 hours which is bearable and enough time to find the boarding gate and a little shopping."
Khuyết điểm: "Everything else. You can check-in online within 48 hrs before your flight, but there is no QR code produced on their app for paperless check-in. The food was terrible, and the seats were not made for long flights. I really felt the "economy" vibe. They only provide disposable slippers, but everything else you need to check the lavatories if there were toothbrushes or mouthwash packets left. Overall, I will still consider flying this airline for any emergency flight back to the US, but if there will be a compeittive airline, maybe i'd try another. Their business class seem enticing.. maybe comsoder it too."

For a 12 hour flight this makes things extremely uncomfortable. Also the plane was a little older and the seats were hard and uncomfortable. The in flight entertainment system was also hard to use, unresponsive touch screen and strange little remote. Additionally we sat on the tarmac for an hour waiting for flight documentation. This not only caused us to miss our bus once we arrived at our final destination, but also added another hour to an already very long flight. The captain was not very forthcoming with information about the delay. Overall the experience was unpleasant and I don't look forward to having to repeat it."
Ưu: "I liked being seated toward the back of the plane so that me and my cat had some privacy. The crew was very polite and gave me thorough instructions for transporting my cats."
Khuyết điểm: "I bought a carrier for my cat that fit the airline's specifications, but it didn't fit all the way under the seat. Because of this, I had to put my cat in the overhead bin during takeoff. This gave me and my cat a lot of stress, although they let me take her out during the landing. Also I thought the airline would open much earlier than my flight so that I could ensure the safe transfer of my pet-in-cargo."
Ưu: "Flight was great, food was what you'd expect but above average if you have no expectations. Crew was nice and entertainment had a wide selection of recent movies. Comfort was ok and complimentary blankets could be requested."

This is an expected attitude if you fly anywhere with mainland Chinese passengers . If escalated it would result in her screaming and complaining. But it is an Asian airline and I can't control the passenger who choose to fly so I can't complain too much. Still would recommend to friends."

It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight."

Ưu: "The outlet on the armrest for the headphones was broken. 10+ hour flight and unable to watch a movie or listen to music. Flight was fully booked, so I was unable to move to a different seat. Flight attendants were very kind. Food was terrible and it took forever to get a drink - served AFTER the meal was served. When later beverages were offered, it was coffee/tea at one point. Other than that they walked around with a tray occasionally with glasses of orange juice or water -- no ice. Only passed through with the full beverages cart once during the fight. I completed a complaint form and still have not heard back from the airline. Paid full price for a one-way ticket. Did NOT get muy money's worth."
