My trip was very good on Japan Airlines. I used the wheelchair service and everyone was very helpful! The food was a step down from what I experienced before when a Japanese choice was offered.
Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
I book my tickets thru kayak.com and when we are boarding, 6 of us sit in 6 different places. I have 3 kids and a senior mother. The crew are nice, but not willing to work with other passengers to change the sit for us. Kayak didn't send the seat assignment ahead so I didn't know we are not sitting together. Specially 11 hrs flight. ☹️
Had not flied in a while. Overall ok. But it is frustrating when there are multiple fingers in the equation. Jim

Tv is in readable large and clear with a mini screen in the remote. The food was outstanding. Waygu beef medium rare. Washrooms are the cleanest in the sky. Definite repeat!"

Cabin foods are generous, filled with variety and tasting the best among various international airlines that I have experienced between LAX and Taipei, Taiwan in the past ten years. The seat belt on light and bell were kept at minimal, in contrast to other airlines like EVA, China Airlines, Korean Airlines and United Airlines."

Flight was cancelled and the only reschedule time they could manage was the next day at 830pm. No advanced warning or viable options to choose from. Absolutely horrible experience spending 12 hours in an airport trying to get home.
Great flight overall. We boarded quickly and the flight attendants were happy and efficient. We sat on an exit row so plenty of room.
Great, easy, and quick flight
I liked that they were quick with the groups to board. I think availability to watch or use the entertainment on board could have been better such as a screen in the back of the seat in front of everyone would make sense.
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
Flight was 3 hrs late for no apparent reason. Got assigned into last row by the bathroom with 2 yo child extremely tired and anxious because ether delay
Liked the entertaining pilot on flight into Portland maine Disliked the incessant announcements as usual on every flight. They are typically way too loud and actually hurt my ears
Some kind of beverage could’ve been offered at least.
Two meals were served in the First class during 9hr long flight! Great for domestic!!! Mai Tai drink was excellent!
We arrived early, then sat on the runway for almost an hr. I then missed my connecting flight.

Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!"

We sat there for an hour before taking off but i understand its due to the weather but it was my worst plane ride not worth 300dollars. I will not ride american airline again."

Ưu: "Immediately after I finished with the check in agent, two men flashed police badges, grabbed my bags, and took me to a sketchy back room upstairs and absolutely tore apart my bags. While my bags were being searched they peppered me with questions. It lasted about 20 minutes and it was extraordinaryly stressful because they didn't seem to care if I was going to miss my flight. Normally, i wouldn't blame the airline for this, but another lady who was similarly harassed said that when she asked someone they said that if you're traveling alone and booked online, you got flagged for this extra screening. (A young German man was also dragged to the back room... we were all very non-Andean looking). That is ridiculous criteria to prevent anything- terrorism or drug smuggling! I would think the airline/police could come up with better criteria. Also, there was no drug sniffing dog and they didn't even have me turn on my gigantic camera... which I have had to do in the past to demonstrate that it was functional. Horrible."
