I wonder of the attendants could have been a little more firm with the mother to ask her not to let the child roam the aisle."

Ưu: "Let's face it - flying b-class is pretty awesome, so for $3300, it was really great. Loved the food selections, though I did feel the food was a little on the heavy side. I had the Japanese fare, which was lighter, but a little more salted than what I prefer - but over all very good. Service was amazing - the crew is super-nice. The plane, a massive 787 jet, absorbed the turbulence like it was nothing. It was like riding in one of those Cadillacs from the 1970's. The lavatories were big enough that I could actually stand up straight (and I'm 6'0"). The seats were pretty good as well - they had a feature for extension of the seating surface to allow for more thigh support (which I love) as well as great lumbar support. the movie selection was OK - neither great nor bad, and I ended up watching 4 movies during the flight anyway. ;)"
Khuyết điểm: "I preface this section by saying that I'm being very nit-picky here - there's not much I can really say, except that the seats, while they will recline to a flat surface, which is great for dozing off, they are angled about 15 degrees so you're constantly sliding down them in that position. Also, there could be more support for your head in the reclined position - I had to futz with pillows and a blanket to get that comfortable. However, the reclined position was the most comfortable, and I could get it so that I was sufficiently reclined with my legs extended and horizontal, while laying back without sliding down. This was sufficient for resting. I'm only mentioning this because I flew a business class flight on Delta in 2015 which had ridiculously amazing seats that reclined all the way flat and horizontal. On the 9-11 hour flight from Tokyo back to San Diego, which will take place mainly at night, this would be a very useful feature."

Departing from San Diego, this was only an option once a year I was told at the check in counter. I was counting on extra width and legroom as I am 270 lbs and 73" tall. I was disappointed that these up-gradable seats were not available. I also did not like that we sat on the Oksaka tarmac at a divert airport from Narita (Tokyo) and were not given an option to leave the plane and find alternate transportation of our choice to get us to our destination. I understand the high winds and bad weather was not allowing us to land on time, but we sat on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours and then left to fly into Narita 5 hours late."

Ưu: "I traveled with my wife and twin sons who turned two last month. It was our first time to fly with the boys, and we were nervous about the flight for this reason. Thanks to ANA's staff both on the ground and in the air, everything went very smoothly. When we arrived at Haneda Airport (around 1:30pm), we went to the Special Assistance counter to get a stroller. The staff was friendly and patient, and didn't rush us at all. (It took a little while to get our things in order.) I was surprised to learn that we could check in from there, drop off our checked luggage and receive boarding passes, as well as an airport stroller. In addition, the boy who was awake at the time received an ANA airplane clip. We didn't get to the gate in time for pre-boarding. I was dismayed to find out that we'd have to take a bus to the aircraft. We had the maximum number of carry-on bags, plus two babies, only one of whom was in a carrier, and we learned that the stroller couldn't go on the bus. A gate agent brought our carry-ons onto the bus. She found priority seats for us and a place nearby to fit a bag that couldn't fit on one of our laps. On board, the cabin attendants were attentive and friendly, and gave toys to the boys. When we arrived at Hagi-Iwami Airport, two of them even carried all of our carry-on bags off the plane for us. (They also helped with our carry-on luggage upon returning to Tokyo. In fact, we had forgotten to reserve a stroller for when we deplaned, and a flight attendant tried to find one near the gate, to no avail.) When I think about all the positive experiences we had in a span of about three and a half hours, I am amazed at all the different people who helped to make our journey easier. I cannot imagine it happening in my home country or on most airlines I have flown."

I understand this carrier needs to cater to a broad cultural and geographic audience, but I think they make it too complicated. Giving meal service a decidedly Japanese angle results in main courses that are mush, and sides that are OK. Good yogurt, decent fruit, delicately prepared salads, delicious cookies and hagen daz are pretty simple and make the meals fun. (especially since chop sticks are always included), but the ovens turn the main courses into a stinky and kinda nasty thing. I wish they would simplify."

Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Khuyết điểm: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Ưu: "The A380 is an amazing plane. The flight was smooth and the engine sounds were fairly low."
Khuyết điểm: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

At night when I was hungry, I asked the flight attendant for some snack, both a male and a female served at my cabin said, "we don't have that." I expected SQ staff to serve one step further, instead of stopping at a no. Can't you recommend something? Throughout the entire trip, whenever I asked something, the way they answered always made me feel that I was a trouble to them. Is it because I was in an economy class and that's how you treat me? SQ, you may want to change what you are proud of. It's no longer a first class service, at least not to us poor economy class passengers."

Khuyết điểm: "American dropped the ball when my 77 year old Mother was not met with a wheelchair. This is inexcusable! She was in tears and no one seemed to care! They were nice enough to let her change from a window to an aisle."
Ưu: "At 6' 2" I was surprised that, with the seat in front of me not reclined (and fortunately no one ever did), my knees actually had a bit of room and were not pressed into the seat back in front of me. That and the flight schedule went smoothly - everything was on time."

Our plane left 45 minutes late from Phoenix because of a gas spill so when we got to Vancouver from Phoenix, we had to go through customs which took extra time. When we first landed in Vancouver and before we even got off the plane, we had 5 minutes to board onto our next flight which obviously was not going to happen. We rushed through customs and still might have been able to board our flight at the last possible minute except the staff at the airport led us to somehow get out of the secure area and have to go through security again before going to our gate. That took so much extra time. This never should have happened. When you get off the plane and have a connecting flight, there is always a way to get to the gate to board without having to go through security again. When we finally made it to our gate for our connecting flight, our plane had left and we were told to go to the air canada service desk. There was about 10 to 15 of us that had missed our connecting flight because of this so the 2 staff at the desk were trying to help us all but had to wait for their manager to come and confirm they could give us another flight which took quite a bit longer than I thought. We ended up getting booked on standby on a flight straight from Vancouver to Saskatoon in 2 hours which was our final destination, but never was told that because of all this headache, we should have grabbed our luggage. We thought our luggage was going to go on without us on the flight we missed but apparently if you do not get on your flight they don’t send your bags which makes sense. We also had thought for a second that maybe our luggage didn’t go on the flight from Vancouver to Calgary but if it didn’t then someone would most likely put it on the flight to Saskatoon. We should have asked about it but they should also have mentioned it when we were in a panic. And I understand you can’t put extra people on a flight that is booked, but what if the plane we were on standby for was full and we had to wait even longer .. could have taken us a day to get home when this wasn’t our fault we missed our flight, but was air Canada’s."

My knees were squeezed into the seat in front, and when they reclined, the seat was like 1.5 cellphone lengths from my face. The particular route from SD to Toronto squeezes 15 more seats on this popular plane, making it the least knee room I can remember. I wouldnt say Air Canada has less legroom as a generalization, but this route and plane assigned has the least. I guess if you're taller, do a little research on the planes for your routes. No actual wi-fi was kind of annoying. You can access some content, but no real internet connection."

Ưu: "We were eventually given meal vouchers. We also ended up staying an extra night on their coin since we had to miss our connecting flight.We were treated fairly but slowly. We would have had an eight hour transit in Vancouver but with the new flights there was one hour connection. With the replacement flight also late our luggage did not make it and we were not informed until we reached Australia."
Khuyết điểm: "There were little babies and young children waiting with their parents to board this flight. Would have liked more consideration for them but the little ones all behaved so well! Updates were slow and then we had to pick up our luggage and wait in an area where there were no seats so we had to sit on the hard floor (or stand) for a long time."
Ưu: "This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Out flight from Calgary to LAX was on the complete other side of the airport than our connector to San Diego. After a delay we had a short amount of time to get to the next flight. We literally were told to just cross the parking lot. Well... that ended up being a 25 minute run across the airport to only have to go thru security again. After navigating construction and parking structures we got to our gate 10 minutes late and would not be let on the flight. There was zero communication, sympathy or help from the United Airlines staff. We were told it was not their problem because we came in through Air Canada- BUT we booked through United! All in all it was an absolute nightmare that ended in us renting a car at 12am and driving back to San Diego with zero compensation from United Airlines"

Khuyết điểm: "YVR airport's Air Canada staff was extremely unprofessional. First, they cancelled my original itinerary and moved me to a flight 3 hours later. Now I understand it was holidays so I was okay thus far. I got to the airport 2 hours before the departure time and even though I had check-in online, I was requested to get into "Check-in assistance" line instead of the "baggage drop". The "Check-in assistance" line had multiple people rebooking their flights when at the counter (on an average each person was being held for 15 minutes by the slow staff). By the time I reached the counter, I was told that the gate had been closed and I will have to rebook. The staff said at that point that it was "just the way it is" and their terms and conditions have this clause saying they don't guarantee people will be boarded. Well, sure, don't board them if they're late but don't delay them on purpose and then strike them off the boarding list. Very Very disappointed."

Leg room is good as we can stretch our legs (I guess you can say that we are not that tall) we wish to travel again with Air Canada in the future."

The service by ground staff on both sides was excellent, The staff on board was helpful, efficient and very polite. In flight Entertainment was good too, unlike on the way to San Diego when the choice was so limited it was not worth my time to use it."

No communication between staff, was told something different by each person I spoke with. Flew to London & didn't get my bag for 3 days. Flight delays put me in to London a day late, wearing same clothes without access to my bag & lost 4 more hours of site-seeing time following day calling the airline & trying to meet up with courier delivering my bag. Then on my 7hr midday flight back to the states our plane had no screens at all for in flight entertainment. Security and Customs check process was ridiculously long. Waiting in line after line, and the automated kiosks processing passports were fickle delaying lines & leading to further follow up by staff. Very confusing and overheard several passengers talking about missing connecting flights. I highly recommend not flying Air Canada until they become more organized."

Khuyết điểm: "When you roll up on clerk at the check-in counter and she's already eyeing your carry-on bag you know you're gonna have a problem. My bag was purchased a month ago and I made sure it met all major airline specs so when she immediately told me I'd have to check it, I told her it would fit no problem in her little mold. She insisted that it would not and I'd have to PAY to check it. I picked it up and easily popped it into the mould but my zipper snagged on the way in and she said that I was not allowed to "force" it in. I then easily lifted it in and out twice without the zipper snagging. Then she insisted that I weigh it. 22lbs is not much at all so I figured I might get caught here but to my surprise I was only at 23lbs. So she immediately said I would have to pay because I was over weight.... BY 1 LB! So I opened my bag and took out bag of carrots and put it back on the scale. She was so pissed that she couldn't charge me anything that she never made eye contact for the rest of the process. She then said that because I had my cat with me I could not sit in the row I had booked because it was an exit row. I insisted that it was not an exit row as I had just flown on the plane four days earlier with my cat in the same seat. She refused and moved me to a row with less leg room despite my having paid for the upgraded seat (I'm 6'4"). Upon boarding, I confirmed with the flight attendant that my original row was NOT an exit row. It was behind the exit row and there are no restrictions for that. One terrible staff member is all it takes to ruin a flight. Air Canada Rouge also happens to be a soda can with wings so that doesn't help."

Khuyết điểm: "Seats are very small with little legroom. My husband is 6"1 and sat in a middle seat. His knees were jammed into the seat in front of him. Full flight so he could not be reseated. There is no entertainment system which was ok since it was a red eye flight. I've have flown on many local and international carriers and the space on this aircraft was amongst the smallest I've come across."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight attendants were inconsiderate of the wishes and comfort of the passengers. Food and drink were offered for sale in tourist class shortly after takeoff in the morning. Since I had just had breakfast, I asked if the food and drinks would be available later. The answer was probably not, which indeed was the case. This was on a five hour flight. When I did want food and drink, I had to go to the attendant at the back of the plane. I was able to have a drink delivered to purchase a drink, but the one food item I wanted was not in stock. (This was from the beginning, and was also the case on the outgoing flight a week earlier. I was informed that I could not use my noise cancelling headphones, designed and purchased largely for flying during takeoff and landing, but had to use ear buds, which I did not have, do not like, and as a senior with hearing aids find uncomfortable. Thus, I missed the benefit of their noise cancelling feature and much of the movie I was enjoying. On the earlier flight, one of the two toilets was unavailable, causing long waits, but the attendant in the front of the plane refused to allow me to use that toilet, which was available. When I protested, she answered the same way perpetrators of crimes against humanity did "I am just following orders." Where is the concern for the humanity of a senior citizen? Also the previous flight connections was scheduled too closely so that with security and border clearance, I was barely able to board at the last minute, thus causing a great deal of stress, no time to ear or use the toilet at the terminal, once again unhealthy stress and discomfort, no concern for the humanity of the passenger."

Ưu: "We got upgraded into the Elite section, which we excitedly thought would be business class with a nice full recline, as we had been up for more than 24 hours when we left Seoul, but were disappointed. It was more like the Economy Plus on United. A forward cabin with wider seats with a bit more legroom and maybe little bit more recline as a result. On one meal we were served fon china like from business, but on the breakfast, I got china and my husband got the typical plastic and foil square trays. The restroom for the cabin was foreward and was not crowded, which was nice."
Khuyết điểm: "What I really disliked about the special Elite section was that the arm rests are immovable and the trays embedded in the arms, just like when you are in a bulkhead seat. That's one reason why I avoid the bulkhead seats. So, even though I was sitting next to my husband, it meant that we couldn't remove the 4-6 inches of hard chair arms between us. i could not curl up with my head or feet in his lap, the way we could in a regular economy seat. Therefore I did not sleep on the flight the way I had on the comparable trip outbound."

Khuyết điểm: "Information about passport presentation inconsistent with instructions received at online checkin. Seats are small and uncomfortable.Flight attendants monopolized aisles for more than half the 4 hr flight. Weren't flexible about allowing people to use the restroom and move back to seats."
Khuyết điểm: "Worst customer service. They closed the check in line as we stood there and than asked us to book another 3000$ flight!"
