I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I lost my non-refundable hotel money and didn't get the ticket to go to Hong Kong. Easy flight boarded late but they made up the time

Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.

At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

When the cabin lights are ON, the crew is hustling to keep the passengers occupied and chewing. Free Beer, Wine and mixed drinks in Coach! Every Service - Snack, Drinks, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee/Tea, Second and Third rounds of drinks includes a cold towel to wipe your face and hands and most important, trash is collected promptly EVERY single time. WOW. I noticed that Flight Attendants take notes on sleeping passengers for every major meal service, and they take the time to revisit those customers when awake to check they might have wanted to be fed. I also noticed that the crew has special double sided tape to pickup crumbs and spills in the aisles so grime is not tracked into the carpet. Dont be surprized to see a flight attendant cruising the aisle after dinner with a soft cooler full of small vanilla Hagen Daz cups..."
Khuyết điểm: "We flew from Bangkok to Washington Dulles with a connection in Tokyo. Snow in Japan caused crew shifts to max out and ultimately a dramatic change in flight departure. (Guaranteeing a missed connection) This caused multiple downstream challenges. 1. Original flight was scheduled for 00:30. (Half Past Midnight), rescheduled flight was scheduled for 12:30 (Half Past Noon) For Americans unused to a 24 hour clock, this made emails From ANA very difficult to wrap your mind around. Was it a typo? What happens when you miss your connection? (Turns out weather delays do NOT result in accommodations or meals being provided) Rescheduled flight should have been for 1231 with (AM/PM in Parentheses) 2. For passengers who spent their vacation/trip near the equator, the prospect of spending the night in snowbound Tokyo was simply not addressed in the cancellation email. The better option was to stay in your original point of origin and make the connection in one day, but email has NO telephone number for passengers to call to make these arrangements. (We ended up calling a toll California telephone number to be sure we got an English speaking agent) 3. Many SE Asian departing cities have a crazy baggage weight policy that allows for Two bags of 25 Kilos each , but if you have a single bag that weights 32 Kilos, you must pay excess baggage. Although the policy may NOT be specific to ANA, there are hundreds of folks of all nationalities repacking suitcases on the floor of the airport, to try to meet the regulations. As a traveler I understand this, but as an ANA customer it makes no sense, especially when the ticket agent cannot charge the overage to a credit card at the ticket counter. Instead sending you to a different location then waiting for you to return with a receipt. Its a huge scam and ANA can do better communicating the rules to passengers via email or their web site. Nothing starts a long trip off worse than arguments over arcane rules. 4. Changing a return flight arrangement as a result of weather happens at the last moment, but seat assignments apparently could not keep up. I would rather NOT fly than face a center seat in coach for 14 hours. I cannot explain what happened, but repeated attempts at advance check in showed NO assigned seats available, the ticket and gate agents could not improve on this, but BOTH flights ended up having empty seats and in the end we stressed for nothing. ANA must be able to do better, improving their IT systems to make advance seat assignments possible no matter how challenging the problem of "equipment" and other changes in the face of a canceled flight."

My luggage was delayed because the flight arrived late and I almost missed my connecting flight to Atlanta. My luggage was delayed and it took 3 days to receive my luggage once it arrived in Atlanta. The baggage department is horrendous and non-existent. I did not get a call, I had to go to the Airport and wait for manager to board a flight, waited 3 hours and then they got my luggage for me. I understand staffing issues but there should be a better process for baggage services.
Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi haa an additional Immigration step before security that's added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.

Khuyết điểm: "I don't understand how this company has a high rating in service. We missed our connection because the plane was delayed and they treated us poorly. How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Khuyết điểm: "We couldn't lower the seats backwards. It was horror for eight hours. And one little tv didn't work but they gave my wife a diferent, better seat because of that. We had a long layover, 12 hours, and they said we didn't have rights for anything. So we went to the city on our one because we didn't want to go on organized tour that we need to pay extra money"

Ưu: "I love the smiley flight attendant , especially for long distance flight. It would make it better trip to have smiley and helpful flight attendant. The meals provided by QA is good. it would be better with more fresh fruit on every meals."
Ưu: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Khuyết điểm: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."

Ưu: "I like that the air stewards bring you water and drinks throughout and don't judge you for being too thirsty. I like that they respect that it is a night flight and serve the meal quickly so it can be dark for the whole flight and you can sleep as much as you can. I like how efficient the layover is in Doha - only 40mins!"
Khuyết điểm: "I don't like when they don't ask the person in front to move their chair up for the meal and the passengers have to ask each other. I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

Khuyết điểm: "Must include the latest films. I find the Hollywood films rather passe. Main courses not to my liking. The fish was overcooked and became very fluffy. Yes, fluffy is the word. Salmon was too salty. Asian food was not up to standard."

No intermittent beverage and snack service in 16 hour flight segment. Cabin baggage limit of 15 lb/7kg per bag is awfully inadequate that renders the standard cabin baggage useless"
Ưu: "Great service by the flight crew! Friendly and competent. Food is decent but not quite up to Emirates. Kudos to QA for investing in the A-350. Quiet and comfortable."

Khuyết điểm: "After the flight landed we had to present our boarding passes one by one so they could be inspected again and our names were crossedoing off some list. It really slowed down meeting our ride and getting to customs. I think it also contributed o our flight being delayed since the flight before us had to do the same thing as they disembarked. I would be more concerned if my flight had a close connection if this is a standard practice. This was my first flight with Qatar. If the practice is standard I won't keep flying them."
Better shows in entertainment
Everything was great!! Boarding was timely and staff was helpful.

First time I have flown AA in years and remembered why. They can never seem to recognize my AA Awards# but the marketing Dept sure can. So I never get flight credit. The crew was busy txting instead of being polite. I said hello, goodby, and thank you. Got no response back… as usual. I am a normal sized person but the seats are so small even I was uncomfortable. No drinks or real snacks on a 4.5 hr flight? Really? TSA precheck # not on passes even though entered when I purchased. Cherry on top, USB ports broken on all seats in my row… on both flights. WiFi sucks had to buy it just so it would work. At least the pilots know what they are doing. I’m going back to boycotting AA flights. Go Delta! Never have these issues when I fly them.
No food except pretzels were served and no movies available - no comment can be made
Khuyết điểm: "The past two times flying with American out of Dallas my girlfriend and I have been separated on the flight. The first time we were able to be placed with each other but this time the attendant at the counter basically told everyone that because the flight was booked and there were so many people who had the issue that she could not move anyone around to be with their families. That on top of being rude to many of the flyers just makes the DFW experience with American feel like they don’t care about you."

Khuyết điểm: "AMERICAN IS THE WORST. Never flying with them again. My flight was cancelled, &they would NOT rebook me until 2 days later. REFUSED to compensate for the hotel I booked for the night. Held my baggage hostage & would not return it for a whole day. And their customer service is non-existent."

Khuyết điểm: "The man in the aisle seat was so obese he took room from the middle seat, which caused that person to lean into my seat. I spent three hours leaning to the right against the wall. If the airlines are going to make the seats smaller, they need to make arrangements for people who don’t fit in the seats. Entertainment didn’t work."

Khuyết điểm: "Upon boarding the aircraft, the attendant at the gate told me to check the size of my carryon bag against the test dimensions, which I did. My bag fit but I had to press the side in slightly to make it fit. She said it had to slide in without me pressing on it and proceeded to make me remove items from the bag in order to board the plane. I walked down the ramp with my extra pair of shoes and a book in my hands. As a result, I had to place my bag far from my seat due to the added time. My bag easily fit in the overhead compartment with room to spare and my being made an example was a completely pointless exercise."

While the plane was being cleaned our Co-pilot was reassigned. We waited on the plane while they scouted up a different co-pilot. This caused another delay. Staff did the best they could but the organizational incompetence was not lost on the passengers."

Ưu: "As a bonus, I was bumped up to Business class on the way back because the flight was full. The lie-flat seat was amazing and food in Business really was "next level.""

Khuyết điểm: "I didn't receive an email to check into my flight for Alaskian airline/American Airlines, and when I tried to check in online from my confirmed ticket order the website wouldn't let me check in. When searching where to go at dallas ft.worth (DFW) airport to check in for our alaskian airlines flight the website sold us to go to terminal E 18 where they are, but when we arrived we were in fact flying out of a completely different terminal A, not having enough time to check our bags and missing the flight."
Khuyết điểm: "Our flight was so late. I actually missed the original time. Ran thought TSA, sprinted to the gate and then... waited for slightly over an eternity. But honestly, the great part of AA is the super small seats, really whi fits in these seads. Thank you. I'm 4-5."

The gate agent was incredibly rude and sarcastic about telling us that the gate had been changed. They also tried to sell us 3 upgrades when we were trying to get our boarding passes."

Ưu: "As I was sitting there waiting to board the plane I started to have anxiety. Watching how many people lined up to get on the plane made me a little nervous. I even thought about renting a car and driving from Dallas to OC California. I waited until i was almost the last person to board. What a pleasant surprise. I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"

There were a few TV screens scattered about showing something, but no headphones were offered at all, and it appeared the entertainment, which was very hard to see, was NBC TV shows. The quality of air travel has plummetted over the last 10 years."
