Choice of movies were limited

ANA is great

Overall experience is good. Except that the one of the assistant ground attendant during my check in is quite annoying when i asked her only one question, something regading the boardong pass. She should be more helpful and accommodating not arrogant.

Khuyết điểm: "Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

They normally only allow early boarding of young children, but we need extra time as I have 2 children to organise and my daughters sight dictates that i have to assist her. Other passengers were not impressed. I would like the airlines to take the initiative to have all children boarded early as if we board with everyone else, the aisles will be blocked as my children try to get organised."

I would love to travel with Emirates in future

I flew business class for the first time. The flight crew was attentive. The seats were extremely comfortable. A wonderful experience!

In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return."

While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

I sat down 5 rows or so behind the exit. 15 min later the attendant started moving children from the exit rows to different seats. I raised my hand to be placed in the exit row but was ignored. The flight attendants were slow and rude. I asked for two white wines with my food, and was looked at with disgust. I was told that I can have one, and when I finished it, I could have the second one. I said ok. Well 30 MINUTES later I touch the attendant button and no one came. Finally after 5 min someone came to take my order. She quickly came back and said they were out of wine. This was a very disappointing flight."

Every Turkish airline desk took a long time and I was sent to at least 4 Turkish airlines desks. It is all a mess. So I am one day delayed in my arrival to my destination. This has been so frustrating!!!!!!!"

Seized all electronic equipment which I anticipated ahead of time and left my iPad home - but they took my camera - which is NOT on the list or a digital device. They had ONE person handling what had to be well over a thousand iPads and laptops. Flight left hours late. NO legroom, Food was horrible and inedible. The entertainment system draped out and locked up 4 hours into a ten hour flight. The WORST flight experience I have had in a very long tie and I have flown all over the world. Will NEVER fly Turkish Air again. STAY AWAY from this airline."

Khuyết điểm: "Terrible foods taste Zero hospitality crews Lack of food and deink service during 13hour flight No airconditiiner at gate 230 and queue like hell!"
Ưu: "I love everything about this airline. I'm a fanboy of Turkish airlines every time. Great in cabin entertainment, great service, always awesome aircrafts."
Khuyết điểm: "i had asked for an aisle seat and ended up on seat 7C which is the one that is next to the seat where the stewardess sits down. I wouldn't have minded at all but my seat and the one next to it didnt recline anywhere near as much as every other seat in the whole airplane. It was really uncomfortable for me and the person who was seating next to me. Hopefully this will be the last time i get stuck in that kind of seat."
Ưu: "Food and entertainment"
Khuyết điểm: "The ground crew couldn't speak English! I was part of a group and a friend of mine got wounded doing Ski. We simply couldn't communicate with the ground crew so they can arrange her with a seat that would match her medical condition. On board the plane, the (idiot) guy from the ground crew told us we can either take unfit seats or disembark. I find it very hard to believe I'll choose Turkish again..."

Khuyết điểm: "Employees didnt look or act very welcoming. Very little food."
Khuyết điểm: "Well our flight wasn't until 4:30 am and we couldn't go into the airport until 1am. So we were sitting outside in the heat for 8 hours until they would let us in."
Khuyết điểm: "I woke up twice due to too warm cabin."
Ưu: "Unfortunately for Turkish A. the plane was less than 1/3 full...tourism to and from Turkey seems to be way down for a number of reasons. That made it spacious coupled with a relaxed pace of passengers and crew. The lunch served was quite tasty and satisfying. No hassles about carryons weight or size. Electronics aboard seemed to work fine for those interested."
Khuyết điểm: "Announce too early boarding time, 50 minutes late for boarding."
Ưu: "Flights left on time. Boarding was good."
Khuyết điểm: "It was blazing hot on every flight. Several guests complained yet the staff kept saying it was cool enough and would not turn it cooler. Although the menu said cheese sandwiches were available at any time, we were told there weren't any when we asked for one. The guest next to me would push the attendant button and the staff would walk by several times without even making eye contact with her."

Ưu: "Crew friendly attitude, seats, comfort, food and entertainment choice were top class."
Khuyết điểm: "Gate changed 2 times, many had to run long distance between gates, take-off was 40min late. loud and useless (no english) flight announcements would wake me up each time"
Ưu: "The crew was extremely polite and pleasant. We felt welcomed and taken care off."
Khuyết điểm: "It was an old plane and it was not possible to see the tv monitors."
Ưu: "Good in general"
Khuyết điểm: "Delayed flights"
Ưu: "All the movie options, the great food, the great service, and the timeliness of arrival."
Khuyết điểm: "Nothing, it was great!"
Ưu: "Great food."
Khuyết điểm: "Nothing. It was very pleasant."
Ưu: "Inflight service"
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding process was still chaos and unorganized, we left 20 minutes late"
Ưu: "Nothing to rave about"
Khuyết điểm: "Long bus ride in Turkey from gate to plane. Istanbul airport felt uninspired."
