This must happen to customers frequently because the wording is not clear. i was very upset and due to this i will NOT fly this airline again. i was charged the price of a first call flight in total for economy service. NOT GOOD"

Ưu: "This flight had one of the best selections of movies I've seen on a flight.....a damn good thing given the 15-hr duration of the flight. I had so many screaming babies around me that the flight attendants helped me to move to another part of the plane. They were incredibly sympathetic and accommodating. Airlines from the USA could learn a thing or two from Qatar Airlines."

I was so up set when the guy wanted to conform the hotel voucher while I already had it. I had to walk with luggage and the baby. It was terrible while I was not feeling well and my son wanted to sleep."

Sat on the tarmac for over an hour and the crew or pilot did not say a word. The beverage service again was lacking compared to other international business class flights I’ve taken."

Ưu: "Seat space continued to be better than BA. Nice surprise to get an evening meal on the last leg to Rome. I actually was able to sleep a bit on this smaller airplane as well. Crew went out of its way to help people board and load bags overhead. They seemed very attentive, and tried to provide extra drink options even."

I heard no announcements, maybe because it didn't matter as everyone was crowding the door 15 minutes before boarding began. The agent seemed perturbed, but I've seen it on almost every Italian bound flight. No one wants to wait. It is actually a bit amusing to watch the struggle between boarding policies and a group of people who seem determined to ignore them. The buses were also pretty well packed. More so in Rome than IST. Not much organization in loading at either place. After all the passport control they left us to walk outside to wait for the bus. Maybe you can tell I'm not a fan of remote gates."

Even though I missed my flight and it was out of my control, I was able get another flight within 5 hours and free of charge!"

We drove to the plane and waited for 15 minutes in the cramped shuttle while they were putting another staircase to the plane and finishing prepping it. We left a half an hour late and the flight was already at 10pm. It was a pretty terrible experience! And the section of the Istanbul airport we were in was pretty dirty. Also the movie they played had two language options but no English which was disappointing."

Ưu: "The traditional hospitality I got in flight was quite unique. Many things change but some things always remain the same. Some may call it old fashioned or not modern but then I am an old fashioned guy. It was like stepping back in time when things were always so much nicer."
Khuyết điểm: "Istanbul airport was very very busy and some places were not working very efficiently (security scan when you go from the plane to the transit lounge). The departure gate was overflowing in the waiting areas and the bus ride to the plane was very crowded. Aside from this Istanbul airport and the transit lounge were very pleasant."

This airline needs to know how to treat their passengers well."

If i wanted to buy something its in their mag and as a regional flight it should include some form of nourishment other than juice or coffee one off, tight fisted and not a descent selection of food either"

It also took a very long time to get a hotel assignment because I was stuck in Chicago overnight. The finnair air agents at ohare were not very understanding or helpful. I was sent from their line to American Airlines and then back again. They were slow. We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."

Ưu: "It seems a bit unfair to rate Finnair, when the flight was serviced by Iberia...that being said - everyone seemed to be put out by any request or basic question. The movies were really good and (UNLIKE the flight from Chicago to Madrid, where i was told they didn't do that) the stewardess on the flight home didn't mind giving me a second glass of wine."

The man at the check-in desk in Madrid could not have been ruder or less helpful (Hopefully for his wife's sake!) The food on the way home again was unfortunate.....that can NOT possibly be the best food any company can find in Spain. Hell - wed have been better off with a cheese & ham plate with some bread!!"

Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."

I have been recommending Britsh Airways over the last several weeks to pretty much everyone I know. My family and I will be looking to British Airways for overseas flights as a priority."
Khuyết điểm: "Connecting flight thru Heathrow was too close for comfort. I just reached the gate at the end of boarding. If there had been a glitch at all I would have missed the flight."

Ưu: "British Airways has greatly improved their customer service, the flight attendants (usually a bit gruff) were instead very kind and helpful to myself and all the passengers I saw them interact with. It really makes the flight experience better."

Ưu: "The crew was friendlier than on the other airlines we took on our trip. The seats were cramped (coming from someone average height) and the middle and window seats have a combined under the seat compartment so you don't feel like you have personal space. I wish the breakfast was more substantial, but other than that it was a wonderful flight and I would definitely take it again!"

Khuyết điểm: "I booked the finnair flight because it was direct and charged $60 for additional bags to check in. For me this was really important since I was moving countries so I needed to check in multiple bags. But since this was in partnership with British Airways, I was charged $90 instead of $30. This was not mentioned or made clear before I made my purchase, if i buy a finnair flight then I should be charged finnair prices on baggage. If not, this should have been made clear before hand so I could have weighed my flight options. I hope you are able to provide a resolution."

Khuyết điểm: "When I got to Phl I missed my connection to London. No one seemed to care that I needed to be in England by the 18th. They kept retorting me to arrive in England on the 19th. I told them multiple times Id be flexible and go to any city in the UK just for them to get me there on the 18th. The First person I talked to said it was impossible. So I called again and talked to another person and all of a sudden it was possible. The worst part was they sent me to Boston after that I didn't get to Boston until 1:50 am and they did not compensate with hotel or anything while my flight to London was not until 8:00 am the next morning. So I spent the night in the airport. Oh and then when I finally got to London, my bag is lost and they told me I'd have it by tomorrow and I still do not have my bag and have called and they said they can't tell me anything."

My wife and I have the carry on bags, with which we boarded multiple domestic and international flights and never got a complaint from any carrier, but to my surprise, etihad staff mentioned that my bang is over sized in length and width and I need to check in. And second complaint is on Food. We selected Hindu meal, and the food was not good in taste and the options as well. We felt Air India, Qatar, emirates, Cathe Pacefic etc were better comparatively than Etihad. Staff were all good and supportive all the time."

Bus was too cramp with people and luggage. Upon checking in Hotel, no dinner and breakfast coupon provided. No cash money given for dinner. i don't have Chinese yuen so no dinner and Breakfast. Drink only mineral water provide by Hotel. Checking out time as early as 0400hrs for bas to pick up to Airport. My Flight time was 0920hrs. Mini Bas was also congested. 18 seater bas with 17 passanger and full of luggage with no luggage compartment.So just imagine what kind of rate do you want me to select."

Will not fly again and will spread the word about this terrible airline."

Khuyết điểm: "Where do I even start? Our original flight in Melbourne was cancelled. Luckily the woman in line behind us got an email alert, but we did not get anything. China Eastern does not have a ground crew in Melbourne, so Dnata staffs it for them. We queued for 2.5 hours to be told we would not be flying out until the next afternoon, and they could not tell me when I would get back to Chicago, but was promised when we returned the next day, that we would have full flight information. Gratefully we were put up in a Quest hotel (which I highly recommend) for the night. The next day we queued for 2 hours and were told we'd find out about our connecting flight in Shanghai as they couldn't give me any other information, but gave us each 14 AUD for lunch. After an hour delay we were finally on our way. In Shanghai things were a mess. We were constantly diverted to this line and that, no one knew what was going on. Finally we were directed to the proper place, and after 3 hours (not an exaggeration) of standing in line we found out we could not leave for Chicago until Wednesday (by this time it's Tuesday morning about 4 am), because they only fly to Chicago every other day, and we had missed our 11:40 am Monday connection due to the cancellation in Melbourne. They paid for us to be in a hotel that was 30 minutes away from the airport, and paid for the meals as well, and gave each of us 1000 Yuan. There was very little information or communication on the airline's part. I told my friend that I was flying China Eastern and she said she'd never ever fly with them, and now I understand why. I have to return to Australia in a month, and trust me, I will be looking at other options. I wish the staff had been able to help those of us who were stranded, perhaps booking other flights with other airlines, being more sympathetic, flight vouchers, something. They made us feel like "we" were inconveniencing "them." Such a nightmare. I know those of us on that flight were all in agreement, trust me, we had a long time to talk about the service."

Khuyết điểm: "Just the passengers continuing on to Hangzhou were told to wait on the plane. Then after all the other passengers left, we were told to get off as well. Then we were told to stand and wait for at least 20 minutes, then routed through the airport to join the first group of passengers on the plane to go through immigration, where one of the immigration officers was yelling out us. Then we had to wait at least another 20 minutes before we were led to the check-in counter where we each person needed to get new boarding passes. This process took at least a half hour. Then we had to re-enter the regular security line to reboard our flight. When we landed in Hangzhou, this process was essentially repeated, except that this time we collected our checked bags and went through customs before having to go to the check-in counter, again, get a new boarding pass, again, and then go through regular security to continue the remaining leg of my flight. I've never seen such an inefficient transit procedure in my life!"

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was extremely late causing us to miss our connecting flight. To make it even worse they lost my luggage in Shanghai. After several attempts to try and have them help us locate the luggage, we got up and walked away. They didn't show a single sign of care and let us sit there for fifteen minutes simply waiting for them to help us. This is a terrible airline with zero customer service and useless staff."

Ưu: "The plane was new, the movies/videos were good, and the food was OK."
Khuyết điểm: "Delay, Delay, Delay. Every leg of our trip was delay, and they don't tell you why, or for how long. We had a 4-hour delay at JFK. We almost miss our connecting flight at PVG to ICN. Luckily that one also had a two-hour delay. Coming back, same thing. All other airlines on the board had no problem except China Eastern. Good thing ICN was one of the best airport terminal we have ever been to and able to pass time shopping and eating while we wait. But JFK was boring. Will avoid flying China Eastern again. Not dependable."
