I was in Seat 5K, Hand rest wont go down when on Sleep Flat Mode. Door opens slowly after closing. Even crew were surprised. Not cleaned properly. I have pictures of broken handle and old used tissues and covers if wanted.
I am deaf & travel alone to India & back to Seattle via Doha by Qatar Airways. They did an awesome services, very friendly and helpful. Since we wear masks all the time during the flights, How can the air-hostess communicate with me? I came to an idea that we communicate each other through texting on my phone which was very helpful! One negative comment is that there are no closed captioning for English movies & dramas on TV. It need to add accessibility for deaf people to enjoy watching during their flights. I will fly with Qatar Airways again in the future.
The staff was extremely attentive and did everything to make the flight comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing.
Inaccurate flight time, need to improve customer service. It’s better for them to spend money on hiring professional staff instead of spending money on expensive ads.

They were tired and outdated. Second, The entertainment package was abysmal. Basically, you were forced to watch a TV with bad reception, and no ability to choose what you wanted to see other than flipping through the channels and seeing what was already on. That meant never seeing the beginning of a movie. The picture quality was very poor. Although an international flight of seven hours duration, it felt more like a charter bus to Vegas buy a discount operator. I have the exact same experience flying from Korea to San Francisco on a prior trip. If I could learn how to determine which aircraft I would be flying in the future, I would never book an international trip on Asiana knowing that this particular aircraft would convey me."

We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Actually the majority are either from Middle East including Arabian Gulf counties and from United States. But menu on board is always splitted into two choices: One choice fits all and another fits only Indians !!! This would be a great favor if we are on board an Indian airliner, but not for Al-Etihad Airways !! And this is a true problem because any passenger from Middle East or Europe or America CAN NEVER eat that Indian meals which was served on board !! I’m a doctor.. You will have a diarrhea straight forward for the rest of the flight. It’’s hot spices mixed with anything pasta or chicken or vegetables and that’s it. That maybe so much tasty for certain group of people but in a restaurant not on board a flight on air. They are blocking passengers’ choices in food in the other option whatever it is. And situation may got worse if the only other option is for instance is meat because my wife doesn’t eat meat (she’s exceptional.. That’s right) but then she poorly can not eat any meal on board this flight and has to wait for the second meal after another 6 hours. Maybe she will be lucky and she can eat the only second available option for all because we all can not eat the first choice meal which is a must to be Indian. And here I’m specifying it. It’s Indian, not vegetarian meal. Vegetarian meal would be a nice choice acceptable to try for anyone. This must be considered!!! Passengers have nothing to eat except what air-hosts serve them for 16 hours !! So Al-Etihad should kindly know that not half of its passengers on board are Indians. The flight attendant even gave me some tips to ensure nobody sat there. This flight was on an A380 so the plane was large and it felt spacious."
Khuyết điểm: "There are a number of things that Etihad do that just degrade the quality and experience of the flight and I probably wouldn’t fly with them again as a result. I’ve listed these below: 1) Entertainment system is poorly appointed and travel in two seperate months found that little had been refreshed on the in flight programs. 2) The entertainment system is deactivated until the seat belt sign is turned off, and is deactivated again about 30 minutes prior to landing. 3) You practically have to cut off your arm to get some water. I would always bring my own water on the flight, but Australian regulations prevent more than 100mls being carried on flight. 4) The service is inconsistent, some staff are just downright rude and others are incredibly friendly. The time waiting after pressing the call bell is excessive and in one case my drink never arrived. 5) Unlike other airlines, they don’t give you a “menu” to chose from for the inflight meal. Instead they just come around asking “Chicken, Lamb or vegetarian”, and lack any real understanding of what’s actually in the food. 6) When you order a drink, they open the can pour some into a cup but don’t give you the remainder in the can. 7) The inflight wifi is expensive. 19.95 USD for 180mb puts them at one of the most expensive. Overall, I would have expected a bit more from an airline such as Etihad."

(2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight."

I thought they would allow it since I had only 1 check in bag but they made me take out that extra kg and check in my carry on as second bag. Finally I asked for an aisle seat and they said the flight was full. But when I boarded the IAD flight I was rather surprised to see quite a few aisle and window seats. So rather than being a great experience, I would say it was a mediocre one because of the Hyderabad staff."

I was delayed by at least 8 hours. There was no email from Etihad about the canceled flight or an apology. It was a bit disappointing given that they are my favorite airline."

I was emailed a confirmation that my booking had been accepted through the airline within minutes, and it was easy to workout how to check myself in. Then I had zero hassles on the flights, so I'm really pleased with the service. I was even lucky enough to have a whole row to myself on both of my flights from England to Australia, which on a +24hr flight can be an absolute godsend. Staff were all friendly even encouraging us to move to alternate seats given there was sufficient space. The air crafts were tidy and it was easy transitioning from each connecting flight. Absolutely no hassle at all."

On one of my flights I didn't eat the heated meal, any sides and only ate some of the dessert given the flavour was quite poor. An airline could do to raise the taste bar standard."

The fold flat seats are comfortable and roomy, the food and meal service, when you want it is convenient if you wish to dine on your schedule, not the airlines and the general high level and friendly service was much appreciated. The "lounge" space they have between the first and business class cabins is fantastic; its a small bar like area where you can get out of your seat and chat with other passengers, watch news, read or whatever, and not be confined to your seat. Overall a great experience, Arrived having slept, eat and drank well."

The boarding flight is painful experience, starting from entering the airport (poor training to staff to verify the identity and ticket details), standing at the counter to check in the baggage (extremely slow). Once boarded, it’s a pleasant experience. The crew is polite and patient.
No one seemed to bother about the pandemic and moreover no one checked if the passengers are fully vaccinated or not. Not a single pandemic rule is being followed.

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."
