Guangzhou layover, lounge(s) not prepared, minimal pre packaged snacks no hot food, showers not working or rather not cleaned from night before would take "hours" for them to be cleaned and available. Will probably be last flight with Southern China, has dropped considerably and is no longer a "worthy" airline."
Ưu: "1. Boarding was on time and orderly. 2. The vegetarian meal was fine except for the penne pasta which hardly had any sauce. So it was like gnawing the more-than-aldente pasta - plain starch."
Khuyết điểm: "1. The flight from LAX to Goungzhou was 1 hour late. We were all in the plane by 10 PM and the plane was to leave at 10:30 PM. It left 11:30 with all the passengers sitting on the plane for 1 1/2 hours! The delay made the rush to make it to the next flight in Guangzhou was stressful and exhausting. 2. I reserved an aisle seat beforehand because medical issue that require frequent trip to the rest room. The reservation person told me that I would have a window seat on the 2nd floor but no one is seated next to me. That was not the case. There was a person beside me that had to be disturbed frequently for my rest room trips. And this was a 15 hour trip."

Khuyết điểm: "We flew from NYC- JFK to Siem Reap Cambodia and back with the airline. On the way back I was unable to choose seats online prior to boarding. We were placed in Row 63, which is the LAST row on the plane and does not recline. For a 15 hour flight this seating should not be used. It is completely unreasonable to think people will be ok not reclining, and honestly the seats felt more straight up than the normal seats. After discussing it with the crew for half an hour on a full flight they were able to move us to other seats. But were unable to move us to business or first for a discount. End point: these seats should not be used! It was so miserable even thinking we might get stuck with them. And if they do stick people there you should be comped, that was not worth the same fare everyone else payed for coach."

You are not permitted use of phones even while in airplane mode with no explanation given. When we asked for water to be able to take necessary medications during the flight, we were told we had to wait a couple hours until the next beverage service but were offered tomato juice and another beverage. You are asked to prepare for landing 45 minutes prior to landing. I have never had to prepare for landing so early in a flight. Not necessarily a flight issue, but Guangzhou airport has a poor system for locating your connecting flights. There were 2 potential terminals and you had to walk to the beginning of either terminal to locate a flight information board. Then had to walk back to the other terminal if that was where your flight was located. Frustrating."

ALSO, they did not even board from jetbridge. We had to take shuttle bus past the entire airport and past the maintenance hangers to our plane. Flight from CAN to SFO makes "stop" in Wuhan, China for 2.5 hour layover. 1) Disembark onto shuttle bus. 2) Travel across airport. 3) Go through immigration or customs AGAIN and then security check of luggage 4) Walk 1/2 mile to business lounge 5) spend less than 10 minutes in lounge 6) get back on bus to be taken back to airplane. 7) wait another 1/2 hour b4 departure. Weird place to stop and even crazier procedures."

Either start earlier/end later or pick Videos that fit in the time window they offer for viewing"
