Ưu: "The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

We had to wait in a huge line to get rebooked and it was clear the Japan Airlines employees did not know what they were doing. Put me on a flight next day and couldn't even provide hotels for us (gave us $100 to find our own which was near impossible at that time). I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

I tried continuously to contact the sub company to request a waiver or hold on the flight. The number provided kept me on a hold . There were no answers to phone calls from information provided on receipt. Emails only stated the fees that would be imposed for any action I conducted. I will never use kayak again."

They looked at me and deliberately ignored me. This happened on Flight from Houston to Manila. From Hong Kong to Seoul and especially from Seoul to Houston. I had to ask thrice for a head phone before I got one. I was wide awake."

Ưu: "The planes were very clean and in good working order. The crew was excellent. We had a very short connection but were met as we got off our first flight in Seoul and given great instructions about how to quickly get to our connection through security while our flight to SFO was being held for 15 minutes. The food was very good, choice of movies and TV excellent. Our bags made it to SFO despite the short connection. All in all I couldn't ask for a better way to make a 20 hr trip to the other side of the world."

Average time that you need to be at security ahead of your domestic flight = 15 minutes! As with everything in Japan, flight left on time."

They were not present much at all in BUSINESS CLASS. So that's why I rated the experience as poor. The international food choices are poor. They do not taste good. I think I have to stop flying ANA. On other airlines there was more to choose from that were more recent releases. The food wasn't very good. It had all fish choices or beef tongue. I understand having an Asian meal, but maybe should be a more popular meal with different choices than a more eclectic menu. I noticed even the child's meal was not very kid friendly."

"There was a misunderstanding during check in that it was a mandatory requirement to make hotel reservations for quarantine without it you can’t board the airline.So we had to booked a hotel last minute and it was the wrong hotel since it’s not accredited by DOH Philippines. Since it was last minute we can’t get a refund or cancel the hotel. It was stressful and unnecessary hassle."

Khuyết điểm: "There were a lot of confusion w/ the flight delay. We we’re told we have to spend the night in Seoul waiting for a flight out the following day. No agent greets us at the gate to arrange for hotel stay. We we’re directed all over the place and no one knows anything about such arrangement. Finally we’re put on a plane to our destination. I was not informed of the change and only realized that when was brought to the gate and put on a plane. It should have better organized and needs agent at gate to answer question."

The guy helped me on checking in told me that AsIan’s didn’t provide this service to the customer. I felt not quite happy but ok with this. The one made me feel upset is they didn’t give me pre-boarding even though they already noticed that I’m disabled. I needed to wait on the line for over 25 minutes, my left leg very tired. I can walk but I can’t stand for long time, it hurts my back and leg. I got almost same style Vegetarian food in both dinner and breakfast, all vegetables, no tofu at all."

The other check-in crew members told us (5 total) to go together to board the plane then this female staff told us we can only have one family member go in with my mom (to take care of the wheelchair then assist her on the plane) next time we board the plane. Their messages are inconsistent & her attitude was uncalled for, especially when she let other disabled passengers on with their more than one family members & the other Asiana staff members told us to go in at the same time."

Ưu: "I liked everything about the airlines, the flight attendants are so respectful and kind. They go out of their way to help the packager get comfortable and settle in there seat before and after take off. I have been a member with Asian Airlines for 6 years and won't change airlines for nothing even if I have to pay a little extra for great service."

Clearly, Asiana severely needs basic manner- training for its staff. (this isn't the 1st time I've experienced rudeness from Asiana staff, but I just ignored it & chucked it up to their tired busy working days.) 2) We sat on the tarmac for an hour, exactly. We departed 1 hour later than scheduled, despite a short connection, which they, themselves, scheduled into this flight! ..."

Ưu: "The service was top-notch, and so was the food. On my flight from San Francisco to Korea, things were just fine, Though I wish I had the window seat that was actually adjacent to the window, and not separated from the window by a desk/table arrangement. Aside from that, everything was grand."
Khuyết điểm: "The flight from Korea to Bangkok was a different story. The seats resembled those you would find in premium economy on other airlines. While the food and service were good, the entertainment was abysmal. Basically, you were watching TV with poor quality reception and no ability to choose what you wanted to watch other than flipping through the channels to see what was already on. Although this was nearly a seven hour international flight, The entertainment package felt like something you would encounter on a cheap charter bus to Vegas. If I knew this was the aircraft I would be taking, I would never have booked on Asiana. The flight to Bangkok was really substandard."

Ưu: "When checking in, the agent upgraded me to an exit row for free, which Asiana sells as a "preferred" seat. The legroom was phenomenal and the seat next to me remained empty. I was in the first row of the economy cabin, so I was the first to get served during the meal time and the first to have the trash collected. The seat was comfortable and had ample padding, even though the armrests could not move due to being in the exit row."

Myself and a few other passengers just waited around the gate area until final call and then boarded, avoiding having to stand in the line that stretched to the next gate. The aircraft was an non-refurbished A330, featuring the old TV screens that showed entertainment in a loop. Good enough for a 2 hour flight, but any longer and AVOD would have been nice. Flight was delayed for 1 hour, we landed 1 hour late, but I still had enough time to make my connection."

Ưu: "I liked everything about the flight. The attendants were kind and I received great service."

Ưu: "The price: my round trip ticket from Tokyo Haneda to JFK was only 850USD The layover is only 2 hours which is bearable and enough time to find the boarding gate and a little shopping."
Khuyết điểm: "Everything else. You can check-in online within 48 hrs before your flight, but there is no QR code produced on their app for paperless check-in. The food was terrible, and the seats were not made for long flights. I really felt the "economy" vibe. They only provide disposable slippers, but everything else you need to check the lavatories if there were toothbrushes or mouthwash packets left. Overall, I will still consider flying this airline for any emergency flight back to the US, but if there will be a compeittive airline, maybe i'd try another. Their business class seem enticing.. maybe comsoder it too."

Khuyết điểm: "I missed the flight LAX to Manila due to confusing departure time. May 31 Wednesday at 12:20 AM indicated in the ticket is actually one day before May 31; i.e., the passenger should be 3 hours before the flight on May 30 Tuesday around midnight. I clarified with Webjet (India) representative who explained that I go to the airport on Wednesday. Asiana should have used military time; thus 12:20am should be 00:20 Hr. to avoid confusion. Asiana penalty for "no show" was USD511 and earliest available flight was 4 days after May 31. I took another airline to go to Manila. I missed my hotel and all other appointments because of the misleading Asiana flight information. It was a big mess for me!!!"

Ưu: "The air "exercises" that you are forced to watch at the end of any Asiana flight are a joke- pressing on three pressure point? How about some leg or arm stretches? Flight took off and landed. Poor cabin speaker system; could not understand anything."

Khuyết điểm: "Delay 50 minutes waiting for connection flight 2 nd time (50%) on this trip, appears that this airline is getting bigger and disregarding schedules for $$$. Also advanced on line seating is meaningless. Internet web-sight is always a problem finding the correct pages if you have a problem no local contact listings (tel. #) in major cities they have offices in. I had a Tel. # for office in BKK, used in the past , they changed the # without even leaving a message or new #. I needed to change my departure date & because I could not contact them thru web sdite or Tel. this was not possible & missed a very important meeting in N.Y."

Ưu: "Flying with a partner, the two seater in economy was comfortable, good leg space, reasonable food , good service."

Ưu: "The flight attendants were responsive and polite. The foot rests at the economy seats were a nice bonus. The bathrooms were well stocked and mostly clean. The entertainment was OK. There were mostly action movies which aren't my thing."
Khuyết điểm: "The check-in line was about an hour long. There were way too few people at the counters for a very large plane. I pre-weighed my bags on scales that weren't being used and moved things around. The really stressful part was my carry on bag. It was overweight and transferred things to my handbag and into my suitcases as much as I could. The only things in my carry on were my laptop and medication. It was still 2 kilos overweight. I appealed to the manager who said I had to check it. Checking a bag with my medication would be dangerous to my health and we know they wouldn't reimburse me for the theft of my laptop. The manager, Yeonju Lee (first name may be spelled incorrectly) was completely inflexible and devoid of compassion as was the check in agent. They said the restriction was due to security measures, which is a lie. I've traveled all over the world with carry on over 20 pounds and there has never been a problem. They said I had to correct the problem in 7 minutes or I would not be allowed on the plane. Ultimately, I almost missed the flight. I had to ask people in the security line if I could go ahead of them. If I can avoid it, I will never fly Asiana again. The seats are hard as rocks which is difficult for a 14 hour flight."

I still missed my connection. the fact I had flight insurance just meant I could go after the taxi fare home due to this missed connection and then wait a year for the money back. seattle as well as Vancouver BC are both terrible entry points to the USA. I slept on the Vancouver airport floor last year. this trip it was very close to sleeping in seattle because immigration and customs take so long, then require going back thru security at a 2 check point choke hold in the basement of the seattle international section. next trip I think I will take a boat."

Khuyết điểm: "Board was troublesome and wasted alot of time as the tube was not used.had to walk down a flight of stairs then wait for mini bus (with very limited seats), then take it for around 5-7mins drive to reach the plane. Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Khuyết điểm: "I waited in line for 90 minutes to check my bag. Pace of that line moved extremely slowly. I fly frequently. Other airlines are more efficient. Delay 45 Min. in taking off. Delay upon arrival as we waited for what must have been 30-45 min for a people transporter to take us to our gate. I was at the back of the plane and I swear it seemed like they only had one bus making the (long) journey back and forth. All told I arrived over two hours late to my destination for reasons that are likely poor business design. Not a great experience."

Khuyết điểm: "Air Canada cancelled the original flight and rescheduled it for one day later. This was an obvious problem since it affected other travel plans. Air Canada customer service was very poor. First agent was unhelpful, second agent better. Overall it was a pain to finally get another flight for the original day."

Khuyết điểm: "Flight from koh samui to bkk cancelled and has to spend 2 hours on phone to arrange another flight. Catamaran gave me the wrong phone number for calling thai airways. Thai airways/vayama had originally booked me on another flight without confirming it would have been ok. Terrible in flight service especially on way back."
