It was a typical indigo flight.
Smooth boarding take off before time and arrived 23 minutes before TIME.

This is in human and no airline on international route is allowed to do so"

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

They wouldn’t check us in thru to Siem Reap when we were in Luang Prabang, so when we tried to go through transit in Bangkok, the Air Asia agents sent us back to enter Thailand. We had to go through passport control, go up to arrivals and wait in the huge, chaotic lines ( why does AA always have chaotic limes?) and check in again. We then had to go back through immigration and security inspections. Even the immigration and exit officials were questioning why we didn’t go in transit! Took us two hours and lots of extra walking. I only fly Air Asia when I have to, and always think they will have gotten better, but they never do."

I had an aisle seat and had to sit with my legs completely spread open into the aisle for the two hour flight. Don't book this airline if you are over 6ft tall and plan on flying standard economy."

Long story short, I demanded another agent for help."

The seats lean forward so in the upright position you feel as if you are falling forward. Terrible comfort but it was only an hour flight so I survived. Anything longer than the hour from Phuket to Phi Phi, I would never fly this airline. Like I said, you get what you pay for."

What truly irks me, is that they charged extra for the extra baggage, and then when we arrived, they could not even track the bag to tell us where it was. When I asked what their procedure was, I was informed, they would search for the bag for 7 days, and then if not found, they would search for another 7 days. Sounds like 14 days to me...Then if they did not find the bag, we could file a claim. Fortunately, they did find the bag after about 1 week. To find out that they had located the bag, we had to keep calling them. Not at any time did they give us a call to inform us, or give us an update. With so many other airlines flying this route, we have decided it would be better to choose another airline"

Apparently our small backpacks also counted toward the carry-on limit, which would have been fine if not for the following two contradictions: this was our THIRD flight with VietJet Air (one from Siem Reap to Hanoi, Hanoi to Da Nang, Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh) and we didn't have to check baggage the first two. We also saw at least half a dozen people get on our flight with either bags larger than ours, or carrying three pieces of luggage. Either enforce all the rules for everyone, every time they fly the airline, or not at all."

It was funny to see the billboards announcing: "On time", then "Boarding" when there was no aircraft in sight. On the Arrivals billboard, it showed the in-coming flight as "Landed", when it most obviously had not landed, and there was no information about when it might eventually arrive. With slow operations, we boarded 40 minutes mate and arrived a full hour late. The schedule had been 9:00 PM; days before flying it was pushed back to 10:00 PM. We actually were at the gate at 11:00 PM. VietJet Air is unfortunately the only airline operating a late flight from Pleiku to Ho Chi Minh. No competition means no pressure to be on time."

Khuyết điểm: "many delays, no associates anywhere in the terminal to address any issues even though they say repeatedly to see an agent if you have questions, horrible airline that does not deliver the service that is paid for"
Ưu: "Reservations were relatively easy to make on line and relatively easy to purchase on-line."
Khuyết điểm: "Purchasing tickets this way can result in a lot of confusion upon arriving at the Airport. Without any documents that the Check-in Counter can use to process Check-in, the traveller will find out that a visit is required to a separate desk to obtain your reservation number scribbled on a scrap of paper to take back to the Check-in Counter (after waiting on line there again) so that the agent can find your record and proceed with check-in. This two step process is confusing and not immediately obvious to even the seasoned International traveller. Good thing I'm not easily flustered!"

Ưu: "Check in and boarding processes were actually ok this time! Decent timeliness and decent comfort level on flight."
Khuyết điểm: "I understand that a budget flight will sell food and drink for money, but I feel it would be common courtesy if they at least provided water free of charge if a client asked."
Khuyết điểm: "Booked a midday flight directly with VietJet only to find the flight no longer was flying that day. We had been up onto a completely different flight, 4.5 hours later, with no communication whatsoever. We had paid extra for certain seats, And we're told during checkin these were given away. Thankfully they gave us the seats 1 row in front of what we'd booked. They should really tell passengers about flights, as this could have caused a lot of issues if choosing connecting flights. We were lucky to be able to rearrange our pick up."
Khuyết điểm: "2 things: 1) I've traveled dozens of airlines with the same carryon backpack. The ticket agent required me to weigh my bag and since it was greater than 7kg said I'd have to check it. 2) Flight crew was running late which is entirely understandable. BUT rather than let the 200+ passengers know what was happening the gate agents said nothing."
