Everything was excellent. Nice legroom, wonderful food for Asian Vegetarian. For entertainment, I wish there was some South Indian options. Another minor thing for the connection flight from Bangkok to Ko Samai, my meal preference didn’t carry over and they provided only non-vegetarian food which I could not eat because I am a vegetarian.
The food should be better. The service is good. The seat is ok.
The issues not caused by JAL but Americans airlines(AA). Since the ticket was purchased through AA we where froce by AA to use there baggage rules which are very restricted when you think of AA think Spirit Airlines. AA add $400 of baggage fee to ticket that would been free if we used the baggage rules of JAL. JAL siad they where froced by AA to collect the fee that was charged to AA.
Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
My flight was cancel on American , rebook 4 time? Whe to the airport each time to find out flight is canceled again, ridiculous X just ask for a refund
JAL is a good flight to visit Far East, especially Thailand for a discounted fares:-)

I was forced into a middle seat and was uncomfortable and dehydrated the majority of the trip. Nice girl at baggage check said she'd ask a manager to move me, and to let them know at the gate, but the people at the gate said no. I felt discriminated against because I didn't book through them and/or I'm not Japanese. They historically love to put mushrooms in their food, like a fetish. This left me with one choice for the entree - some version of oyakodon - eggs and chicken. In my box there were two enormous chunks of fat/skin and another unidentifiable part of the chicken, and about the amount of edible chicken as 1 1/2 nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. There was more lotus root than chicken, so basically I had a box of rice and scrambled eggs with garnish. For the second meal, it was the Yoshinoya gyudon - a small serving of thinly sliced beef with rice. If I bought this fresh at a Yoshinoya restaurant, it would cost about $3. It's the rough equivalent of serving you a McDouble - cheap and filling and a coin toss if you get stomach pains. I lost that coin toss. Unless there is a big fare difference or I find out that their reserved seat policies are changed, I will choose ANA or another carrier. I used to enjoy JAL, but I cannot abide by idiotic decisions that seemed designed to punish people for using 3rd-party booking sites or who are not Japanese."

What really bothered me was that they had already let some people into the gate and shut some other people out. Either let people in or don't. Don't follow the rules halfway because then they won't mean anything. I was very shocked by this and have never experienced this at any airline before. All I wanted to do was sit down and relax at the gate before boarding. If this ever happened to me again, I would not fly with the same airlines. To think that this was a JAL flight, with such a high reputation of customer service, makes me even more wary of booking a flight with JAL. I didn't appreciate being treated that way, and I will not tolerate it if it happens again."

Khuyết điểm: "Two key issues: 1. Split up seating 2. Required to pick up and check baggage with limited time due to customs check. 1. They split up all four of our seats (despite booking more than 30 days in advance). Our seven (7) year old daughter was by her self. So was our fifteen (15) year old son. When we addressed it to baggage check (part of major issue number 2), they put two seats together, across an aisle, with both children in them. We obviously just sat one of the adults with the seven year old. This was not just us. SEVERAL families had children seated alone and spread all over the plane. ANA needs to require grouped seating for children under thirteen (13) years old with an adult. 2. Tokyo Haneda is the only airport I can think of where I have to pick up and check baggage again just to clear customs. The flights were 1 hour and 45 minutes apart. With nearly an hour dedicated to getting baggage claimed and getting through customs, we barely had time to fix two of our split seats (see issue 1) and rush via a free bus route that took 6 minutes (luckily we were first stop) to get us to domestic terminal 2. We were then lucky again because we made it through security quickly and our gate happened to be right next to the security check we chose. Another side piece: Haneda Domestic Terminal 2 has four security check areas (A-D). We saw no identifying marks indicating which were closest to which gate. Our bags have already been through a bag check process. Feel free to run them through security scans. Don’t make us wait to collect them just to walk them through the customs desk and check them again."

The best thing was that the flight was only 20 hours from Ahmedabad, India to Philadelphia with just 3 hours of layover in Doha. Food, entertainment, staff- everything was good.

So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."

My other child is 1yr and 11 months and I was told they were only allowed baby food not a child meal. Although there were a few spare seats on the plane I was squashed into a full row with a 3 yr old and one year old on my lap. I appreciate that there may not have been any bassinet seats left but would have been helpful not to be on a full row as a single adult travelling with two small children. No offers for assistance with bags."

Never go to miami plane arrived late passport control took over 4 hrs so missed the flight to Boston then got a flight from miami to London had to pay over a £500 for a night stay in airport hotel then the messed up checking in the the baggage not happy at all going to make a claim
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
We waited 5 delays from DFW because the maintenance on the plane to pick us up had so many that had not been done routinely. Instead of being home at 2:00pm. We were home at 7:00! After all that there was not even water given to us!!
Sone pleasant staff. On time. No AA staff at gate at boarding time in PHL. Most staff engaged with one another, but not very attentive with customers.
Once airborne, the flight was uneventful. However, the flight was an hour late leaving the gate due to a weight and balance problem that needed to be corrected by restowing luggage in the baggage compartment. Several passengers missed connections in PHX; no representative from American Airlines (the captain or terminal representative) made an apology for the delay or missed connections. First class food service is poor. Nothing is warmed; sandwiches are all the same (two slices of processed meat or turkey with cheese on a pretzel roll). No hand santizers are offered or provided as was done during early covid restrictions.
Someone left a bag under the seat in front of me. It was from the previous flight. There was a kindle and a cell phone in it. There was also an empty coffee cup under the seat across the isle from me. I find it hard to believe that they are cleaning between each flight but missed these items.
Because of a mechanical problem, we were deplaned and placed on a new plane. The new plane then had to be refueled while we sat in the plane. In these situations, where refueling was entirely predictable, given the new plane, we should’ve been left in the terminal longer to enjoy its comfort rather than “sardined“ in the plane for a longer unnecessary wait.
For some reason the plane was so uncomfortably hot. The vents did not seem like they were working at all.

The economy seats were really tight, more suitable for a 2-3 hour domestic flight, not for a transoceanic 7 hour flight. I paid $81 for my seat since AA did not let me choose my seat. $81 for a seat that was really uncomfortable and with very limited leg room. I felt ripped off. There were common screens as entertainment instead of individual ones, very obsolete. This will be the last AA flight I will take."

Could either wait for the next Flint flight that would get in at about midnight and risk not having a rental car or take an earlier flight to Detroit and pay $85 for dropping rental car off at Flint."
Ưu: "I was flying with 2 children on my own and had an issue booking seats together, the gate agents worked to find a solution when we arrived and we were all seated together. Thank you so much for keeping us all together, as my one child has aspbergers and the other is only 8 and we are not frequent flyers. I highly recommend your airline to everyone I meet. Everything met or exceeded our needs. Thank you so very much."
