Plane got too warm when flying to Narita. Plane was older model.
So little room; the lady next to me was squashing me in the middle seat.
Seats TOO small and hard !!!
Only thing i have to said is rough landing and food is not great so does the entertainment.
I book my tickets thru kayak.com and when we are boarding, 6 of us sit in 6 different places. I have 3 kids and a senior mother. The crew are nice, but not willing to work with other passengers to change the sit for us. Kayak didn't send the seat assignment ahead so I didn't know we are not sitting together. Specially 11 hrs flight. ☹️
I really JAL! Will use again. KAYAK is excellent as well.

My 6' husband's knees were touching the seat in front of him, and the seats were super narrow. I can't remember being so cramped in my entire life. Mid-flight dock so one special meal can be provided for you? How about this: take some personal responsibility and purchase your own gluten free food for the flight and carry it on. Really... how can one compare the 787 with individual on demand entertainment, roomy seats, full meal service (they'll even bring a meal to you if you were asleep during the normal service), etc... all for no extra charge?!?!? It is simply amazing what JAL (and every Japanese company) sets as a standard for customer service."

It was comfortable, the plane was awesome with high ceilings and it actually felt quite spacious. The entertainment was also perfect with tons of stuff to choose from. The best part, though, was their exemplary customer service! I needed to transport cold insulin, so at the gate counter I checked with the gate agent to see if they could refrigerate my insulin since I had a long travel time to my home destination. She promptly found out for me and talked to the flight attendants and told me they would take care of it when I got to my seat. She even checked to see if I needed a special meal or not after I finding out I was diabetic. They were so kind! They even let me refreeze my cold packs in their freezer before landing so I could keep my insulin cold after we landed. It was a huge help and they seemed genuinely concerned for my well being and what I needed. I will now fly JAL whenever I can!"

I was feeling thirsty but no one gave me water in the airplane
USB plug did not work in-flight and it seemed super bumpy from start to finish. Not sure if it was because it was a much smaller plane, but I fly generally 2ce a week for work and this was by far the bumpiest and wobbliest(not sure if that is a word..haha) I've had this year. Also, in Albuquerque the gates shifted from what was on the boarding pass to what was in the terminal which caused some confusion. Then landing in Austin for my layover to Tampa the flight was delayed and then back on time on the in-app boarding pass, the gate changed too and when I got to the gate my flight was not posted. I thought I was going to miss my flight because it was supposed to have been boarding right then and I couldn't find the gate for my flight. Finally someone showed up to the desk and I was able to ask, and she confirmed that it was that gate and was delayed. There were several of us going to Tampa that were a bit stressed and confused. After all was said and done we were delayed about an hour, but it was the confusion that made things so much more stressful. I like to fly American quite a bit, and have a MC as well, and although there have been some delays, which I understand will happen, I haven't experienced this level of confusion.
Flight was delayed 10 hours without any rationale, no problems with weather on either departure or arrival. We wound up renting a car and driving instead.

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."

They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

I finally got us on an alternative flight leaving earlier after waiting for 30 minutes to speak with a supervisor because the person I initially spoke with had no power to do anything to help. We ended up flying Alaska Airlines on the way there and I wish we had originally booked through them because the way back was AWFUL. They wouldn't seat my partner and I together because we were flying Economy class, which they reminded us of repeatedly when I complained. The agents claimed they had no power to do anything because of the computer system which randomly selects your seats. I asked what about people traveling with small children and they didn't seem to have an answer. Oh yeah, that's another thing. As if we got a better deal than with any other airline out there after all the bag fees. The Economy class/the majority of the people flying have no carry on allowance. By the way, when we got on the flight we were able to sit next to each other because the seats next to us weren't even occupied. Ridiculous. Never flying United again. I've been bumped off of flights and had bad experiences before but this was the last straw for me."

Khuyết điểm: "I was warned about booking with this airline but I had to see it for myself before listening to others now I wish I had done just that. First of all, outdated planes, no Tv screens, expensive wifi. How is it only $3 one way and then $5 the other especially after making us wait for 3 hours and 22 minutes extra. Exhausting flights both to Albuquerque from Houston and from Houston to Boston. Poor communication. Poor planning ahead. Very dissatisfied. Going with Jet Blue from now on. They never disappoint, even if there was a delay in flight."

Ưu: "Biggest hassle of many flights these days is dealing with on board luggage. If people insist on bring all luggage into the cabin, they should be required to have one piece under the seat and only one overhead."

Ưu: "These days we can all admit flying is not what it used to be before 9/11. It's still professional and curtious, but the awareness and appreciation of passengers has dwindled. Stewards and stewardesses go through the motions and do just what they need to do not more. The pilots got the plane to its destination well within the time sometimes even a half an hour early. But sometimes being that early means sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes which cut it close to missing my next flight. Flights used to offer blankets if passengers were cold. If the plane is not full they do allow passengers to move seats to be more comfortable. The complementary beverage is still always a nice touch but seconds aren't offered and cups are often taken before they're finished. It would be nice to see our country's airlines go back to a little more awareness and appreciation for one another, and work to improving their levels to above satisfactory. The flight was supposed to have entertainment viewable on personal devices but going through the app to select something was told this flight didn't have access. Overall it was satisfactory."

Khuyết điểm: "Got a voucher for a hotel that was of very poor quality. I made my own rebooking. Otherwise I probably would never leave ABQ."

Khuyết điểm: "Seats are narrower and make for a lot of discomfort when stuck in the middle seat. I do not like other stranger's bodies touching mine. That is just wrong."
Ưu: "I think Topeka was her name. She was a very good flight attendant"
Khuyết điểm: "The gate changed after we checked in which was only 30 mins before. Almost missed the flight because we were waiting at the wrong gate. Earlier and accurate description of gate is what is needed. Or someone from united to visit the other gate and announce there is a change to help people out"
