Excellent overall service. Quick boarding, very quick de boarding. Flight attendants were very attentive and quick to take care of any request. Food was good quality and tasty. Overall very satisfied with Premium Economy purchase.
The issues not caused by JAL but Americans airlines(AA). Since the ticket was purchased through AA we where froce by AA to use there baggage rules which are very restricted when you think of AA think Spirit Airlines. AA add $400 of baggage fee to ticket that would been free if we used the baggage rules of JAL. JAL siad they where froced by AA to collect the fee that was charged to AA.
Only thing i have to said is rough landing and food is not great so does the entertainment.
Overall experience from checking in to boarding off - everything was painless and comfortable. Nice treatment. Special meals was good. Nothing to complain about. The seats were quite comfortable and had ample leg room. Will fly again with them,

Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore."

Not a good way to represent your airline."

The crew told my brother and his wife to wait for another12 hours which is the next morning, for next flight. My brother decided to just take a rental car to KZO, and was going to just take their luggage from the airline, but the AA crew would not let them did so, and was really rude. It was very traumatic experience for the both of them and other passangers of how bad they treated this plane delay/cancellation issue. One passenger with baby was having a panic attack, but nothing was done. So far, no compensation, or apology email has been sent. Will never take this airline anymore. We are done."

Totally unorganized. Not this way in Japan."

Switched to a flight to D.C. with a connection to get to LGA. As soon as we sat down on that flight an announcement was made that we wouldn't make our connecting flight. Got to D.C. and asked to switch to go into Westchester instead of LGA which we were denied. So changed to another connecting flight to LGA that didn't take off on time. Offered nothing for any of the inconveniences. Etc."

The only major issue I had was once I arrived in Honolulu my luggage was damaged. I should’ve filed a claim while at the airport at the time but didn’t realize it until I got to the hotel."

The gate attendants left at the time we were supposed to Board, then the departure time changed on the board and no announcement was made. Another gate attendant told me that the aircraft was at DYT, but the reason for delay was crew rest. As the delays continued, 3 in all, we were told that the aircraft was at DYT but we were waiting on a crew to be flown in from Charlotte. Not sure how AA messed up their crew rest schedule on domestic regional jet carrier. Either way, a new gate attendant arrived to take over, and continued to tell us we were waiting on crew. Then the story changed to waiting on aircraft and crew. By the time the 3rd change in departure had been made, and we were still waiting on aircraft and cre, AA failed to continue to update the departure and arrival times. Once we boarded around 9:00pm the boarding time still showed 8:10pm. Then we sat on the runway awaiting departure for approx 40 minutes before taking off. Very poor communication And customer service."

You might also want to add to your instructions how to disembark the plane, some individuals think their schedule is more important and rush up the isle in front of others who are trying to get their carry on luggage from the overhead compartment. Losers!!"

Then I had to find my luggage which was not sent on the flights w/ me. But on the next flight from DFW to Houston. Which arrived before I made it to Houston. Each plane I was on was smaller than the last. And the second plane sounded as though it was about to fall apart. I never received any explanation as to why my original flight was canceled. Nobody offered any vouchers or compensation for the immense inconvenience. I will never fly American /American Eagle again."

I did not know my seating had been changed."

Crew at the gate and on the plane were wonderful. Personnel at the airport were also wonderful aside from the fact that I couldn't seem to get on the official standby list until my mother-in-law got me on by talking to personnel at a completely different airport."

Was given a 2 food vouchers but very late, 30 mins before boarding time. Paid for two meals already by then. My Friday to Monday trip to see my family was shortened by almost a day. I hadn’t seen them for 3 years. Don't know when I'll be able to see them next. Not happy..."

Even if the United flight has an Air Canada code share United passengers MUST clear customs manually. How hard is this for flight attendants to understand?"

Khuyết điểm: "Delayed.. After getting on the plane late, had to wait for quite some time while on the plane to take off. Because of the delays both out of Dayton to O'Hare them from O'Hare to Atlanta I was almost a half hour late for my sons graduation. Not happy!"
