Ưu: "The seat was comfortable, the food was delicious and the aircraft was clean."
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding was awful. The staff definitely need better training at adapting with the Covid 19 situation. Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore."

I sat down with my wife in the waiting area and observed the front desk personnel joking around with each other for the next 45 minutes before the flight. Very unprofessional and not helpful. Not a good way to represent your airline."

No trains or hotels available, only way to rebook was through their phone service? Which didn’t open until 8am. Why not rebook at the ticket desk, guess what? You can’t!"

In-flight entertainment - 4 movies form San Diego to Narita. 3 Movies form Narita to San Diego (tail winds make the return trip shorter). I love and appreciate the toothbrush/paste in the bathroom. After a long flight, nobody wants to talk to me face to face haha"

Khuyết điểm: "My brother and his wife had to wait 12 hrs for plane delay,just to hear that AA canceled all flight for that date. The crew told my brother and his wife to wait for another12 hours which is the next morning, for next flight. My brother decided to just take a rental car to KZO, and was going to just take their luggage from the airline, but the AA crew would not let them did so, and was really rude. It was very traumatic experience for the both of them and other passangers of how bad they treated this plane delay/cancellation issue. One passenger with baby was having a panic attack, but nothing was done. So far, no compensation, or apology email has been sent. Will never take this airline anymore. We are done."

My meals were also pretty bad on the way back, which is odd because they were not bad on the way there. It was definitely one of the worst flights that I've ever had, mostly because of the heat."

The service in Narita was significantly better. I'm American and have come to accept poor service, but I can't understand why passengers must pay for a cart to carry their luggage - especially on international flights, before any opportunity to exchange currency. Surely the airlines have some say in this..."

The Flights delayed and I missed my fl next flight

Khuyết điểm: "Don’t know because I did not take this flight."

Khuyết điểm: "Landing late to Chicago almost cost me my connection so I was stressed and could not eat due to limited time in between. The airline didn't notify us of being late to Chicago until I was on plane. We were told it was on time. Very disappointing.."

Khuyết điểm: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."

I was supposed to land at 6:55 and didn’t land til 9:30 and I was late for work due to poor planning. The pilot even admitted in the announcement that there was a crew problem and maintence problem. I was not happy"

Crew was pleasant enough during the flight, although they didn't greet half of the passengers entering or exiting the plane."

There was one announcement from the captain, but it was so soft that I couldn't hear anything. Upon landing and arriving at the gate, we stood there for a while with no lights on and seatbelt sign on, but no explanation of what was going on. There was no welcome to Denver message either. Maybe their announcement system was down."

Khuyết điểm: "This turned out to be a 'code share' flight operated by American Airlines. As such, neither Qantas nor American Airlines would allow me to buy premium seats so we could have extra leg room. They said the 'code share' blocks seat sales! Be ware Also found out that American Airlines does not serve meals on flights from Toronto to LAX. I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!"

Khuyết điểm: "When I arrived at the gate, the flight was on time, but no aircraft was at the gate. The gate attendants left at the time we were supposed to Board, then the departure time changed on the board and no announcement was made. Another gate attendant told me that the aircraft was at DYT, but the reason for delay was crew rest. As the delays continued, 3 in all, we were told that the aircraft was at DYT but we were waiting on a crew to be flown in from Charlotte. Not sure how AA messed up their crew rest schedule on domestic regional jet carrier. Either way, a new gate attendant arrived to take over, and continued to tell us we were waiting on crew. Then the story changed to waiting on aircraft and crew. By the time the 3rd change in departure had been made, and we were still waiting on aircraft and cre, AA failed to continue to update the departure and arrival times. Once we boarded around 9:00pm the boarding time still showed 8:10pm. Then we sat on the runway awaiting departure for approx 40 minutes before taking off. Very poor communication And customer service."

The storage under the seat in front can barely fit a backpack, and if you're over 4 feet tall you'll hit your head trying to get anything off the floor or out of a bag. I could barely store my book in the seat pocket in front of me. Looks like this is the new face of flying with this awful airline."
Ưu: "Our flight had a veteran who had received the Medal of Honor and the pilot and attendants took a moment to recognize him and it was sooo special and meaningful for American Airlines to take the time to thank this awesome individual!!! Thank you!!"
Khuyết điểm: "Our flight from Washington DC to Lima had a connection flight in Colombia. Since the flight from DC was delayed for more than an hour we ended up missing our connection flight from Colombia to Lima, Peru. And from there everything went downhill. In Colombia they crew didn't know what was going to happen to us. After waiting over 3 hours they finally told us the found an early morning flight for us and that they were going to accommodate us in an hotel in Colombia for to spend the night. we waited until midnight for the transportation to the hotel and there were another 100 persons waiting to get transportation to the hotel as well and to check inn in the hotel. disaster."

Also, she arranged for my checked bag from Dayton, OH to be transferred to the new flight. I was concerned by happy to get it in Denver - actually, it was one of the first luggage to arrive."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was booked through Jetfly and I tried to change the date. I ended up losing the entire ticket. No flight, no money. I talked to Jetfly at least 8 times and they kept confusing things, delaying things, and were not very helpful which caused me to miss any available flights."

I could not move entire flight & he had armrest up & took up my space & full plant so i could not move elsewhere. my neck is still killing me because i had to turn my head to stay away from his face. i will NEVER fly united again."
Ưu: "Plane was delayed 87 minutes because the plane had maintenance issues that the air and did not organize and plan better. For their error, I missed my client and got fired."

Khuyết điểm: "I purchased my ticket in March with seating assigned to me and then when I travel from Chicago to San Jose my seating was changed and I had to sit back in the 22nd row now I walk with a cane and so this is very was very painful for me, my itinerary said that my seating was row seven for the whole trip but when I got ready to fly home from Chicago to San Jose to- day ,so I was very uncomfortable. I did not know my seating had been changed."

Crew at the gate and on the plane were wonderful. Personnel at the airport were also wonderful aside from the fact that I couldn't seem to get on the official standby list until my mother-in-law got me on by talking to personnel at a completely different airport."

Lines and phone hold times for rebooking took an hour each time I stood in line, which was four times.Thankfully, I was on standby for this same-day flight and was able to arrive at my destination 12 hours later than planned instead of 36 hours later than planned."

Khuyết điểm: "Flight was delayed approx 7-8 times, 7.5 hrs. I arrived at 7:15 am for a 9:20am flight to find that it was delayed. Wasn't notified before leaving home of delay. Was given a 2 food vouchers but very late, 30 mins before boarding time. Paid for two meals already by then. My Friday to Monday trip to see my family was shortened by almost a day. I hadn’t seen them for 3 years. Don't know when I'll be able to see them next. Not happy..."
Khuyết điểm: "I had to interrupt my flight and book another flight from Denver to Phoenix. Mass confusion to simply guarantee my checked bag would no continue on to Maui. I was told to keep my bag at the ticket desk in Dayton....scolded for doing so at the gate....then again scolded for same thing at gate for Denver to Phoenix.
